This study presents the results of a review of seven international publications that discuss how technology can innovate distance learning during a pandemic crisis in remote areas in Indonesia. It cannot be denied that technology services are quite large in helping the learning of the nation's children all over Indonesia. However, we should cool off on educational researchers' findings, especially technology-based learning innovations, which are now increasingly being used in all business and educational activities of the younger generation. We have conducted a review of various literature. Then we continue with a review of ten publications on the role and impact of technology applications on the sustainability of learning in areas where internet networks are still tricky issues. To prove the claim, we conducted a qualitative analysis in a phenomenological and in-depth understanding to ensure that our findings were based on validity and reliability.

This study aims to describe the real threat of learning loss for underprivileged students and remote areas, due to school closures and distance learning in Riau Province, Indonesia. On the other hand, keeping students safe from the dangers of the COVID-19 virus is the main factor. Distance learning is a solution to this dilemma, but it is very difficult for underprivileged students and remote regions to implement, because: 1) Students have never used various educational technology platforms in distance learning 2) Do not have a smartphone and mobile data plans 3) Internet signal in remote areas is not good for distance learning. The results of this study describe, when distance learning was first implemented, as many as 75 % of 206 underprivileged students and ten schools experienced difficulties when using educational technology platforms for distance learning. However, after two years, there has been an increase in the participation of underprivileged students in distance learning. In addition, it has become a habit, subsidized mobile data plans from the government, adaptive curricula and variations in learning methods when distance learning, have become important factor in increasing the participation of underprivileged students and remote regions.

The objective of the research to identify the problems of applying the curriculum of art education developed in villages and remote areas from the point of view of parameters. The descriptive approach has been used, where the study population is one of the teachers of art education in villages and remote areas (34) teachers. The technical education room is not equipped with suitable equipment for the application of the curriculum of advanced art education such as ceramic ovens, washing machine washing tools, etc., the inability of the student to be able to From the provision of tools and raw materials to the absence of libraries in the villages, the absence of a teacher for the distance of residence from the village headquarters and the lack of appropriate educational activities in the curriculum of art education developed for the physical potential of the school environment. The most important recommendations are: Providing a special bag for girls from remote villages and areas containing all necessary to apply the curriculum of art education to take into account their economic circumstances. Holding training courses for teachers of art education on the developed curriculum and how to teach it and adapt it to the rural environment and how to find alternatives to tools from the local environment. Developed as a pilot phase in villages and remote areas and include the curriculum with free educational activities; chosen by the teacher in proportion to the environment and nature of students.

Physics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic must still be done so that students can still get physics intake. This phenomenological research aims to explore physics teacher strategies in conducting traditional game-based learning in senior high schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research data was collected through in-depth interviews with 10 physics teachers from five senior high schools in Yogyakarta. The ten participants were taken using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used analytic reduction which started with identifying important statements from the interview results, determining the core theme, and interpreting the physics learning strategy essence. The research results found that traditional game-based physics learning was carried out using contextual, inquiry, project, and problem-based learning models. The physics material is integrated into traditional games which include tulup, benthik, bekelan, sulamanda, egrang, sekongan, jeblugan, and gobak sodor. Physics learning evaluation is carried out by assessing assignments, performance, presentations, tests, and the results of making students' traditional games. Traditional game-based physics learning is done through distance learning applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Google Mail, and WhatsApp. Supporting factors for learning physics based on traditional games include efficient learning, learning can be done anywhere, and students can explore their abilities widely. Inhibiting factors for learning physics based on traditional games include unstable internet networks, students’ different abilities, and never done distance learning. The physics teacher’s competence, the student’s abilities, and the facilities availability are the main factors in determining the learning physics success based on traditional games during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This essay looks at the real revolution that has taken place since March 2020 in educational activities for Pre-Service Teachers for Students with Special Needs.Starting from only partly tested previously in distance learning, universities have had to quickly redesign lessons, workshops, final tests, and, in some cases, selective testing by moving them online. How much of this unquestionable educational emergency can be transformed into new opportunities? To answer the question, the essay takes the points of view of both the TFA Course’s coordination work supporting a small university and a rather significant number of students (1367 in total). A survey questionnaire expressed some, at times, surprising viewpoints.

An understanding of the relationships among the integration of computer technology by women educators in higher education and effective teaching could have a significant impact on education. Pennsylvania Universities and Colleges have made their commitment to educational technology and provided support for the implementation of such technology. Currently, we have little empirical evidence to show that the use of computer technology by women educators actually does improve learning. Incumbent upon this commitment to educational technology, women educators have a right to ask if their investment of time and effort in learning how to use and implement the technology will produce significant benefits for their students. This research developed a survey instrument to rank statements and gain an understanding of the perceptions of women in higher education concerning the integration of computer technology and teacher effectiveness. The methods used to develop the instrument involved the analysis of relevant research, construction of appropriate items, identification of the population sample, validity and reliability, and pilot testing. The population under study was limited to two Colleges and one University in Northeastern Pennsylvania during the spring and fall semesters of 2007. The results indicated that the women surveyed felt teacher effectiveness is most strongly associated with the availability of technology tools to collect data for the purposes of instructional planning.  Conversely, participants felt that teacher effectiveness was not strongly associated with lesson sequences that integrate technology resources, implementation of procedures consistent with school policies that protect the privacy of electronic student data, and demonstration of ethical behaviors regarding the use of technology.

Technical universities that carry out educational activities in the field of transport training and specialization have accumulated rich experience of modern teaching technologies. The final result of specific competence developing can be achieved only on the basis of a number of intermediate results in the learning of several disciplines through the implementation of multi-disciplinary projects. Multi - disciplinary projects implementation allows to develop the graduate qualification work more efficiently and in a short term. Of great importance in preparation of graduates in the field of transport specialization are the connection of education, science and operation. Creation of a practice-oriented educational process ensures the efficiency and attraction of the education for the all involved participants.

The high academic posture of Gulf Private School (GPS) and its outstanding students’ performance in the gulf region is a translation of its vision to be the leading school in the region. Technology applications were always viewed by GPS as tools to leverage change and drive continuous improvement, and thus, the utilization of Information Technology applications was weaved into GPS strategy to maintain its high ranking among private schools in terms of the delivery of quality education and the provision of distinguished services to students and parents. This positive attitude to new technologies explains why GPS is always on the lookout for the latest advancements in educational technology aids and tools to support its functions and processes. This case reflects on the ups and downs associated with GPS decision to implement an ERP system with a promise for major business gains that can help GPS to reinstate its position in the leaders’ quadrant.
