Production and export of Indonesian pepper in the world market has declined because of low in productivity, quality and product diversification, inefficient marketing chain and lack of technology transfer to farmers level. The study was conducted to identify and analyze export problems in pepper, and to formulate strategies and policies for pepper export development. This study used primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed with Trade Performance Index and Analytic Hierarchy Process. The results showed that the problems in Indonesian pepper export were low competitiveness and productivity, poor infrastructure, inappropriate institutional farmers and traders, high interest rates and improper policy implementation. The recommended grand strategies for pepper export development were resources optimization, infrastructure and institutional development, financing schemes, and strengthening policy implementation.

Taking Hangzhou cigarette factory as an example, this paper establishes a key performance index system through integrating the balanced scorecard (BSC) and key performance index (KPI). The index system includes the first-level and 13 second-level indicators in four dimensions of finance, customers, internal processes, as well as learning and growth. Through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, it constructs an evaluation model of key corporate performance, finally achieves the actual performance levels of the enterprise, as well as puts forward the improvement suggestions. This evaluation method mainly includes the steps of determining the domain of evaluation factors at all levels, determining the evaluation level, determining fuzzy weight vectors of various indexes, establishing the fuzzy relation matrix and calculating comprehensive evaluation results. It has high accuracy in the process of performance evaluation, which has certain reference and guiding significance for improving the comprehensive competitiveness.

The performance index system weighting of urban water supply was determined by using analytic hierarchy process. Firstly, the water supply performance index system class hierarchy was established, and then the expert scoring was conducted, the judgment matrix established, and the qualitative index quantified. Secondly, the eigenvector analytic hierarchy was sorted, and then, the indicators weights were determined. Therefore, the weight coefficient of index system by analytic hierarchy process is objective and applicable, and lay a good foundation for the performance evaluation.

There is an increasing pressure by community and customers forcing companies to insert environmental concerns in their practices. To help companies initiatives, the green bonds market was incepted. Our research question is how to select bonds in a growing billion-dollar market. This paper presents a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) model to enable investors identify opportunities based not only in opinions, but grounded on objective facts. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) are two MCDA methods applied in this paper. Top-fifteen green bonds ranked by specialized media were assessed with the proposed MCDA model. Criteria included the Environmental Performance Index (EPI) proposed by Yale University, and common financial indicators as assets, risks (β), and dividends. The new AHP–COPRAS rank is compared with another published by specialized media.

Abstract Manager always faced to make a choice from various alternatives. Here the necessary prioritization and test the consistency of the choices that have been made. In complex situations, decision-making is not influenced by one factor alone but is multifactorial and includes various levels and interests. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a structured technique for organizing and analyzing complex decisions, based on mathematics and psychology. It was developed by Thomas L. Saaty in the 1970s and has been extensively studied and refined since then. The AHP helps decision makers find one that best suits their goal and their understanding of the problem. It provides a comprehensive and rational framework for structuring a decision problem, for representing and quantifying its elements, for relating those elements to overall goals, and for evaluating alternative solutions. In this study, AHP used for decission making in Dhompet Dhuafa planning programs. First we decompose their decision problem into a hierarchy of more easily comprehended sub-problems, The elements of the hierarchy can relate to any aspect of the decision problem. The AHP converts these evaluations to numerical values that can be processed and compared over the entire range of the problem. This study use metodhologies: brain storming discuss, indepth interview, and collect secondary data. Find Dhompet Dhuafa solution problems by AHP.The good point of this study is showed how to use AHP for decision making.

Coffee is an important export commodity for Indonesia, which contributes a sizeable foreign exchange. Indonesian coffee production is still fluctuating. Simalungun is a regency in North Sumatera province which have significant potential for the development of Arabica coffee commodity. However, there are some obstacles in the development of arabica coffee farming including land resources utilization, aspects of cultivation, harvest and post-harvest, and institutional aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate business development strategies for arabica coffe agribusiness. This study aims to determine priority strategies from various alternatives in developing Arabica coffee. Determination of the location of the study was done purposively. Respondents in this study were experts or key people who understoodarabika coffee agribusiness. The method used in determining respondents is purposive sampling. Primary data is obtained through direct interviews conducted with respondents and secondary data obtained from books, journals and books of the agricultural service report. Several alternatives in this study were determined based on the results of discussions with the experts and also based on the literature and previous research. Some of these alternatives are then compared in a questionnaire for the respondents. The comparison is then processed using the analytic hierarchy process method (AHP). Data processing is done using the expert choice application so that a priority alternative appears. The study oncludes that based on analytic hierarchy process, the priority strategy is developing the capacity of human resources (HR) of agribusiness actors
