BACKGROUND This paper investigates the use of mobile learning platforms for learning purposes among university students in UAE. An extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and theory of planned behavior (TPB) are proposed to analyze the adoption of mobile learning platforms by university students for accessing course materials, searching the web for information related to their discipline, sharing knowledge, conducting assignments during COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of questionnaires collected was 1880 form different universities. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and machine learning algorithms (ML) were utilized to investigate the research model based on the student’s data gathered through a survey. According to the results, each hypothesized relationship within the research model has been supported by the data analysis methods. It should also be noted that the J48 classifier mostly had the upper hand on other classifiers when it comes to the prediction of the dependent variable. As per the indication of our research, teaching and learning can greatly benefit from the adoption of machine learning as an educational tool at the time of this pandemic; nevertheless, its significance could be lowered because of the emotion of fear concerning poor grades, stressful family circumstances, and loss of friends. Accordingly, this issue can only be solved by evaluating the emotions of students during this pandemic. OBJECTIVE This study is one of the earliest attempt to: (1) theoretically integrate the notion of fear within a hybrid model of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) & Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) (2) empirically test the effect of COVID-19 on the users of mobile application, and (3) explore the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on users' ability to use the mobile application easily and users' attitude towards the usefulness of mobile learning platform. METHODS The developed theoretical model has been evaluated using two different techniques in this research. The first one involves the usage of the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) alongside the SmartPLS tool. This research uses PLS-SEM mainly because both the structural and measurement model can be concurrently analyzed through PLS-SEM, which increases the preciseness of results. As for the second technique, the research predicts the dependent variables entailing the conceptual model with the help of machine learning algorithms via Weka. RESULTS The present research has implemented a model that would be useful for future studies to be conducted since it helps assess the COVID-19 influence at the time of the pandemic period. Keeping the research results in mind, and the fear factor present during the period, the ML is considered to be a significantly useful tool which helps reduce the fear present within the peers and instructors. Similarly, the perceived fear (PF) highly affects the PU and PEU. According to the responses, during the pandemic period, the PF is quite evident; however, the ML maintains a high PU and PEU degree, which reduces the fear factor and encourages the students to participate in their scheduled class. CONCLUSIONS The current research results are similar to the ones presented in earlier research studies related to the TAM and TPB variable’s importance (Ajzen, 1985; F. D Davis, 1989; Teo, 2012; V Venkatesh & Bala, 2008). It is observed that the students are much more acceptable towards technology is there is nothing but the ML technology available as the tool for learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The PU and PEU related results are also similar to the ones of the earlier PU and PEU related results that influence the student acceptance of ML. Hence, it should be considered as an indicator for the students intention to make use of the ML when the environment is infected with COVID-19. Furthermore, PU is highly affected by PEU, which indicates that if it is easy to use the technology, then it would be considered useful.

Background Mobile learning has become an essential instruction platform in many schools, colleges, universities, and various other educational institutions across the globe, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The resulting severe, pandemic-related circumstances have disrupted physical and face-to-face contact teaching practices, thereby requiring many students to actively use mobile technologies for learning. Mobile learning technologies offer viable web-based teaching and learning platforms that are accessible to teachers and learners worldwide. Objective This study investigated the use of mobile learning platforms for instruction purposes in United Arab Emirates higher education institutions. Methods An extended technology acceptance model and theory of planned behavior model were proposed to analyze university students’ adoption of mobile learning platforms for accessing course materials, searching the web for information related to their disciplines, sharing knowledge, and submitting assignments during the COVID-19 pandemic. We collected a total of 1880 questionnaires from different universities in the United Arab Emirates. Partial least squares-structural equation modeling and machine learning algorithms were used to assess the research model, which was based on the data gathered from a student survey. Results Based on our results, each hypothesized relationship within the research model was supported by our data analysis results. It should also be noted that the J48 classifier (89.37% accuracy) typically performed better than the other classifiers when it came to the prediction of the dependent variable. Conclusions Our study revealed that teaching and learning could considerably benefit from adopting remote learning systems as educational tools during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the value of such systems could be lessened because of the emotions that students experience, including a fear of poor grades, stress resulting from family circumstances, and sadness resulting from a loss of friends. Accordingly, these issues can only be resolved by evaluating the emotions of students during the pandemic.

Continuous development of technological innovations especially in the banking sector have stirred competition which has changed the way businesses operate resulting in the introduction of Unified Interface Payment (UPI) services. This study was conducted in order to analyse the adoption of UPI services through Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in Mysuru. Objectives of study were framed to determine the demographic factors that influence the practices of UPI by the customers, to examine the role of banks in integrating UPI services and products and to assess the various security issues affecting the usage of UPI services by Mysuru customers. Based on these objectives a structured questionnaire was prepared and primary data was collected from 165 respondents. Data was analysed making use of SPSS and other models namely Structural Equation Modeling with Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) Software. Finally the researchers identifies that there is a need for convergence of customer’s preference for safe and easy banking transactions. This study revealed that the customer’s model have to be well integrated for progress in UPI operations.

Snapchat, and Instagram are two social networks which recently gain their users after adopting such a feature called "Story" which allows a certain post to be disappeared after a certain time. This research takes up this technology trends analyzing the factors that probably affect the behavioral intention to use Snapchat and Instagram stories among generation Z. Factors are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling, with basis model and variables from Technology Acceptance Model. Data collection was targeted to finished within 1 week using online questionnaire with respondent from Jakarta and Tangerang for 100 respondent that are using both Snapchat stories and Instagram Stories. There are two tools researcher usually use to analyze Structural Equation Modeling: SPSS AMOS and LISREL. In this research, researchers choose AMOS. From six hypothesis proposed for Snapchat analysis, four hypothesis is accepted, while the other two are rejected. Meanwhile, on Instagram Stories analysis, five hypothesis is accepted and one hypothesis is rejected. This study finds out the Social Presence is an exogenous variable which has a major role in affecting other variables. While Perceived Enjoyment influenced the behavioral intention to use Snapchat and Instagram Stories the most. Abstract. The long-term objective of this research is to enrich the development of science, especially the development of SMEs related to the adoption of information technology with studies using the Technology Acceptance Model. The specific aim of the research is to examine what factors are inhibiting the adoption of e commerce technology in SMEs in Banyumas Regency, as well as examining whether e-commerce adoption has an impact on increasing the demand for product quantities in SMEs. Collecting data in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires through direct interviews with SMEs in Banyumas District who were respondents. The sampling technique in this study using random sampling technique. Whereas for data analysis using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 22.0 and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS program. The results of the study show that the Technology Acceptance Model theory is able to explain the institutions of SMEs actors to use e-commerce technology. Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkaya perkembangan ilmu, khususnya pengembangan UMKM terkait dengan adopsi teknologi informasi dengan kajian menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model.  Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah untuk menelaah faktor-faktor apakah yang menghambat adopsi teknologi e commerce pada UMKM di Kabupaten Banyumas, serta menelaah apakah adopsi e- commerce berdampak pada peningkatan permintaaan kuantitas produk pada UKM. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner melalui antar langsung kepada pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Banyumas yang menjadi responden.  Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sedangkan untuk analisis data mengunakan Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 22.0 dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan program AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori Technology Acceptance Model  mampu menjelaskan instensi para pelaku UMKM untuk menggunakan teknologi e-commerce.  Hasil penelitian juga berhasil menerima 3 (tiga) hipotesis yaitu Perceived usefulnes  berpengaruh terhadap use behavior, Perceived ease of use berpengaruh terhadap use behavior, use behavior  berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan permintaan kuantitas produk.  Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan implementasi e-commerce tidak berpengaruh terhadap persepsi manfaat (perceived usefulness), Implementasi e-commerce tidak berpengaruh terhadap persepsi kemudahan pengoperasian sistem  (perceived ease of use) atau dengan kata lain menolak 2 (dua) hipotesis lainnya.Keywords. Despite the significant increase in telemedicine services technology, its adoption and use have been quite slow in some healthcare settings. It is generally accepted in today’s globalizing world that the success of telemedicine services relies on users’ satisfaction. Satisfying physicians and patients is one of the crucial objectives of telemedicine success. This study seeks to evaluate physicians’ satisfaction with telemedicine services adoption and utilization using the technology acceptance model. A structured questionnaire based on the construct of technology acceptance model was used to solicit for data from participants in four different government health institutions. Purposive and convenience sampling techniques were employed to select healthcare professionals from various medical fields. Structural equation modeling was utilized in the data analysis. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of telemedicine services were found to influence physicians’ behavioral intentions. This resulted in increased efficiency, quality of services, quality patient care delivery, and satisfaction among physicians in using telemedicine services. We noted that the adoption of telemedicine services in clinical settings depends on physicians’ and patients’ satisfaction with the use of the service. The study contributes to empirical knowledge by identifying the vital predictive factors affecting telemedicine services satisfaction among physicians.

The automotive industry today faces three major transitions: the emergence of autonomous driving, electric powertrain replacing the internal combustion engine, and changes in possession of automobiles, e.g., increased usage of car sharing. As all three transitions are fostered by technologies that drive digital transformation of automobiles, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by Davis represents the underlying research model of this paper. Hypotheses are developed and tested for a sample of 1177 participants using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Group differences are investigated for three markets: Europe, North America, and China. The paper confirms the underlying assumptions of the Technology Acceptance Model in the context of automobiles. Further, it illustrates influential societal norms and individual experiences for technology acceptance. In addition, compound effects for technology acceptance are found, e.g., the perceived enjoyment of electric driving affects the acceptance of autonomous driving and car possession behavior. The novel approach to integrate three different technologies within the Technology Acceptance Model requires unifying items to a level which makes them comparable, limiting the results for each individual technology. For practice, automotive manufacturers obtain advice on how to foster technology acceptance. For society, the paper uncovers the role of societal norms for technology acceptance in the context of automobiles. Policy makers can obtain insights on how to successfully increase technology acceptance, e.g., for environmental purposes. Conclusively, the paper applies the Technology Acceptance Model for three developments in the context of automobiles, thereby extending current research using the Technology Acceptance Model.

<p align="left"> </p><p>This study investigates online students’ acceptance of mobile learning and its influence on learning achievement using an information system success and extended technology acceptance model (TAM). Structural equation modeling was used to test the structure of individual, social, and systemic factors influencing mobile learning’s acceptance, and how said acceptance influences learning satisfaction and achievement. Unlike earlier TAM-related research that did not provide a broad view of technological acceptance and its impact on learning activities, the present study’s results highlight the relationship between behavioral intention/learning satisfaction and learning achievement. Additionally, this study tests the theoretical model of successful mobile learning by empirically accepting mobile learning management systems. The findings further imply that students at online universities have started to accept mobile technology as a new learning tool; consequently, its acceptance has influenced their learning achievement both directly and indirectly. These discoveries should facilitate a better understanding of students’ usage of mobile learning systems in higher education, and provide timely guidance for its development and implementation.</p>

A large number of university web portal's content and design do not meet today's students' expectations and requirements. To address students' expectations, universities spend millions on the redesign and maintenance of their web portals which students say are inadequate and lack basic services. To this end, this study explored the factors that influence students' acceptance of university web portals. It proposed an extension of Davis's (1989) Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by adding three user related external constructs in it. A total of 429 usable responses were collected from university students through a web survey. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results of the study revealed that website quality, perceived self-efficacy, and facilitating conditions were significant in explaining students' use of university web portals and therefore, indicated that the extended TAM has sufficient explanatory power to explain students' usage of university web portals. In conclusion, important theoretical and practical implications of the results are presented for both researchers and practitioners.

This paper examines key motivators for consumers attitude towards continuing the reception of existing blog services. Multiple theoretical perspectives are synthesized to hypothetically construct a model of continuance behavior, which is then empirically tested using a field survey of online blog users, and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) are the studys theoretical bases. The study uses Structure Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze users who have used blogs. The results indicated the blogs usefulness, ease to use, attitude, and subjective norm are positively affecting users behavior intention.
