The objectives of the study were: (1) to formulate a multimedia-based integrated learning model of concrete construction and entrepreneurship and, (2) to measure the improvement of the students’ entrepreneurial spiritby implementing this developed integrated learning model in the classroom. This study was classified as a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. A pretest, treatment, andposttest were presented to the experimental and control groups. This study was conducted in 8 meetings at the Stone Installation and Concrete Constructionworkshop, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Data were collected through tests to measure students' competence in entrepreneurship and Concrete Construction. The Concrete Construction skills were measured through product assessment. Testing of the validity and the reliability of the instruments used expert judgment and Cronbach Alpa respectively. Data were analyzed with a statistical t-test, with consideration of (a) the data normality, and (2) the homogeneity for the variance of each data group. This study concluded: (1) the integrated learning model was successfully formulated (2) there were positive and significant differences in the students' entrepreneurial spirit between the students treated with the developed integrated learning model and the students treated with the conventional learning model.

This research aims to analyze the learning model's practice and its effect on increasing student activity and learning outcomes in listening subjects. This study employed quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The data were gained using observation and tests. It is analyzed by reflection and statistical test of SPPS. The results show that the application of the AMETTA learning model effectively develops student learning activities and outcomes. The result of hypothesis testing with sig. (2-tailed) was 0.033 (˂ 0.05) It indicates that Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes. In other words, the application of AMETTA learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate, (1) the influence of constructivist metacognitive model compared to constructivist novick, and conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) the influence of academic achievement toward critical thinking, and (3) interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking. The sample of this study consisted of 102 eleventh grade student from 3 state senior high schools in Surakarta. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Anacova was used to analyze the data. Critical thinking test was administered to the experimental and the control group as pre and post-tests to measure the critical thinking. The result showed that, (1) constructivist metacognitive and constructivist novick are not significantly different but those are significantly different from the conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) Upper academic students have higher critical thinking than lower academic students, (3) There is not interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking

This research aims at developing Speaking Skill through Interview. Its method was quasi-experimental research non-equivalent control group design. Its population was the students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Palu, in which consists of thirteen parallel classes. The experimental class consists of 29 students and control class consists of 30 students. It was done in eight meetings. The variables of this research were speaking skill and interview. The samples of this research were students of grade VIII C and VIII D, selected through cluster sampling technique. Its results indicate that the application of interview has overcome the students’ problem. After analyzing them, the result of t-counted was 10.01. By applying degree of freedom (df) 57(29+30-2), and the level significant 0.05, the value of t-table was 2.00. So,  the value of t-counted was higher than t-table. It means that the hypothesis of this research was accepted. Thus, the interview can be applied to develop speaking skill of students grade VIII  at  SMP Negeri 1 Palu.

<p>This research is aimed to find out:  (1) the differences learning outcomes between project based learning aided edmodo model  and conventional learning (2) the effectiveness of using project based learning model to increase learning outcomes of two dimentional animation techniques. This research used quasi experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research are students of class XI 1 and XI 3 multimedia program of Vocation High School Batik 2 Surakarta with 70 students. The technique of data collection used test to find out cognitive value and observation to find out affective and psychomotor values. The data analysis used were t-test formula and gain index analysis. The result showed that : (1) there was difference learning outcomes between project based learning model and conventional learning model at eleventh grade students of vocational high school Batik 2 Surakarta which shown by t_count= 4,435 cognitive, t_count= 2,175 affective, t_count  = 2,344 psychomotor were bigger that t_table = 1,995. (2) project based learning is more effective than conventional learning model to increase learning outcomes of two dimentional animation techniques which shown by gain index analisys, at experiment class obtained 0,587 and control class obtained 0,369.</p>

The goals of this research are to find the difference of mean the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcome Simulation and Communication Digital due to implementation of POE learning model compare to learning model PRP . This research is using quasi experimental design through the type of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The hypothesist will be tested using Independent Sample of T-test. The result of this research showed that the mean difference test of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive obtained a significance of 0.006, while the psychomotor learning outcomes obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the average difference, the learning model that is superior to cognitive and psychomotor is the POE learning model.

Lesson material presented in the form of data or facts and specific concepts on expository learning model helps learners to connect new material with material that precedes it, so organizers help is provided to instill meaningful learning. This study aims to determine the difference of influence of the implementation of learning model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer expository. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and quasi experimental research uses non-equivalent control group design with pre-test-and post-test. The results obtained from the classroom given the treatment of expository learning model assisted by advance organizer and post organizer have the same tendency improvement. In both classes there is a relatively similar increase in the mastery of the previous concept, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no difference of influence between expository model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer to the mastery of work and energy concepts of learners.

The research aimed to find out the effectiveness of describing and drawing picture technique in teaching transactional speaking at the second semester students of English Education Department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. This research employed quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the second semester students of English education department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. The population was selected by using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample for experimental class and control class. The instrument used in this research was test. The test was used in the pre-test and post-test. The data indicated that there was a significant difference between the students’ post-test in the experimental class and post-test in the control class. Based on the findings of the research, the researchers concluded that describing and drawing picture technique was effective in teaching transactional speaking. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 5E inquiry learning activities on students’ achievement, attitude toward chemistry. A non-equivalent control group design was used to the quasi-experimental research in this study. A total of 34 (8 males and 26 females) undergraduates in Turkey voluntarily participated in the study. The 5E Inquiry Learning Activities were applied to the experimental group and lecture-based traditional activities were applied to the control group. The both two groups were taught by the same instructor and used same books. The Chemical Equilibrium Concept Test (CECT) and the Attitude toward the Subject of Chemistry Inventory (ASCI) were applied to both groups as pre-test and post-test. The results of the study revealed that 5E inquiry learning activities were more effective in improving the achievement in chemical equilibrium compared to lecture-based traditional activities. In addition, the results showed that there was no statistically significant mean difference between experimental and control groups with respect to attitude toward chemistry.

The aim of this study is to find the effect of Describe and Draw game towards students’ speaking competence at SMAN 2 Gerung. This study used a quasi-experimental with post-test only non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was second-grade students of SMAN 2 Gerung. The writer took two classes chosen as experimental group and control group. Experimental group was treated by using Describe and Draw game and control group was treated by using Word Match game. Based on the result of the study, it was found that Describe and Draw Game has a significant effect towards students’ speaking competence at SMAN 2 Gerung.

This research is a quasi-experimental aims to identify the effect of problem-based learning model using virtual simulation media towards the students’ concept mastery and creativity in physics. The design of this research used of non-equivalent control group design, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population of this research is all students of grade X SMAN 2 Mataram, while the sampling are the students of grade X-3 as the experimental group and the students of grade X-4 as control group. The data obtained in this research is  data mastery of concept and creativity. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test polled variances. The test result showed that the N-gain mastery of concepts has increased in each sub material and the highest increase in the sub matter theory of electromagnetic waves. Values of N-gain experimental group in the high category (71%) and control group in the medium category (53%). T-test showed that the model is applied to significant influence on improving students’ mastery of concepts and creativity, higher in the experimental group compared with the control group. Increased figural creativity higher than verbal creativity in both classes
