Self-determination is a predictor of positive in- and post-school outcomes, including access to general education, competitive employment, and community participation. Emerging research has focused on promoting self-determination for all students given alignments with college and career readiness frameworks and equity-based education. However, it is also important to enhance self-determination as students participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goal development process. Empowering transition-age students to lead the IEP goal development process with support from school personnel has the potential to enhance the alignment of IEP goals based on students’ strengths, preferences, values, and needs and enhance transition planning and college and career readiness. In this article, we provide an example of how to use a self-determination assessment, the Self-Determination Inventory: Student Report (SDI:SR), and an intervention, the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI), in the IEP goal development and implementation process to enhance transition planning and college and career readiness.

Subject. The canonical task of transport logistics in the distributed system "suppliers - consumers" is considered. Goal. Development of an accurate algorithm for solving this problem according to the probabilistic criterion in the assumption of the random nature of transportation costs has been done. Tasks. 1. Development of an exact method for solving the problem of finding a plan that minimizes the total cost of transportation in conditions when their costs are given by their distribution densities. 2. Development of a method for solving the problem when the distribution density of the cost of transportation is not known. Methods. A computational scheme for solving the problem is proposed, which is implemented by an iterative procedure for sequential improvement of the transportation plan. The convergence of this procedure is proved. In order to accelerate the convergence of the computational procedure to the exact solution, an alternative method is proposed based on the solution of a nontrivial problem of fractional nonlinear programming. The method reduces the original complex problem to solving a sequence of simpler problems. The original problem is supplemented by considering a situation that is important for practice when, in the conditions of a small sample of initial data, there is no possibility of obtaining adequate analytical descriptions for the distribution densities of the random costs of transportation. To solve the problem in this case, a minimax method is proposed for finding the best transportation plan in the most unfavorable situation, when the distribution densities of the random cost of transportation are the worst. To find such densities, the modern mathematical apparatus of continuous linear programming was used. Results. A mathematical model and a method for solving the problem of transport logistics in conditions of uncertainty of the initial data are proposed. The desired plan is achieved using the solution of the fractional nonlinear programming problem. Conclusions: The problem of forming a transportation plan is considered, provided that their costs are random values. Also, a method for solving the problem of optimization of transportation for a situation where the density of distribution of random cost cannot be correctly determined is considered.

One way to advance the sport is by innovating sports equipment, especially in futsal, to make it easier for coaches to see the development of their students while making it easier for players to practice. This study aims to assist children in training by using practical and efficient futsal goal training tools. The problems that occur on the field are very complex. During training the coach finds it difficult to move the huge futsal goal. What's more, the distance between the field and the futsal goal storage area is quite far, not only that the goal storage room must also be quite large. And if you want to move the wicket, you have to require a lot of people to lift it so it is less practical and efficient. In addition, the goal cannot be reduced in size. The aim of this research is to develop practical and efficient futsal goal products in futsal games. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D). The development of a practical and efficient futsal goal training tool was first validated by coaches / experts, tool experts and linguists. The results showed that a practical and efficient futsal goal training tool was suitable for use as a futsal training aid. The results of the validation results obtained from a) the appearance aspect of this futsal goal product is 'feasible' with a percentage of 87,5%. b) the material aspect of this futsal goal product is "feasible" with a percentage of 86.6%. c) the usability aspect of this futsal goal product is "feasible" with a percentage 84,2%. d) practical and economical aspects of this futsal goal product are "feasible" with a percentage of 80%. Thus, the conclusion is that a practical and efficient futsal goal training tool has been declared fit for use as a futsal training aid.

The Infant Toddler Activity Card Sort (ITACS) is a new measure that engages caregivers in goal development by measuring participation in early childhood. Initial evaluation of the ITACS is required to assess its psychometric properties. To evaluate test–retest reliability, concurrent validity, and between-group differences of the ITACS. Caregivers ( N = 208) of children 0–3 years, who were typically developing (TD) or had a developmental delay (DD), completed the ITACS and Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory–Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT) with repeat assessment after 2 weeks later ( n = 117). The ITACS demonstrated moderate concurrent validity with the PEDI-CAT. Children with DD had significantly more activity concerns on the ITACS than TD. Adequate test–retest reliability was not achieved. The ITACS is a useful tool for identifying caregiver concerns in activity engagement; interventions can be tailored to address concerns and increase participation in childhood routines.

The subject of the research is methods and algorithms for developing the GERT networks that provide a hidden transition along the branches of the control logic graph and the ability to encode digital watermarks in the context of existing threats to the licensing security of software systems. The aim of the work is to develop a system of a software product licensed security based on hidden transition algorithms in GERT networks that carry the properties of digital watermarks. The article solves the following goal: development of a model of a software licensed security system based on the developed algorithms using GERT networks. Methods of mathematical modeling, numerical experiment, complexity theory and cryptography are used. The following results were obtained: on the basis of the analysis of existing models for ensuring software licensed security, the main requirements for the algorithms synthesized within the framework of the developed model, as well as for the machine implementation of the algorithm, were identified. Based on the investigation of existing watermark systems, methods of attack on them, as well as the requirements put forward for the developed model, a licensing security algorithm was formed based on the watermark system. Conclusions: for the first time, algorithms for safe transition in GERT-networks were developed, which are used as a graph of the control logic of a software product. This logic is implemented depending on the identification or serial number; a model of a licensed security system has been developed, which has not only empirical, but also theoretical substantiation of resistance to attacks by an intruder.

Abstract Background Development is rapid in the first years of life. Developmental delays appearing during this critical period have the potential to persist throughout the child’s life. Available standardized assessments for this age record a child’s ability to successfully complete discrete skills but fail to capture whether the child incorporates those skills into daily routines that are meaningful to the child and family. The Infant Toddler Activity Card Sort (ITACS) is a newly developed photograph-based early intervention tool to measure the participation-related concept of activity competence using caregiver report. The purpose of the present study was to use Rasch analysis to determine if ITACS items comprehensively measure the construct of child activity competence. Results A total of 60 child/caregiver dyads participated. The dichotomous caregiver-reported responses (present vs. absent) on the 40 individual ITACS items were used in Rasch analysis, and three iterations of the model were completed. The final model included 51 child/caregiver dyads and 67 ITACS assessments with a good spread of individual ability measure (6.47 logits). All items demonstrated adequate infit except for “sleeping” (range 0.68–1.54). Five items (sleeping, eating at restaurants, brushing teeth, crawling, and interact with pets) demonstrated high Mean Square (MNSQ) outfit statistics and one (take a bath) demonstrated low MNSQ outfit. ITACS items demonstrated a good spread of item difficulty measures (6.27 logits), and a clear ceiling was observed. Three activity items (smiling, breastfeeding, and playing with adults) were rarely endorsed as concerns. The activities most likely to be reported as challenging were “crying/communicating” and “going to school”. Person and item reliability statistics were adequate (0.79 and 0.80, respectively). The separation between individuals and between items were adequate to good (1.96 and 1.99, respectively). Conclusions Findings indicate that ITACS items are measuring a unidimensional construct--activity competence in early childhood. The Rasch analysis of caregiver responses suggest that some activities are more likely to be considered challenging and may be important targets for intervention. These results provide evidence to further validate the ITACS as a caregiver report measure and support its use in the early intervention setting to facilitate caregiver driven goal development.

The purpose of this article is to provide evidence of the technical adequacy of the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System–Third Edition (AEPS-3). The AEPS has long been identified as one of the most psychometrically sound early childhood curriculum-based assessments. In this article, results of three studies of technical adequacy are reviewed. First, a utility study was conducted to examine the degree to which teachers and providers found the AEPS-3 useful for its intended purposes (i.e., goal development and programming). Second, we examined the interrater reliability of the AEPS-3 by having teachers and providers view videotapes and score AEPS-3 items. Finally, a concurrent validity study was conducted, whereby a group of children were assessed using a norm-referenced assessment and the AEPS-3. Results of all three studies show provide early evidence that the AEPS-3 is psychometrically sound.
