Introduction: Enterobacteria are the main group causing infections in humans. The aim of this review is to present the new genera and the taxonomic changes that the Enterobacteriacea family has experienced in recent years. Methodology: a systematic search of papers published in databases from January 2000 to July 2018 was done. Additionally, the bibliographic references of each document were reviewed and each paper citing the article was reviewed in search of clinical cases. Results: Nineteen new genera of Enterobacteria have been described since 2000. The genera Yersinia, Morganella and Erwinia do not belong to the family Enterobacteriacea anymore. Conclusions: for an adequate clinical and epidemiological interpretation, it is advisable to update the libraries of the commercial systems used for the identification of the microorganisms, as well as to train the staff in the taxonomic changes of microorganisms.

History has shown that primitive societies, with their well-developed value and norm systems, were self-governing. Needs of the people led to the development of mechanisms for survival. As primitive societies became more complex, a need arose for knowledge of the nature and structure of the communities in which they lived. Moral laws and rules, which governed primitive communities, were organized around the family and tribal environment. Even in the 21st century, forms of human behavior management center on tribal authority systems in different parts of the world. Crime is a social construction that has been widely theorized by historians, sociologists, anthropologists, and, of course, criminologists. Researchers have long tried to answer the questions as to why crime exists, how it is defined, how it can be controlled, and what makes it more prevalent in certain communities than in others. This special issue addresses many of these questions and reflects on contemporary research in the criminological field. The authors are at the forefront of the research on crime and shed new light on our societies’ ability to identify, reduce, or cope with criminality.

The changing sociological scene places greater emphasis today on self-fulfilment psychology and individual expectations, often at the expense of responsibility in relationships. This, coupled with greater demands on staff (especially on managers of corporations) places, at times, unrealistic demands on normally stable relationships, particularly in a marriage. The result is increased family tension, often resulting in marriage breakdown with significant scarring of partners and children; those individuals, so affected, suffer reduced productivity in their work roles. As we approach the 21st century, there is emphasis, in the management of corporations, on innovation and cost efficiency, thus placing greater pressure on individual staff. This paper takes the position that corporations, in their own self-interest and in the interest of staff, need to assess the impact of their current policies on not only their staff but also on staff families. While maintaining that it remains the single responsibility of individuals to make decisions on managing, effectively, their corporate/private lives, the author supports the proposal of others (Evans and Bartolome, 1980) that corporations' policies should help, not hinder, the process.Corporations which continue to ignore these considerations will incur long term consequences with significant impact on productivity and efficient management, aside from possible disastrous impact on their staff and families.Corporations in Australia are taking steps to address this situation but much more needs to be done. This was highlighted in the March 1985 'Middle Management' course with its associated Spouses Programme presented jointly by Australian Mineral Foundation and The Australian Administrative Staff College.Effective communication is at the heart of the matter, but no amount of training on this subject will bear fruit unless there is an associated commitment by executives to improve the effectiveness of their communication process, both in their corporate and family roles.

Until the 1960s, the language and speech in Pirot changed very slowly and differed little as compared to the end of the nineteen century. Apart from the family influence, there was not any other factor that could seriously affect the language used by the citizens of Pirot. As part of the great changes caused by industrial and information revolution, the language used in Pirot began to change more rapidly and towards the end of the twentieth century, the tendency to abandon it was more and more evident. The end of this research is to clarify the causes of these phenomena. The processes are analyzed from the sociological and anthropological point of view with examples given to illustrate the language used. The basic method is observation with content analysis and archived materials used as well.

Abstract: Portuguese fiction in the 21st century seems to lean mostly towards the different forms that authorize the novel in postmodernity. For various reasons, ranging from our literary tradition to the creation of an editorial market that fosters this genre, writers who emerged after the passing of the millennium and published in the major Portuguese publishing houses have made little use of the short-story.  On the other hand, the work carried out by independent publishers has brought to light other paths for Portuguese fiction that do not lead to the universe of dominant trends in the increasingly global market (a more universal character of intrigue, inclination towards constant mobility of characters and spaces, allusions of a bookish nature, refusal of local or regional references, etc.). In this sense, this work intends to analyze the contribution of Teatro Vertical, a short story book by Manuel Alberto Vieira, which, in an almost opposite sense to the dominant trends, allows us to rethink the potential of the literary short-story as a genre today, while reconfiguring one of the elements most problematized in our society: the family. To this end, this work, after a brief contextualization of the subordination of gender in our literary tradition, seeks to analyze the narrative structure of these short-stories - based on Ricardo Piglia’s reflections on short forms - as well as studying the way in which one of the dominant themes, the family, is evidenced in its complex mutations through the simplest structures, typical of the short-story.Keywords: Manuel Alberto Vieira; short story; narrative; family; cruelty.

The last third of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st century show the growth of scientific and especially, scientific-promotional papers on the problems of the particularities and forms of existence of deception and lie in European culture and social life. The concepts have emerged, proving the necessity and value of certain forms of lies for the preservation of the state, the family, and the implementation of the real practice of human communication: the existence of such activities as diplomacy, business, art and others. In some psychological and pedagogical papers define the idea of the importance of lie and deception for the development of the child’s intellectual abilities, and the success of the adult in the society. With almost unlimited amount of such literature of different theoretical levels, synthesizing the «philosophical and cultural studies of lies and deception» are much less. The papers devoted to the emergence of the first attempts of the theoretical explanation of the established practice of lying and deceiving with the help of rationally constructed theoretical constructions are not enough. This article is an attempt to fill this gap partially.

The use of non-invasive techniques to study a wide array of zoological specimens has been increasing considerably during the 21st century. Among these techniques, micro-computed X-ray tomography (μ-CT) is gaining much attention. This method may allow access to hardly visible and internal structures of valuable specimens (e.g. type specimens) through virtual dissections. We studied two type specimens of Ephemeroptera belonging to the family Heptageniidae using μ-CT; the male lectotype of Epeorella borneonia Ulmer, 1939 (pinned specimen) and the male holotype of Rhithrogeniella ornata Ulmer, 1939 (specimen in ethanol). These specimens are the only male adults known in their respective genera; hence a detailed description of their genitalia could reveal important taxonomic and phylogenetic information. We present here the first-ever μ-CT study of mayfly type specimens, and confirm that male genitalia of R. ornata lack titillators, whereas those of E. borneonia possess a pair of titillators which were concealed within the penis lobes.
