Abstract As a clean and renewable energy, hydropower holds an important place in energy development for every country. China has the richest hydropower resources with 541 GW technical exportable installed capacity, a 17% global share. Hydropower is a key point of energy conservation and comprehensive utilization of resources to ensure the sustainable development strategy of China. This paper investigates the hydropower development of China and provides a summary of the current situation of the development. Over the past 100 years, China's hydropower developed tremendously. The total installed capacity of hydropower is 341.19 GW by the end of 2017 and the installed capacity of small hydropower is 79.27 GW. By the end of June 2018, 33 pumped-storage power stations had been constructed and 32 are under construction. The total installed capacity of pumped-storage power is 72.64 GW. More development will be achieved in the next decades according to China's development strategy.

With the sustainable development strategy of our country attracting more and more attention, green projects are also designed to all kinds of industries, including construction. In the case of housing construction, the HVAC system is, to some extent, the most energy-intensive projects in the construction process. In order to meet the country’s sustainable development strategy to meet the practical require- ments of sustainable development, the need to green energy-saving environmental protection technology applied to the HVAC system, and the continuous development and popularization, from the country through the success of energy saving and envi- ronmental protection tech- nology to reduce the HVAC system of the energy con- sumption, which makes the building energy consumption to a minimum. HVAC works in the entire construction project have a pivotal role, so HVAC project green energy-saving design in the green building development indispensable. This paper explains the concept of green energy saving design of HVAC project and illustrates the key of green energy  saving  technology in HVAC design under construction industry. The paper analyzes the HVAC design of Guangzhou Library as an example.

To realize effective coordination between economy and energy as well as environment, Chinese government has set out a comprehensive objective to achieve 4 times GDP growth with only 2 times energy consumption and 10% emission reduction by 2020, hence the sustainable development strategic planning for energy is particularly vital. Based on the analysis of international environments and domestic conditions of energy development in China, this article has made a more systematical and deeper research in countermeasure for solving those identified problems. Finally, a series of in-depth strategies and suggestions on sustainable development for China’s energy are put forward.

The information of the “People's daily” newspaper about the countries of Central Asia is becoming more influential every year, and most often broadcasts international news. One of them is the sustainable development strategy of the Chinese side "One Belt - One Way," launched in 2013 and the publication "COVID - 19" about the global viral epidemic. At the same time, an important place is occupied by the fact that the countries of Central Asia pay special attention to each other’s politics, economy and culture, and information policy. As a way to improve the foreign policy relations of Kazakhstan and regulate the strategy of foreign policy relations, an analysis of information about the countries of Central Asia was carried out in the newspaper “People's daily”, it is important to study the relevance of the news of the representative of the Chinese media from the point of view of macro.

Evidence of how history and culture have been or should be harnessed to promote sustainability in remote and rural communities is mounting. To be sustainable, development must come from within, it must serve future generations as well as those in the present and it must attend to the vitality of culture, society, the economy and the environment. Historical research has an important contribution to make to sustainability, especially if undertaken collaboratively, by challenging and transcending the boundaries between disciplines and between the professional researchers, communities and organisations which serve and work with them. The Sustainable Development Goals’ motto is ‘leaving no one behind’, and for the 17 Goals to be met, there must be a dramatic reshaping of the ways in which we interact with each other and with the environment. Enquiry into the past is a crucial part of enabling communities, in all their shapes and sizes, to develop in sustainable ways. This article considers the rural world and posits that historical enquiry has the potential to deliver insights into the world in which we live in ways that allow us to overcome the negative legacies of the past and to inform the planning of more positive and progressive futures. It draws upon the work undertaken with the Landscapes and Lifescapes project, a large partnership exploring the historic links between the Scottish Highlands and the Caribbean, to demonstrate how better understandings of the character and consequences of previous development might inform future development in ways that seek to tackle injustices and change unsustainable ways of living. What we show is how taking charge of and reinterpreting the past is intrinsic to allowing the truth (or truths) of the present situation to be brought to the surface and understood, and of providing a more solid platform for overcoming persistent injustices.

Subject. After the collapse of the USSR, smaller countries chose different paths in their economic policy during the globalization and the multipolar world. The EU, USA and Russia made a palpable contribution to the economic policy of smaller countries. Some countries of the former USSR failed to find their course, while the others immediately followed their development strategy and stuck to it persistently. Objectives. I examine the economics of the monodirectional strategy of smaller countries of the former USSR. I also evaluate how the countries found their position among different leading countries as points of attraction. The study is based on the assumption that the single direction of the national development and adherence to the same point of attraction will ensure the sustainable development. However, the economic development level depends on the health of a certain economy as a point of attraction. Methods. The study is based on the systems approach, comparative and statistical methods for analyzing macroeconomic data series. Results. I investigated the dynamics of key macroeconomic data in the Republic of Belarus, Latvia and Estonia, such as GDP per capita in current values, unemployment rate and Purchasing Power Index. Given the current phase of globalization and multipolar world, it is crucial for smaller countries to choose a development strategy to follow persistently and achieve proper macroeconomic indicators that depend on the economic stability of counties they treat as their benchmarks. Conclusions and Relevance. I should mention the successful economic policy of Estonia and Latvia, which followed the same course as the other EU countries, as opposed to the Republic of Belarus tending to the policy of the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, the monodirectional development strategy also helps smaller countries ensure their economic stability.
