The study aims to analyze development strategy of nutmeg (Myristic fragan haitt) in Tanjung Raya Sub-district, Agam District. The study applied decriptive method. The data were collected through in depth interview with three internal key infromants, in this case farmers, and external key informants including head of forestry and plantation department of Agam District, and one nutmeg farmer. SWOT analysis were applied to formulate development strategy of nutmeg at Sabik Tajam farmers group in Tanjung Raya Sub-district, Agam District. The development strategies include developing cooperation with government and private sector; technology improvement for value added of nutmeg farmers income through nutmeg agro-industry; promotion of nutmeg sector by the government, both in local and international market; participating in training held by relevant government authorities particularly those related to nutmeg processing and establishing house of HPT (plant pests and disease) to overcome the pests and disease; conducting training to the farmers covering the marketing aspect; cultivation and technology development; the involvement of UPTD (technical implementation unit at local) in cultivation and HPT of nutmeg; optimizing the resources and marketing, and develop cooperation with the farmers group that have more advanced technology.  Keywords : nutmeg, IFE matrix, EFE, SWOT, nutmeg development strategy

PurposeThe paper aims to explore the influential path of internet marketing capabilities impacting international market performance. The paper further investigates the mitigating roles of market- and entrepreneurial-oriented behaviors and knowledge internalization in this relationship. The effect of internet use for customer management on internet marketing capabilities is also examined.Design/methodology/approachA total of 618 firms with sales in international markets were approached to participate. Data were collected from a sample of 132 Taiwanese firms and analyzed using a structural equation model.FindingsUse of internet for customer management positively influences internet marketing capabilities. The results also support the positive impacts of internet marketing capabilities on market- and entrepreneurial-oriented behaviors. Knowledge internalization mediates the relationships between market- and entrepreneurial-oriented behaviors and international market performance.Research limitations/implicationsThis paper’s investigation of the role of internet marketing capability in international market performance contributes to online internationalization, strategic orientations and organizational learning theory.Practical implicationsManagers should focus on developing internet marketing capabilities in management culture and fostering market- and entrepreneurial-oriented behaviors to facilitate knowledge internalization for better international performance.Originality/valueThis paper contributes to the construction of an alternative and comprehensive mechanism to understand the influences of internet marketing capabilities on the firm’s international performance.

Sintered silver joint is a porous silver that bonds a semiconductor die to the substrate as part of the packaging process. Sintered Ag is one of the few possible bonding methods to fulfill the operating conditions of wide band-gap (WBG) power device technologies. We review the current technology development of sintered Ag as a bonding material from the perspective of patents filed by various stakeholders since late 1980s. This review addresses the formulation of sintered pastes (i.e., nano-Ag, hybrid Ag, and micron Ag fillers), innovations in the process and equipment to form this Ag joint. This review will provide the insights and confidence to engineers, scientists from universities and industry as well as investors who are developing and commercializing the sintered Ag as a bonding material for microelectronic packaging.

As its popularity increased, internet was converted to a main marketing tool for many types of businesses. However, it preserves more promising features due to offered globality and rapidness when it comes to communicate people effectively. As invested financial budgets and intellectual power are increased for global brands, which internet marketing strategies a business would succeed in international market has become a crucial inquiry. This study subjected 10 different international brands by conducting qualitative and quantitative research methods to compare efficiency of internet marketing strategies in order to correspond this question.

AbstractThe technology development needed to support the continuous improvement of Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) characteristics of semiconductor manufacturing facilities is changing as strategies for source reduction and incident prevention and more refined schemes for assessing ESH improvement emerge. This paper summarizes the changes taking place in ESH management structure and focuses on examples of current technology development to satisfy the new model of ESH execution.
