THE FACTORS AFFECTING TENDENCY OF FRAUD IN GOVERNMENT SECTOR

<p>The purpose of this study is to explore perception of government officials in government agencies about the effects of morality of individuals, organizational culture, and leadership style on tendency of fraud. This study is a quantitative research using a survey which collected main data from the samples by using questionnaire. This research was analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The respondents of this research were the Subsection Head of Finance and Expenditure Treasurer. The findings indicate that morality of individuals has no significant effect on tendency of fraud, while organizational culture and leadership style have a significant negative effect on tendency of<em> </em>fraud.</p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali persepsi para pegawai pemerintah di instansi pemerintahan mengenai pengaruh moralitas individu, budaya organisasi, dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kecenderungan fraud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan cara survei yakni mengumpulkan data pokok dari suatu sampel dengan memakai instrumen kuesioner. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Responden penelitian adalah kepada Kasubbag Keuangan dan Bendahara Pengeluaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa moralitas individu tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecenderungan fraud, sedangkan budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kecenderungan fraud.</p>

The intention of this research was to identify and reveal those impacts from leadership style, training, and organizational culture towards the employee performance of Bhayangkara Brimob Hospital at Depok. This research was included in quantitative research with causal method through cross-sectional methods to see the correlations between variables. The research population was all Medical Staff of Bhayangkara Brimob Hospital at Depok, with a total of 197 employees, while the sample in this research was 130 employees (through Slovin 5% error tolerance). The data collection method in this research used a review of damage and a field review, while the method of data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis to examine the hypothesis. The results showed that the leadership style, training, and organizational culture both partially and simultaneously affect the employee performance of the Bhayangkara Brimob Hospital at Depok.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to study the factors affecting the development of e-government by using a citizen-centric approach. Design/methodology/approach – This paper is a mixed-methods study consisting of qualitative and quantitative research. Data were collected from government agencies using a structured interview and questionnaire about e-government services. The research was collected from the people responsible for the management of an e-government project in 75 government agencies. In addition, the researcher collected data from 1,400 citizens by using an e-Survey questionnaire that grouped participants by age. Findings – By using a citizen-centric approach, the paper identified the factors affecting the development of e-government. There were five factors from the viewpoint of government agencies and citizen groups: quality of e-government services, policy and governance, information technology infrastructure, organization and economy and society. Research limitations/implications – The research covered the development patterns of e-government for services from government to citizens only. Practical implications – Seeing the importance of environmental factors for both service providers and service users would facilitate continuous improvement of e-government service provision by government agencies. Social implications – The results reflect citizens’ need for e-government services; quality is their priority. Hence, government agencies must consider the quality of the delivery of information and e-government services as they relate to the lifestyles and needs of citizens. Originality/value – The creation of knowledge from merging e-government concepts with citizen-centric principles is a modern government sector management theory. This research stresses the need for the government sector to see the need for e-government and to recognize the factors for its successful development. This means the design and development of e-government services should respond to the increasing needs of the citizens.

This study aimed to explore the employee perceptions of fraud in government agencies and the factors that influence the occurrence of fraud . The variables used in this study are the compliance of compensation and culture of organization as independent variables and fraud in government agencies as the dependent variable. Samples used in this research as many as 60 respondents from government agencies in Manado, especially in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency and the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning of the City of Manado. Sampling technique uses purposive sampling and data collection used questionnaires. The analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 23 application. The results showed that, there is no influence of the appropriateness of compensation by fraud in Manado City government agencies, and there is a significant negative effect on fraud in Manado City government agencies.

The development of the business world today more rapidly resulting in tight competition. This is demanding business players in order to leap ahead of the competition with how to improve the quality of human resources and expected employee can improve performance. To be employee performance and the company is also required to pay attention to the factors that can affect the performance of the employees. This research is a type of quantitative research, data obtained with the spread of the questionnaire to 45 respondents. The population in this research is all employees on CV. Putri Sion which numbered 45 people. The Data obtained and then in the analysis using the validity test, test reliability test, classical assumptions, determination coefficient test, t test, F test and multiple linear regression analysis. This research result shows that partially, job satisfaction and leadership style significantly affect to employee performance meanwhile the most dominant affecting performance is employee jobs satisfaction.

<p>This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance at PT. SNS Madiun. The method used in this study using quantitative research methods. And samples used in this study as many as 45 employees. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained that the Organizational Culture and Leadership Significant positive influence on employee performance. The better the culture of the organization, then the employee's performance will increase. PurposeThis study aims to examine, analyze and explain the influence of leadership style, motivation and discipline to employee performance simultaneously and partially at PT. Kiyokuni Indonesia. Design/methodology/approachThe primary data used in this study come from questionnaire on respondents’ motivation, discipline, leadership style and employee performance. From 451 people as the population, 82 respondents who met the criteria as a sample were chosen by using the Slovin formula. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS Version 22. FindingsThe results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between leadership style, employee motivation and discipline on employee performance. The results also show that there is a positive and significant influence partially between leadership style, employee motivation and discipline on employee performance. Discipline is the variable of the most powerful influence on employee performance, so it needs special attention. Originality/valueThe respondents of this research work for a company which generates products through the work of hands (manual work) and aims to promote the products in the international market.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of organizational culture, transformational leadership style and employee motivation toward organizational commitment. This research was conducted at PT. Ganesha Emas Dwipa Denpasar Branch. The number of target population of this study as much as 33 respondents Data collection is done through observation, interviews and questionnaires. This study uses instrument test by using multiple linear regression analysis technique. Based on the analysis results found that organizational culture, transformational leadership style, and employee motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Partially organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Transformational leadership style partially positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, while employee motivation partially have a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Commitment can be achieved if individuals in the organization are aware of their rights and obligations in the organization regardless of position and position of each individual, because the achievement of organizational goals is the result of the work of all members of the organization that are collective.

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk Makassar Unit. The research model used in this study is the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies conducted systematically based on the research objectives. The sample in this study is 95 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis (R2), T test (partial) and F test (simultaneous). The results of the study show that leadership styles have a positive and significant influence on employee performance while organizational culture has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. This makes the leadership style the most dominant variable affecting the performance of employees at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk Makassar Unit.

This study aims to determine autocratic leadership style, communication and work motivation Against Employee performance at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. This research includes the type of quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The sample used in this study were 72 employees at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classic assumption test using SPSS version 18 for windows. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires whose measurement used a Likert scale that was tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study prove that Autocratic Leadership Style, Communication and Work Motivation Against Employee Performance simultaneously affect employee Performance. communication partially affects employee performance, work motivation partially influences employee performance, job satisfaction also partially affects employee Performance.

This research aims to investigate the effect of the role of organizational culture, communication and leadership style on job satisfaction. The object of this research is Senior High Schools (SMA)/Vocational Secondary School (SMK)/MAN, while the subject are 55 School Principals. Four variables from the research data were gathered through instruments in the form valid and reliable questionnaires. Statistical Analysis of the research data used multiple linear regression analysis with the significance in accordance with the output of SPSS 22.0. Findings indicated that organizational culture has an effect but not significant on job satisfaction, while communication has a significant effect on job satisfaction, and leadership style has a significant effect on job satisfaction, variable of organizational culture, communication and leadership style has a significant effect on job satisfaction
