Kata Kunci :  Optimalisasi, Spatter, DMAIC, Desain, Solidwork 2018 ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at one of the automotive spare part manufacturers PT. XYZ has a problem and is a serious concern on the welding part of the presence of defective products that can reduce the value and quality of the product so that many products are rejected by consumers because it does not comply with standards, where there is a lot of welding dirt (Spatter) which attaches to the Joint Exhaust Half Outer Comp product is a component of the muffler so as to reduce production productivity at the final inspection, the above problems are considered necessary to do research to find the cause of it. Several steps were taken to correct existing defects, namely the initial steps carried out observation and interviews to the production department, the method used for processing the observation data using the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve, Control), then optimization and modification of Jig Welding with redesign using the 2018 Solidwork software tool, then changing the position of the previous vertical jig to horizontal so that when welding Spatter does not directly fall into the Joint Exhaust and provide additional support to the Jig to reduce the number of Spatter attached to the Half Outer Comp. In this study the results obtained where the number of Spatter attached to the Joint Exhaust is greatly reduced and obtain better product results thereby increasing productivity in the previous final inspection section of 58.33% to 83.33%. Keywords : Optimization, Spatter, DMAIC, Design, Solidwork 2018

Abstract. During the last decades, settlement activities increased in European mountain regions. Due to the scarceness of areas suitable for development, residential estates were extended into areas endangered by natural hazards such as mass movements. These settlements generally show a considerable vulnerability to tangible assets. Integral risk management strategies to reduce the vulnerability to tangible assets are presented for the assessment of such endangered areas. Conventional mitigation and local structural measures are discussed with respect to the necessary delimitation of endangered areas, the preparedness of people and possible financial prevention. According to different natural hazard processes (flash floods with and without bedload transport, debris flows, land slides, rock falls and avalanches) and various structural elements of buildings, a catalogue of local structural measures is presented with respect to occurring process impacts and protection objectives. Thereby, different local structural measures are classified and recommended according to a possible implementation for newly-erected buildings and for upgrading existing buildings, respectively. Based on these recommendations, future needs for a sustainable and comprehensive reduction of risk in settlement areas endangered by mass movements are outlined. Above all, this includes a prescription of building codes and the re-introduction of an obligatory final inspection of buildings.

In the manufacturing industry, product quality control is often treated as a completely different problem than process diagnostics. Diagnostics methods are used to quickly identify faults during the process, whereas product quality is assessed at the final inspection stage, after the process is completed. The large amount of data that is collected to enable the on-line diagnostics, however, can be used to predict the product quality before the part is measured at the final inspection stage. This predicted quality can be used as feedback to a control system that improves the process quality by adjusting the process inputs. In this paper we propose a predictive inspection based process control solution for a manufacturing process. A manufacturing process is modelled as an input-output system with the machine settings as inputs and two kinds of outputs: diagnostic data and quality. This model is obtained from off-line experiments using a combination of process inputs and external disturbances. In the online implementation the predictive process model is updated with the diagnostic data collected during runtime and quality is improved by using a two-loop control strategy, on a part-to-part or run-to-run (R2R) basis. The proposed approach is applied to and developed for an end milling operation and simulation and experimental results are presented.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present the optimal double sampling attribute plan using the weighted Poisson distribution. Design/methodology/approach – For the given AQL and LQL, sum of producer’s and consumer’s risks have been attained. Based on the weighted Poisson distribution, the sum of these risks has been optimized. Findings – In the final inspection, the producer and the consumer represent the same party. So, the sum these two risks should be minimized. In this paper, the sum of risks has been tabulated using the weighted Poisson distribution for different operating ratios. These tabulated values are comparatively less than the sum of risks derived using Poisson distribution. Originality/value – The sampling plan presented in this paper is particularly useful for testing the quality of finished products in shop floor situations.

Abstract: Toilet Tissue, whitish, Young Women. Whitish in medical terms is called fluorine albus or leucorrhea is liquid released from the genitals. Whitish disease is a problem in women. Normal whitish discharge translucent color, no odor, does not itch and occur before menstruation and after menstruation, sexual stimulation, when a pregnant woman and a state of stress. Abnormal discharge of fluid that comes out cloudy and thick, stinking, rancid, fishy, itchy, fluid quantity many, yellowish or greenish. Behavioral habits that are not good personal hygiene will cause vaginal discharge. Behaviors that can reduce the whiteness using toilet paper after urinating. To determine differences in the use of toilet paper on the incidence of vaginal discharge in adolescent girls at school Veteran 1 Sukoharjo. The study design used was quasi exsperiment with Time Series Design study design is the design of the study using pretest posttest conducted by direct observation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 41 students who have signs of symptoms of vaginal discharge. Mc Nemar statistical test used to determine the effect on the incidence of vaginal discharge toilet paper. Before the treated (preliminary examination) most respondents experienced pathological vaginal discharge as many as 33 students (80.5%), after being given treatment using toilet paper (final inspection) of respondents who experience vaginal discharge pathology as many as 14 students (34.14%). Results of the study showed statistical tests p: 0.000, which means there is the effect of the use of toilet paper on the incidence of vaginal discharge. There is a distinction mark whitish symptoms before and after using toilet paper.

In this work, they going to use a foundry simulation software to compare the virtual vs real results and try to reduce the time of the real process in the foundry area. In the real process they work with the re-engineering process of the pistons, first they take the original element and take the physical properties (length, width, thicknesses, etc.), after make a cast design and is assigned some parameters for the process, planning the process to make a test, after the casting process it goes to the machining process and finally the final inspection says if all the process during the tests is correct, if not, we need to take others parameters or casting design. With this project is going to be possible to save time in the foundry area and make a virtual process to see the result and change all the necessary things to have a perfect process.
