This paper reviews 74 empirical publications that used high-frequency data collection tools to capture facets of small collaborative groups—i.e., papers that conduct Multimodal Collaboration Analytics (MMCA) research. We selected papers published from 2010 to 2020 and extracted their key contributions. For the scope of this paper, we focus on: (1) the sensor-based metrics computed from multimodal data sources (e.g., speech, gaze, face, body, physiological, log data); (2) outcome measures, or operationalizations of collaborative constructs (e.g., group performance, conditions for effective collaboration); (3) the connections found by researchers between sensor-based metrics and outcomes; and (4) how theory was used to inform these connections. An added contribution is an interactive online visualization where researchers can explore collaborative sensor-based metrics, collaborative constructs, and how the two are connected. Based on our review, we highlight gaps in the literature and discuss opportunities for the field of MMCA, concluding with future work for this project.

The number of accidents that occurred in Jember Regency during the last 5 (five) years has decreased, although in some years there has been an increase and caused the number of fatalities (death, serious injuries, minor injuries) to increase every year. From the data obtained, it can be seen that one of the roads that often has accidents is the Hayam Wuruk road. Traffic flow and speed conditions on the Hayam Wuruk road are quite high due to its function as arterial roads and national roads, but the land use around these roads which includes shops, shopping centers, offices, and schools causes frequent conflicts and traffic problems. especially in the field of road safety, both driver safety and pedestrian safety. This study aims to increase the level of safety in traffic for both drivers and pedestrians on the Hayam Wuruk road, Jember Regency. This is carried out by observing and identifying the existing conditions along the Hayam Wuruk road including road performance conditions, traffic safety conditions and behavioral conditions for road users on these roads, so that handling proposals are obtained based on the results of data analysis that has been collected both primary and secondary data. secondary data. The results showed that the high number of accidents on the Hayam Wuruk road in Jember district was mostly caused by errors from human factors. Therefore, there is a need for a social approach in the form of increasing awareness and safety for drivers in the form of applying canalization on the leftmost lane to limit two-wheeled vehicles that interfere with traffic flow on the main road lane, making noise tape and installing speed limit signs to protect the safety and comfort of users.

The article performs an analysis of the durability of punches applied in the process of producing a valve forging from chromium-nickel steel. A forging of this type is made in two operations: coextrusion of a long shank, followed by finishing forging in closed dies of the valve head. The product obtained in this way (after other additional finishing procedures) constitutes the key element of the combustion engine (resistant to high pressures and temperatures) in motor trucks. Unfortunately, a significant problem in this production process is a relatively low durability of the forging tools, especially the punch used in the second forging operation. The key element at this stage, deciding about the punch’s further operation, is the area of the so-called “calotte”. The short-term life of the tools results from very hard performance conditions present during the forging process (periodical high mechanical and thermal loads, long path of friction). The latter cause intensive abrasive wear as well as high adhesion of the forging material to the tool surface. Based on the performed studies, including the following: technology analysis, numerical modelling, macro analyses combined with 3D scanning of tool sections as well as microstructural tests and hardness measurements, it was established that it is crucial to properly select the process parameters (charge and tool temperature, tribological conditions), as even slight changes introduced into them significantly affect the operation time of the forging tools. Mastering and proper implementation of the analyzed forging technology requires numerous further studies and tests, which will enable its perfection and thus increase the durability of the tools as well as the quality of the produced items.

LPKA Class I Palembang is an institution that enforces the Integrity Zone, WBK, and WBBM. Therefore, one of the technological innovations that will support the implementation is to instill a data-based performance culture through the LPKA Class I Palembang Dashboard. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the development of the dashboard model of government institutions in this case monitoring and reporting on the performance of the fields at LPKA. This evaluation will be included in the development of the dashboard in order to provide optimal net benefits for the management of LPKA Class I Palembang. The research was conducted in 4 stages, namely: determining the research design, identifying dashboard needs, identifying indicators in the development of the Palembang Class I LPKA dashboard model, and formulating a dashboard development model. The dashboard development model was formed based on the results of literature studies and surveys conducted on prospective dashboard users at LPKA Class I Palembang. The survey was conducted on prospective dashboard users, namely structural officials, General Functional Positions, and Certain Functional Positions with a total of 102 employees. The sampling technique is purposive sampling as many as 60 people were directly involved in reporting field performance. The evaluation of the aspects of the LPKA Dashboard shows that from the aspect of presenting Data/Information there are weaknesses in the visual display that is not yet rich in graphics, the unavailability of facilities for predicting future performance conditions, and facilities for causal analysis. The results of this study state that for the aspect of collaboration between users, the benefits that have not been felt are more, namely the exchange of information between users and no conference facilities are available. Meanwhile, in the dashboard performance aspect, there is no link to the administrator.

Judgment on the performance of a wind turbine depends upon its first law efficiency as well as its second law efficiency. This paper focuses on the second law efficiency, i.e., the exergy efficiency of a wind turbine. The work introduces a novel technique to determine the optimum performance conditions of a wind turbine. Jhimpir city, Pakistan, has been selected as a case study. The wind speed distribution of the selected area is analyzed using different probability density functions. Three-parameter Weibull Distribution turns out to be the best probability density function fitting the wind speed variation. Probability distribution of total wind exergy is performed, and a one-year variation of wind exergy is plotted, showing maximum exergy around the middle of the year. The exergy efficiency of the turbine using a power curve and wind exergy is determined at different wind speeds. Probabilities of various exergy efficiencies are also determined. Results show that higher exergy efficiency has a high probability but so does low exergy efficiency due to seasonal variations. The proposed method can be extended to any wind farm provided the geographical and meteorological parameters of the site.

As an emerging online shopping method, e-commerce has been widely popular since the popularization of the Internet. Online sales and online shopping have become the trend of modern business development. However, the functionality and performance conditions of the existing platform cannot be closely integrated with the merchant's own business. The purpose of this paper is to study the enterprise e-commerce marketing system based on big data. The system design of this paper adopts SSH framework as the main technology, the database selects HBase database, and the front end combines with Web2.0 technology for the interaction of interface display and operation. The experimental results show that applying big data technology to enterprise e-commerce marketing system has extremely important practical significance. Perform a performance analysis on this system, when the amount of data reaches 4000, the speed of HBase is 10.486s, and the query time of Mysql is 50.184s. It can be seen that the Hbase database query speed is much faster than the Mysql database query speed.

Heat transfer in concentrating solar collectors like parabolic troughs has proven nowadays a very efficient method by using different passive techniques to increase the heat transfer rate. The use of passive techniques also increases the pumping power requirements to make the flow through the receiver. So, a number of researchers are working to find out the optimum performance conditions for parabolic trough receivers by using different types of inserts in flow paths. This paper presents a wide range of literature available for solar parabolic troughs in one place. Based on this extensive study, it is found that twisted tape inserts is a very wide field for investigation and the use of different shapes, pitch value, free space, and angle of twist tape are the parameters that can be considered for further studies to improve the performance of solar troughs. Also, various combinations of perforation and cuts on twisted tapes can be used to achieve enhanced performance.

Modern equipment is designed to operate under deteriorating performance conditions resulting from internal ageing and/or external environmental impacts influencing downstream maintenance. This study focuses on the development of a multistate system (MSS) that considers a human reliability factor associated with maintenance personnel—a condition-based multiobjective MSS preventive maintenance model (MSSPMM). The study assumes that no more than one maintenance activity is performed to achieve the most appropriate preventive maintenance (PM) strategy and easy implementation and to reduce maintenance error due to human reliability. The MSS performance based on mean system unavailability and total maintenance cost is evaluated using a stochastic model approach, and then, the MSSPMM is used for optimisation. A customised version of the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm III is employed to ensure efficient solution of the PM model with human reliability—which is considered a constrained multiobjective combinatorial optimisation problem. The optimised solutions are determined from the nondominated Pareto frontier comprising the diversified PM alternatives. A helicopter power transmission system is used as an example to illustrate the efficacy and applicability of the proposed approach through sensitivity analyses with relevant parameters.
