The growing populations of students to higher institution is increasing year by year, therefore, it is important to ensure that the building is well functioned throughout its lifecycle. Inevitably, the educational process may be interrupted if the building experience a poor performance conditions, thus affect the students’ academic achievement. Many studies have proved that there is the significance in providing holistic performance in educational buildings that able to improve the students’ learning environment. This study is aimed to provide a new rating tool for building performance that is hoped to be used for Malaysia’s higher educational buildings towards students’ learning improvement. Keywords: higher institutions; performance evaluation; performance concept- learning efficiency. eISSN 2514-751X © 2018. The Authors. Stress is inevitable in any types of occupation and career. It is recognised as major managerial and economic issues which contribute to employee turnover and poor performance. There is  a  need to  understand how  to reduce the effects to employees. This study aims to determine the stress relationship between employees in commercial complex facilities management organisations. Data collection is through questionnaire surveys to employees and semi-structured interviews to selected facilities managers for commercial complexes in Klang Valley, Malaysia. 7he ßndings indicated existence of stress that affected the occupational and behavioural performances of employees. Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) is one of the most promising renewable energy technologies. A BIPV system as a second layer of building envelopes is useful not only for the electric power generation but also for blocking solar radiation to reduce cooling load. This study aimed to explore the limitations of the automated BPS of an adaptive BIPV case study that its development conducted through a collaboration of a BIM software, a BIM-integrated visual programming environment, and a cloud-based energy analysis. The possible obstacles to BIPV design processes and the potential solutions have been discussed. Keywords: Automated Building Performance Simulation; Adaptive Building; Building Integrated Photovoltaic; Building Information Modelling; Parametric ModellingISSN: 2398-4287© 2017. One of the programmes of realization the strategy, directed to the solving the problem of saving and strengthening health of growing generation is the introduction of the subject Physical Culture into higher institutions, whose main idea is the formation of physical culture of students personality. The development of monitoring the formation of physical culture of students personality in a higher institution contributes to the effectiveness of solving the problem of worsening physical and functional characteristics of growing generation. The introduction of the complex of diagnostic methods into the educational process in the discipline Physical Culture on the basis of defining criterion- level apparatus allows to realize systematical management to achieve aims and solving set tasks in this discipline in a higher institution. The defined system of criteria and levels of development contributes to the effectiveness of the realization of the process of formation of physical culture of students personality on the basis of all-round monitoring of achieving the optimal health level, physical, mental, intellectual and functional development of growing generation.

Report from Asia Pacific Colliers had suggested that continued proactive marketing efforts and tenancy offerings could maintain the local office market performance. Therefore, the characteristics of PBO are significant factors that need to be studied. The aim of this paper is to examine the occupiers’ perceptions and needs as well as the importance of the characteristics that applied in PBO. Hence, this paper identified the issues that could provide ideas to the property market participants in improving PBO’s market and building performance via investigating the perception of occupants in order to determine the factors that affect office market property performance. Higher education building (HEB) is believed to be key functional. It spawns not only environment, but also human and economic resources. Initially, growing students’ population with various learning activities has constituted risk emergence, inefficient of energy use and climate discomfort. Thus, it decreases the yearly total performance of the building. To sustain the building efficiency, Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) plays a vital role to improve performance issues in HEB. Hence, this paper explores the significance of users’ feedback as the concept of building performance. This paper also describes literatures on the HEB’s background including risk factors and performance issues. eISSN 2514-751X © 2018. The Authors. Today, poor performance in old residential contexts in terms of memorable visual elements reduce the residents’ sense of belonging. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. To meet the needs of residents, a questionnaire was distributed among twenty-five experts. Data analysis was performed using fuzzy logic to calculate the weight of each criterion of hierarchical fuzzy (FAHP). According to the findings, the largest weight belonged to social interaction (0.288), physical (0.205) and dependence (0.179). The results showed that social interaction is imperative in increasing the residents’ sense of belonging.2398-4295 © 2017 The Authors. This study applies Structural Equation Model for ICT usage in Higher Education (Usluel, Askar & Bass 2008) attempts to identify the level of ICT usage among academicians in UiTM and UNISEL, two higher institutions representing the public and private sector respectively. Subsequently, the relationship between the perceived attributes and the level of ICT usage among academicians is presented. This paper compares the difference and the most influential attributes of the aforementioned between the public and private learning institution. This paper concludes that there is a significant relationship between perceived attributes and the level of ICT usage among UITM and UNISEL academicians. However, UiTM registers compatibility whilst UNISEL records observability as their most influential perceived attribute that leads to the level of ICT usage. The findings of this research were made through questionnaire distributed to academicians from both institutions and the analysis was carried out to verify the hypotheses. Health care and hospital buildings are among the most complex construction in the built environment which comprises a broad range of utility, services, and functional units. The objectives of the study are to review the built environment performance level of the public teaching health care hospital in meeting user’s need. Three (3) public training health care hospitals in Selangor district in Malaysia are selected as a case study sample. Based on the finding the study revealed that the correlation coefficient between technical building performance and the importance of POE Guideline are positively correlated based on security, safety, and efficiency and health criteria.© 2016. This study attempts to discover the alteration trends of house renovations focusing on terrace houses. Thirty renovated houses located in Shah Alam were identified, visually observed and analysed. The houses were photographed and sorting process was carried out for analysis at the studio. The results show the altered houses could be classified into four established styles namely; traditional, modern, post-modern and “others”. There is no one particular style of facade that was significantly more popular among them. Something that can be learnt from this study is that people are expressive of their stylistic preferences even under the constraints of the typically narrow-frontaged terrace houses.
