The description and understanding of the learning has changed significantly over time and is still in its transformational modern stage, which necessitates exploration and investigation of the pros and cons of innovative changes in the field of education. Some teachers resist those changes and do not feel comfortable teaching through or with mobile technology as they do not want to look incompetent when they are unable to troubleshoot. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the methodology of qualitative studies conducted on the integration of mobile technology in language classroom and teachers’ attitudes towards using technology in teaching. The paper aims at examining 15 studies published in educational journals between 2006 and 2016. The purpose of this article is to provide information and data that will contribute to the enhancement of teaching methodologies for online learning and teaching at all educational levels and disciplines (including adult education). More specifically, it attempts to shed light on media trends and prospects as educational activities and techniques, as well as on the utmost importance of the use of television content as audiovisual educational content. This venture focuses on the cases of Cyprus and Greece following literature materials and reviews, research results, and findings of previous numerous studies and research papers from and through the Internet that were considered as background. The aforementioned were applied in a pilot case study with adult educators as adult learners (18 years and older), providing literature data and historical elements as a source of further study. The findings from the pilot case study revealed that the television content can also shape (adult) learners’ perceptions on how they understand and learn in an online environment in regard to the generational cohort they belong. Furthermore, the results disclosed that an online educational process utilizing audiovisual media technologies and audiovisual content (audiovisual media communications) may support technology-enhanced learning through non-verbal communication in the new streamlined digital era in which we live. An important conclusion of this article is that the (inter)national genealogical characteristics and habits, the inherent and special characteristics, and the socio-cultural identity of learners, as well as the various (inter)national social-phenomena (e.g., media socio-phenomenon, Internet phenomenon, revival phenomenon, etc.) of the past and present, should always be taken into account by education administrators and educators, in order to maintain a quality and sustainable future education.

Responding to identified shortcomings is components of the internal quality assurance system of a higher education institution. A study of the educational activities of future teachers-engineers of computer profile found that most students are not going to devote their career to teaching, thus preferring engineering. Undoubt- edly, higher education institutions must respond to the requests of stakeholders, especially those seeking higher education. On the other hand, there are requests from employers (educational institutions) for teachers-engineers of computer profile. Therefore, further research was aimed at enhancing cognitive activity primarily by increasing motivation for pedagogical activity. Methods: pedagogical experiment. Results. An experimental test of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for intensifying the educational activities of future teachers-engineers of computer profile in professional training. Originality. The results of the study testify to the effec- tiveness of certain pedagogical conditions for intensifying the educational activities of future teachers-engineers of computer profile: changes of external motivation to internal will take place if the information and communication technologies are introduced into educational process of studying peda- gogical disciplines; change of position in the educational activity of future teachers-engineers of computer profile in the study of pedagogical disciplines will take place under the condition that students apply a project approach to the organization of their own educational activity; intensification of educational activity due to its correc- tion in future teachers-engineers of computer profile in the process of operative feedback at each stage of educational activity. Comparative analysis of experimental data shows an increase in the percentage of students of the experimental group compared to the control group with a high level of educational activities of future teachers-engineers of com- puter profile in the study of pedagogical disciplines for a stable active position of educational activity – by 34%, internal motivation to study – by 32%, by the ability to plan and organize their own educational trajectory – by 32%, by academic performance – by 25%). When comparing the results before and after the ex- periment: in the control group the empirical values of the criterion χ2 are less than critical, the characteristics of the compared groups coincide at the level of significance of 0.05; in experimental group the empirical values of the criterion χ2 are greater than the critical one, the signifi- cance of the difference in the characteristics of the com- pared groups is 95%.

Students' motivation is studied quite regularly, but most often it occurs from psychological and pedagogical positions [1; 6; 7; 9]. However, students do not just go to university, they work to acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for the development of their future profession, so the learning process must be viewed through the prism of work motivation. The peculiarity of this research is the reliance on research methods that allow us to study this aspect of students’ activity, in particular, the V.I. Gerchikov’s method with some changes that are inevitable due to the specifics of an educational process. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors that affect the motivation of educational activities. The theoretical part of the study describes the main approaches to motivating students' learning activities, as well as the specifics of relationships in the process of studying at the university, which does not allow direct use of methods and practices that have appeared in the framework of theories of labor motivation. As a result of the research conducted in 2019 on the main massif of the 1st and 4th years of full-time education in the Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy by questionnaire (n=781), significant differences in the motivation of students of different groups and faculties were revealed, which allowed us to assume that there are problems in the educational process, which we have not previously recorded. To determine the causes of significant differences in the motivation of individual groups, focus group studies were conducted (n=92) in 6 study groups, where 2 with low average motivation, 2 with middle average motivation, 2 with high average motivation. The authors analyzed the reasons for failure and non-attendance of classes, the organization of the educational process, the specifics of relationships in groups, the impact of the division into subcultures on the learning process and relationships in a group, leisure-time of students, their ideas about the desired changes in the educational process.
