This study aims to analyze the strategy of developing Riau Malay woven fabrics’ competitiveness and what factors predominantly influence efforts to develop the sustainable competitive advantage of the Riau malay weaving industry based on local wisdom of Malay fabrics in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique chosen was using a purposive sampling of 14 SMEs of Riau Malay woven fabric in Pekanbaru. SWOT analysis was applied as an analysis tool. This research is more in looking at the Riau Malay woven fabric craftsmen based on their ethnic abilities to differ from previous research. The research findings show aspects of product strength consisting of authenticity values of motifs/patterns based on typical regional philosophies not possessed by other regions as a cultural identity. Human resources’ knowledge and skills in producing Riau Malay Weaving fabrics inimitable, and there is no substitute for being a force that will not quickly transfer to other companies.

This research is focused on Batik businessmen or craftsmen in Banyumas Regency, to examine the improvement of HR competency towards performance and sustainability achievement. This study uses purposive sampling technique and there are 52 samples collected. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regressions. The results of this study indicate that partially knowledge has a significant effect on Performance and Sustainability, skills does not affect Performance, but affect Sustainability. Ability has a significant effect on Performance and Sustainability. The variables of knowledge, skills, and abilities have 43,4 % effect on performance and have 48,2 % effect on sustainability. The results of the study indicate that batik business and craftsmen have the potential to develop and to manage HR competencies in a more directed and more optimal manner. HR competency has a strategic role in creating performance which will ultimately be a sustainable competitive advantage

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of innovation orientation and entrepreneurship on the competitive advantage of culinary MSMEs in the Cilandak Barat area, South Jakarta. The population used for this study was 36 actors in the culinary field of SMEC. The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling method. The data analysis tool used is PLS 3.0. The results of this study indicate that the innovation variable has a significant influence on the culinary competitiveness of SMEC. And, entrepreneurial orientation has a significant influence on the culinary competitiveness of SMEC. This study aimed to find out the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, innovation and marketing capabilities on competitive advantage. The research population comprised Fish Processing Business in Semarang City. The sample was selected by means of the purposive sampling technique. The sample was 100 companies. The data were collected by a questionnaire, interviews, and documentation. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique using AMOS 24.0 analysis tool. The test results using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques indicate that the model is in accordance with population data. The results of the study showed that entrepreneurship oriented , innovation and marketing capabilities had a significant positive effect on competitive advantage. Used by analyzer for example validity test, test reliabilitas, and hipotesis test use modelling equation structural (SEM).

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, marketing capabilities, market orientation, and technological innovation partially or collectively on competitive advantage. To find out and analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, marketing capabilities, market orientation, and technological innovation on competitive advantage either partially or collectively. The population in this study amounted to 330 MSEs Batik entrepreneurs in Central Java, divided into 2 cities and 3 districts, namely the city of Surakarta and the city of Pekalongan, as well as Sragen, Sukoharjo, and Pekalongan districts. The research method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The research design used explanatory research and descriptive research through survey and questionnaire approaches. The analysis used in this research is the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The statistical analysis tool used was LISREL 8.70. Based on the research results, the following research findings are as follows entrepreneurial orientation, marketing capability, market orientation, and technological innovation partially or collectively have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. Technological innovation is partially the variable with the greatest contribution value to competitive advantage. This article is used to examine the impact of HRMP to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) in organizations. The hypotheses that HRMPs influences SCA imply that control of distinctive processes of human resources management (HRM) in industrial companies implies distinct factors of SCA. As a result, new questionnaires were developed and disseminated to 50 companies (200 top and middle managers) in Jordan in a survey format. The collected data was subjected to several simple regression tests using an SPSS program. The research findings presented that different processes of HRM, depending on acquisition, recruitment, training, evaluation performance, and promotion. There has been a strong interest in competing to achieve the highest SCA. The implications of the findings were discussed and suggestions were made.

<p><em>Textile in the life of the Savu is not only understood as a work of art but as a marker of the Sabu genealogical identity which is divided into two. Hubi ae is for sister's bloodline while hubi is for sister's bloodline. This is where the role of patterns and compositions (motifs) in woven fabrics. Sabu people can find out the origin of the users of woven cloth simply by looking at the motives that exist in the weaving that is used. The purpose of this writing is to explore the understanding of the younger generation of diaspora methamphetamine about their eating of motifs in the woven fabric of Sabu in Kupang City. The author uses qualitative research methods by conducting interviews with young gerenasi, parents, traditional leaders who live in the city of Kupang. Based on the data obtained, the authors found that cultural memory in the narrative of woven cloth as an identity is not interpreted as it should be due to the influence of globalization and the crisis of cultural identity. The author also sees that the government has enacted policies in dealing with an identity crisis, such as the use of woven cloth on certain days and empowering weavers in the regions. The author also proposes several efforts that must be carried out by the government that responds to the needs of the younger generation that are synonymous with technological developments such as making official websites for access to accurate and valid information</em><em>.</em></p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong><em>Young Generation; Globalization; Cultural Identity; Cultural Memory; Textile.</em><strong></strong></p><h2> </h2><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tekstil dalam kehidupan orang Sabu tidak hanya dipahami sebagai sebuah karya seni melainkan sebagai penanda identitas genealogis orang Sabu yang terbagai dua.  Hubi ae untuk garis keturunan kakak sedangkan hubi iki untuk garis keturunan adik. Disinilah peran dari pola dan komposisi (motif) dalam kain tenunan. Orang Sabu dapat mengetahui asal dari pemakai kain tenun cukup dengan melihat motif yang ada dalam tenun yang digunakan. Penulisan ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pemahaman generasi muda sabu diaspora mengenai pemakanaan mereka terhadap simbol motif dalam kain tenunan Sabu di Kota Kupang. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara kepada gerenasi muda, orang tua, tokoh adat yang tinggal di kota Kupang. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, penulis menemukan bahwa memori budaya dalam narasi kain tenun sebagai identitas tidak dimaknai sebagaimana seharusnya disebabkan karena pengaruh globalisasi dan krisis identitas budaya. Penulis juga melihat bahwa pemerintah telah memberlakukan kebijakan-kebijakan dalam menghadapi krisis identitas, seperti pemakaian kain tenun pada hari-hari tertentu dan memberdayakan para penenun di daerah-daerah. Penulis juga mengusulkan beberapa upaya yang harus dilakukan pemrintah yang menjawab kebutuhan generasi muda yang identik dengan perkembangan teknologi seperti pembuatan website resmi untuk akses informasi yang akurat dan valid.<em></em></p><p><strong>Kata kunci :</strong><strong> </strong>Generasi Muda; Globalisasi; Identitas Kultural; Memori Budaya; Tekstil.<strong><em></em></strong></p>

Abstract: Competition in the business world in Indonesia in the era of globalization is very strict at the national, regional and international levels. The success of SMEs in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of government and SMEs themselves in an effort to develop SME business activities to achieve competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the differentiation strategy of Baduy’s woven fabrics as an effort to gain competitive advantage and alternative strategies that can be done to obtain a competitive advantage. Primary data is obtained by questionnaires and interviews with craft makers and local governments through the Department of Industry and Trade / SMI and the SME office. Secondary data is obtained from the Department of Industry and Trade. The technical data analysis used is descriptive quantitative method, through analysis of internal and external factors, SWOT analysis of matrix, space matrix and IE matrix. The results of the analysis using the SWOT matrix are obtained industrial position in an aggressive strategy alternative, by aggressive expansion and promotion. In Internal External Matrix (IE Matrix), results obtained from the position of the Baduy’s weaving industry are in quadrant V (five) with alternative concentration strategies through horizontal integration or stability strategies. SPACE Analysis matrix produces a position in quadrant I (one) with an aggressive strategy alternative. This research model is expected to be an input for the Lebak Regional Government for strategic alternatives in obtaining competitive advantages so that it can help increase the productivity of the Baduy tribe, and be able to contribute or add value in the family even in the regional economy. Objective - Determination of the performance factors of the small culinary business sector is an important aim of this research. The research also aims to analyze the interconnectedness between the factors which generate competitive advantage and improve the performance of small and medium-sized enterprise businesses. Methodology/Technique - Questionnaires were distributed to 115 such enterprises in the culinary field located in the city of Pekanbaru with the use of the cluster area a non-random sampling technique. In addition, a Likert scale was used to obtain responses from the participants, and the statistical analysis tool employed was PLS (Partial Least Squares). Findings - The research reveals that business networking and human resource competencies are factors that influence the business performance of small entrepreneurs in the culinary sector. However, competitive advantage does not influence the effect of human resource competence and business networking on business performance. Novelty - The variables studied in this culinary research field have not been comprehensively examined in previous studies. Type of Paper - Empirical.
