The article describes the development of the tourism industry on the use of tourism resources as the basis for the formation of the tourist product. The peculiarities of the formation of the tourism industry in Khmelnitsky region have been revealed. The definition of the concept of “tourism resources” has been offered. The list of nature monuments, historical and cultural monuments, and state reserves has been used. It is noted that historical-cultural and agricultural sights of the region are included in the State registry. The regional problems of tourism development and the reasons that hamper the development at the tourism industry have been analyzed. The implementation and realization of the program of tourism development in Khmelnytskyi region for 2013-2015 have been disclosed, it was developed in accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine “Of Tourism”, the regional development Strategy of Khmelnytsyi region for 2011-2020, the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “Of Approval of Strategy of Development of Tourism and Resorts”. Among other important factors restraining the development of the tourism industry relate to the marketing component of tourism policy, which should be called the underdevelopment of the information infrastructure of tourist business, which makes domestic and foreign tourists to quickly obtain useful information about tourist and recreational potential of Ukraine, book in advance and book travel services. The factors that constrain the development of the tourism industry have been shown. They relate to the marketing component of tourism policy and they are component of the development of the tourism industry in Khmelnytskyi region. The natural potential of the National Park “Podilski Tovtry” has been in details. Today, especially increase the importance of regional tourism policy, Khmelnytsky region is one of the perspective regions of tourism development our country. This is due to the favorable peculiarities of its geographical location, favorable climate, and rich natural resources, historical-cultural and tourist-recreational complex, which would satisfy the needs of the population in sanatorium-resort treatment, recreation and tourism.

This study aims to evaluate the results of tourism policies implementation in Bobale Island, Kakara Island, Tagalaya Island and Meti Island in North Halmahera District. The method used is qualitative methods, data collection techniques using the technique of in-depth interviews, observation and study of the documents. This study uses a model of George Edward III, results showed that the factors that affect the implementation of tourism policies are resources, communication, disposition and bureaucratic structure. Nonetheless, this study shows that public support through public participation also affect tourism policy implementation process. Thus, to consider the parameter level of community support or community participation as consideration attraction determine development priorities in the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan of North Halmahera District.

Tourism is one of the important sectors in the economic development of a country. This is evidenced by the revenue contribution of state revenues generated from the tourism sector. Indonesia under the leadership of President Joko Widodo Focused on the development of maritime shaft which one of the main concern is tourism. In the context of tourism, Indonesia has a fairly high appeal at the local and international level. Southeast Asia region incorporated in ASEAN is a good market for Indonesia in attracting the attention of ASEAN people to come and travel in Indonesia. Through joint strategy in regional tourism development, Indonesia is trying to implement ASEAN tourism policy known as ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (2011-2015) in domestic context through Indonesian tourism policy. The article substantiates the need to enhance the information support for tourism and hotel business which is currently associated with a range of information and methodological issues, such as the assessment of tourist flows; tourism and hotel market satisfaction, congruence between customer needs and supply in the tourist services market; assessing load infrastructure as well as anthropogenic effects on the environment; study on the state of industry development and measuring of its contribution into the total gross domestic product. The paper presents a research methodology to explore tourism and hotel business settings, in particular the regional tourist services market, based on the market environment evaluation, identification of factors affecting tourism actors’ performance efficiency and estimation of their impact on final economic outcomes. The above methodology involves a comprehensive approach to the application of theoretical and applied principles of sectoral and territorial analysis and aims at building the regional tourism policy key drivers. It is argued that in the context of new risks and challenges, modern Ukraine should pursue a robust constructive recreational and tourism policy. Depending on the level at which the policy is defined and implemented, this study makes out government policy, regional policy, and the policy of individual tourism and hotel businesses. As an effective solution, the findings suggest modeling a government recreational policy based on strategic planning which translates into a comprehensive document that includes analytical information and business forecasting, as well as an action plan including a set of activities and projects to be implemented by market participants in the tourism and hotel sector.
