<p>Wayang as a pride of Javanese culture is well known not only for artistic dimension, but also for a spiritual dimension. It can be seen from a compositions of wayang characters, namely Bima. This research is a qualitative research that focuses on library research about Mahabharata books, Javanese culture (wayang), Walisongo, and dakwah. This research is data analysis that uses descriptive analysis, as an effort to describe and analyze the siprirtiual dimensions are manifested in aspects of dakwah and sufism in the construction of the Bima character. The results of this study indicate that the character of Bima shows the construction for dimensions of dakwah and Sufism. The dimension of dakwah lies in the process of islamization of Hindu that contained in wayang that finally changes the character and storyline of the wayang itself. While the dimension of Sufism is in the process of conveying the values of Sufism, such as in the depiction of the soul (nafs) and manunggaling Kawula Gusti in the Dewaruci play.</p><p> </p>

This research is a library research with a qualitative research approach. Data analysis used in the research is content and descriptive analysis. And the object of data tracking uses literature studies such as books, journals, articles and other literatures related with the materials in this study. In this research it is explained some cases related with Islamic education. So far Islamic education has been always identified with a forum that only offers and presents Islamic studies and it is considered allergic to general materials, one of them is the material of Democracy. So, in this research the researcher tries to raise the internalization of democracy in Islamic education. The research aims to contribute positively to Islamic education in Indonesia so that the practice of democracy in Islamic education can be running well.The conclusion of this research shows that the practice of democracy in Islamic education hasn't been perfect. As a comparison, in this study the researcher presents a form of education in abroad that has tried early to internalize the concept of democracy into Islamic education. There are three countries that have succeeded in internalizing democratic practices into Islamic education. They are Islamic education in Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey. These countries are proper to be comparison studies because the practice of democracy in education is running smoothly and perfectly.

This paper tries to explain the important picture of the space that was wanted to be created by a common desire, which previously Indonesian people were still locked by colonialism. The space to be created is an independent and independent state, but how is it created? there must be a fierce struggle and debate in producing a country that can be picked dynamically. The author departs from qualitative research, where the data is obtained from library research in the form of descriptive analysis. Stages of data analysis in this study include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The conclusion is that the basic debate and form of the state is the struggle for political space to dominate the country, but the struggle and debate is a necessity because it has already happened before independence Indonesia. So for researchers that the debate and struggle over the political space of the Indonesian State is a result of the accommodation of historical independence at the same time it is very reasonable because the space produced is a democratic space. It's just that it needs to be emphasized that every dynamics should be in accordance with the applicable constitution, not by means of radicalism.

The emergence of stories which had Islamic nuances in the puppet, known as  Walisongo’s creation. Walisongo with the intelligence to read the situation and conditions of society at that time, adopt and remodel stories in the puppet by inserting the teachings of Islam. One of the stories in the puppet is Mahabharata.Those changes used by Walisongo as media of dakwah, so that becomes the problem in this research is how the development of Mahabharata story   after Walisongo. The research had the purposes to know the development of Mahabharata story after Walisongo use it to propagate of Islam in Java, which has been inserted the teachings of Islam.<br /><br />This study is a qualitative research that focuses on the study of literature (library research) about the books Mahabharata, the Javanese culture (puppet), Walisongo, and dakwah. As well as data analysis in this research using descriptive analysis, an attempt to describe and analyze the development of Mahabharata after Walisongo and the continuer use it in the context of the spread of Islam in Java.<br /><br />The results showed that the development of Mahabharata story after Walisongo include: first, the Pandavas symbolized as pillars of Islam, in order to facilitate the public in the first time in knowing and understanding the five pillars of Islam. Second, the story polyandry character Draupadi in Mahabharata Hindu had changed by Walisongo into  monoandri,  because  Islam  prohibits  women  married  to  more than one males (polyandry). Third, the Heroine figure in the Hindu Mahabharata was transsexual then turned into a real woman, because in Islam are not allowed to violate their nature, are men who resemble women and women who resemble men. Fourth, the priest Drona good role models and wisely changed to a negative figure, interpreted as the views lowly clergy who abide the king. Fifth, Punakawan figure which is the native Java and then interpreted as a demonstration Walisongo or da’i. Sixth, comes pedigree Hindu god be the descendants of Prophet Adam to eliminate idolatry. Seventh, the emergence of new stories bouquet of the trustees containing the teachings of Islam, such as the story Dewaruci, amulets Kalimasada, mustaka Weni and Petruk Dadi Ratu.<br /><br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------<br /><br />Munculnya kisah-kisah dalam pewayangan yang bernuansa Islam diketahui merupakan karya Walisongo. Walisongo dengan kepandaian membaca situasi dan kondisi masyarakat waktu itu, mengadopsi dan merombak cerita-cerita dalam pewayangan dengan menyisipkan ajaran-ajaran Islam di dalamnya. Salah satu cerita dalam pewayangan yaitu cerita Mahabharata. Perubahan-perubahan tersebut merupakan pemanfaatan media dakwah oleh Walisongo, sehingga yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pengembangan cerita Mahabharata setelah adanya Walisongo. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan cerita Mahabharata setelah digunakan Walisongo dalam rangka penyebaran ajaran Islam di Jawa yang telah disisipkan ajaran Islam.<br /><br />Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang memfokuskan diri pada studi kepustakaan (library research) mengenai buku-buku Mahabharata, budaya Jawa (pewayangan), Walisongo, dan dakwah. Penelitian ini analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, sebagai upaya untuk menguraikan dan menganalisis pengembangan cerita Mahabharata setelah digunakan Walisongo dan penerusnya dalam rangka penyebaran ajaran Islam di Jawa.<br /><br />Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan cerita Mahabharata setelah adanya Walisongo meliputi: pertama, Pandawa disimbolkan sebagai rukun Islam, agar memudahkan masyarakat pada waktu dulu dalam mengetahui dan memahami lima pilar agama Islam. Kedua, cerita poliandri tokoh Drupadi dalam cerita Mahabharata Hindu dirubah Walisongo menjadi monoandri, karena Islam melarang wanita menikah dengan lebih dari satu laki-laki (poliandri). Ketiga, tokoh Srikandi yang dalam Mahabharata Hindu merupakan waria kemudian berubah menjadi perempuan sejati, karena Islam tidak memperbolehkan menyalahi kodratnya, yaitu pria yang menyerupai perempuan dan perempuan  yang  menyerupai  pria.  Keempat,  pendeta  Drona  tokoh panutan yang baik dan bijaksana dirubah menjadi tokoh negatif, dimaknai sebagai pandangan hina rohaniawan yang tunduk kepada raja. Kelima, dimunculkannya tokoh Punakawan yang merupakan asli Jawa kemudian dimaknai sebagai peraga Walisongo atau da’i. Keenam, muncullah silsilah dewa Hindu yang menjadi keturunan dari Nabi Adam untuk menghilangkan kemusyrikan. Ketujuh, munculnya cerita- cerita baru karangan para wali yang mengandung ajaran-ajaran Islam, seperti cerita Dewaruci, Jimat Kalimasada, Mustaka Weni, dan Petruk Dadi Ratu.<br /><br />

Character education is considered the best solution to produce excellent students in character, personality and uphold the nation's noble values. Through local wisdom in each area, such as the Dongkrek dance culture, it is important to understand and improve character education in students. Therefore, it is necessary to explore more deeply character education based on local wisdom by exploring the Dongkrek dance culture to internalize character values in learning art in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the character education of Dongkrek dance and efforts to internalize it in learning arts in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research using descriptive analysis and a library research approach. Five main character educations are explored in the Dongkrek dance, including religion, cooperation, nationalism, independence, and integrity. Meanwhile, efforts to internalize it into art learning are by understanding the contents of the dance, performing, and developing the Dongkrek dance into a show.

The study in this manuscript discusses the impact on the educational equalization system of Pesantren Salafiyah and designs how Pesantren Salafiyah has always existed in the world of modern education. This research belongs to the type of qualitative study using the document analysis method. The form of data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The research approach method in this paper is library research. This study is divided into four methods, namely, the method of determining the subject, the form of the study, the method of data collection, and the method of data analysis. The result is the ability of Pesantren Salafiyah to make certain accommodations and concessions to find a pattern that they consider appropriate enough to face modernization and changes that are increasingly fast and have a broad impact without sacrificing the essence and other basic things in the existence of the pesantren, so that Pesantren Salafiyah still exists in the midst of the hustle and bustle of modernizing Islamic education

Abstract: This study aims to determine the function of the sun in the perspective of science and al-Qur'an . The research method used is qualitative research methods with the type of research library (Library Research). This research applies data analysis technique of Milles and Huberman model, with steps: 1) data reduction; 2) data display; 3) verification. The result of this research is, the theories that science explain related to the function of the sun in accordance with what is also described in the Qur'an. Science explains that the sun as the greatest source of light for the earth can produce its own energy. This is explained in the Qur'an that the sun is described as siraj and dhiya' which means sunlight is sourced from itself, as the center of the solar system is not static but also moves this matter in the Qur'an explained in QS Yāsin verse 38, besides science and the Qur'an also equally explain that the sun can be made as a calculation of time.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi matahari dalam perspektif sains dan al-Qur’an..Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian pustaka (Library Research). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data model Milles dan Huberman, dengan langkah-langkah: 1) reduksi data; 2) display data; 3) verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, teori-teori yang sains jelaskan berkaitan dengan fungsi matahari sesuai dengan apa yang juga di jelaskan dalam al-Qur’an. Sains menjelaskan bahwa matahari sebagai sumber energi cahaya terbesar bagi bumi dapat menghasilkan energinya sendiri hal ini dijelaskan dalam al-Qur’an bahwa matahari dideskripsikan sebagai siraj dan dhiya’yang berarti sinar matahari bersumber dari dirinya sendiri, sebagai pusat tata surya matahari tidaklah statis melainkan juga bergerak hal ini dalam al-Qur’an di jelaskan dalam QS Yāsin ayat 38, selain itu sains dan al-Qur’an juga sama-sama menjelaskan bahwa matahari  dapat di jadikan sebagai perhitungan waktu serta petunjuk dari bayang-bayang.

This study aims to describe and reveal the presentation form of Galombang dance at a wedding party in Jorong Koto Kociak Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district. This is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The object of the research was Galombang dance at a wedding party in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district and was focused on the form of its presentation. The data were collected through literature review, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done by using triangulation technique which compared the data from observation to those from interview and documentation data. The results of the study generally show that the Galombang dance is performed in groups by11 dancers. It is performed for eight minutes in front of the bride's house, and it is performed at noon after the procession. Interestingly, the Galombang dance in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talag village, is performed by 50 year-old dancers and over (elderly). The presentation form of Galombang Dance at a Wedding Party in Jorong Koto Kociak, Tujuah Koto Talago village, Guguak sub-district, Lima Puluh Kota district is a representational form.The elements of the presentation form of this dance are as follows: (1) The motion of respect, the opening motion, the maagiah kaba motion, the maimbau motion, the basuluah motion, the bagalanggang motion, and silang jentik motion. (2) the Galombang Dance uses a floor pattern of two rows backwards and three carano bearers.(3) The music that accompanies the Galombang dance consists of: bansi, gandang, talempong, and tambourine. (4) The property of Galombang Dance isa carano. (5) The make-up used is pretty makeup. The dancers wear baju kuruang basiba, skirts, scarves, tikuluak kompong and accessories such as necklaces. This study aims to describe the meaning of Alang Suntiang Pangulu dance in Padang Laweh village, Sungai Pua district, Agam regency. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The object of this research was Alang Suntiang Pangulu dance in Padang Laweh village, Sungai Pua district, Agam regency. The main instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by tools such as stationery and cameras to collect data in the field. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by reducing the data, describing the data, and making conclusion.The results show that Alang Suntiang Pangulu dance describes lessons about things a Pangulu (a leader) uses to maintain his crown or honor. These are found in Alang Suntiang Pangulu dance which gives textual meanings elaborated through motion, floor patterns, music, dancers, make-up, performance, and venues. This study aims to reveal the procedures for presenting Persembahan Bungo dance in a guest welcoming event in Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This is a qualitative research resulting descriptive analysis data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted bycollecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusion. The results show that Persembahan Bungo dance has parts and sequences in each presentation. They are preparation before performing, initial stage, during the performance, and the end of the performance.Persembahan Bungo dance has 9 movements: Sembah Penghormatan, gerak selamat datang, sembah paduko, lenggang, putri malu, berinai, limbai, zapin bungo, and mambuko pagar ayu. The rules for performing Persembahan Bungo dance are compiled by custom or according to the customary rules in Bungo Regency, are in accordance with the motto of Bungo Regency, and pay attention to the values in a reception. For example, in the rule of washing betel, the betel must be washed first by the queen. This symbolizes cleanliness, purity, and respect for the welcomed guests by people of Bungo regency.Keywords: presentation, bungo dance, guest welcome
