Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is a technical analysis tool that can be used to predict the movement of a currency. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo has five components or indicators, they are Tenkan Sen (or Conversion Line), Kijun Sen (or Base Line), Chikou Span (or Lagging Span), Senkou Span A and Senkou Span B. This paper discusses the application of Ichimoku Kinko Hyo in predicting the movement of USD/JPY and EUR/USD. Daily and hourly chart have been used to conduct the analysis. The observation shows that Ichimoku Kinko Hyo relatively easier to be applied in daily chart. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo can give a prediction whether a currency pair will move in a trend or consolidation.

Much research has examined performance or market efficiency by using the moving average convergence divergence (MACD) technical analysis tool. However, most tests fail to verify efficiency with the traditional parameter settings of 12, 26, and 9 days. This study confirms that applying the traditional model to Japan’s Nikkei 225 futures prices produces negative performance over the period of 2011–2019. Yet, it also finds that the MACD tool can earn significant positive returns when it uses optimized parameter values. This suggests that the Japanese market is not weak-form efficient in the sense that futures prices do not reflect all public information. Hence, the three parameters values of the MACD tool should be optimized for each market and this should take precedence over finding other strategies to reduce false trade signals. This study also tests which models are able to improve profitability by applying additional criteria to avoid false trade signals. From simulations using 19,456 different MACD models, we find that the number of models with improved performance resulting from these strategies is far greater for models with optimized parameter values than for models with non-optimized values. This approach has not been discussed in the existing literature.

In this article, we provide four financial technical analysis tools: moving averages, Bollinger bands, moving-average convergence divergence, and the relative strength index. The tftools command is used with four subcommands, each referring to a technical analysis tool: bollingerbands, macd, movingaverage, and rsi. We provide examples for each tool. tftools allows researchers to backtest their own investment strategies and will be of interest to investors, researchers, and students of finance.

<em>Technical analysis forecasts the future asset prices with the use of their historical prices, trading volumes, market action and primarily through the uses of charts that predicts the future price trends. Technical analysis guides the investor to track the market with different indicators which is convenient for their study. Technical indicators aids to analyse the short-term price movement of the shares, most importantly it indicates the turning point and helps in projecting the price movement. This paper is prepared to employ the technical analysis tool to IT index companies. Indicators have been analysed using share prices of companies for 1 years, i.e., from January 2015- December 2015. Study is performed using secondary data, which has been collected from NSE website. The Technical Indicators used for the study are Bollinger Bands and MACD (Moving Average Convergence and Divergence). The purpose of the study is to find the best technical indicator to analyse the share prices.</em>

The ability of students to analyze literary works is very weak. An important effort to improve students’ abilities in analyzing literary works is to introduce the CDA approach as an analysis tool for literary works. This study aims to describe, interpret, and explain (1) the ability of students to identify words/phrases/sentences that are praxis in short stories, (2) the ability of students to identify the form of praxis in short stories, and (3) the ability of students to interpret the socio-cultural short stories that have been analyzed. This research uses a three-dimensional technical analysis of Fairclough discourse. The result of this study show that students able to (1) choose praxis words/phrases/sentences, such as adjectives that support binary opposition and words of denial, (2) find the form of short story praxis, such as stereotypes and discrimination, and (3) the socio-cultural dimension of the short story interpreted by students is discursive Balinese ritual tradition of the dead.

Purpose: The zeal and reason to write this research paper are to evaluate the performance & risk measurement of Bank Nifty based on Machine learning, Technical Analysis & Monte Carlo Simulation. Design /Methodologies/Approach: To achieve our desired results for this study, we use moving average (auto-optimization method) as a technical analysis return optimization tool & Monte Carlo Simulation as a risk analysis tool, & at the end harmonize both of the results, & compare with buy hold strategy. We use Bank Nifty end of day historical closing data of past five years i.e.1 Jan 2015 – 31 Dec 2019, For this study using Amibroker software. Originality & Value: This research paper is beneficial for anyone who wants understand Bank Nifty on the ground of technical analysis & risk measurement technique (MCs), & also to synergies the strength of two studies. Research Limitations: In appropriate input can lead to creating wrong simulation result, there are no. of unknown factors that simulation cannot truly understand or account during the process. Practical implication: Understanding stock market results is essential to make further decisions related to risk & reward ratio. The results imply that Moving average give outstanding returns on Bank Nifty in medium to long run, & Monte Carlo Simulation having functional judgemental abilities on probabilities basis towards risk & returns. Furthermore, by apply both the technique for risk analysis, simultaneously give outstanding risk & return optimization of Bank Nifty.

Trophic relationships are conditioned by population dynamics of interacting species in the community (species present, food web connections among them, and the strength of interactions), and on the consequences of these species interactions depend various ecosystem processes such as productivity and nutrient flux. Odontocetes target a wide range of prey items and are adapted to feeding at different depths. The aim of this report is to describe the patterns of prey consumption by small odontocetes, incorporating natural predatory patterns into a potential management scheme of strategic food sources, for both human and marine predators. Using the geo-statistical analysis tool of ArcGIS 9.2, maps illustrating the intensity and location of prey consumption were made for species with a sighting index (SPUE) > 0.15. The biomass consumption emphasized the differences in habitat use by species. The trends in distribution of prey biomass removal by odontocetes particularly suggest a stratification of prey consumption primarily in shelf waters, with a prey biomass that is comprised basically by demersal fish and small pelagics (including Sardinella aurita), and into transition-oceanic depths where most of the predatory pattern would potentially rely on pelagic - mesopelagic squid and myctophids. Overall the spatial tendencies in regionalization presented in this contribution will serve as a base-line to assess ecosystem health and evaluate management scenarios.

PurposeCurrent social entrepreneurship (SE) literature advocates a critical reexamination of the core construct. As such, and based on the seemingly endless definitional debate among academics, this paper seeks to empirically analyse social entrepreneurship discourse in the United Kingdom. It aims to posit that this debate is in fact detrimental to a more coherent and evenly distributed discourse. Furthermore, the ensuing ambiguities suit other, more powerful participants, and keeping this debate live allows the discourse to be shaped.Design/methodology/approachThe author utilised critical discourse analysis (CDA) in this study, developing a personal qualitative data set (including a third sector and SE corpora containing SE policies covering 2002‐2008). This data set was then subjected to an online analysis tool WMatrix, and both sets were compared with a widely used base line corpus.FindingsThe findings show that SE discourse is now firmly attached to public policy discourse. Furthermore, this public policy concerning SE was heavily imbued with political language and ideology. Thus, the findings show empirically that SE is characterised in broader public policy debates as a politically re‐constructed concept.Research limitations/implicationsSE will continue to be a contested concept in the public sphere, however further research should explore the potential of dissensus from political reconstructions as a powerful counter‐discourse.Originality/valueThis study is among the first to utilise CDA to interrogate SE discourse, and the analysis provides novel insights for academics and practitioners to reinterpret and contest SE as more than the solution for failing public services.
