This study aims to examine the utilization of e-journals in EBSCO database "Business Source Complete" and ProQuest "ABI / INFORM Collection" as the citation in the writing of theses and dissertations by the students of Master of Science and Doctor of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada 2014-2015. This quantitative descriptive study used documentation method for data collection. Data analysis used frequency tabulation and percentage calculation of Kerlinger's formulas. The results showed that the availability of journals in the EBSCO database for the preparation of theses and dissertations was higher than in ProQuest. The degree of duplication of availability of journals both in EBSCO and ProQuest for the preparation of theses and dissertations of all majors was 24.88% and 27.81% respectively. Journals published between 2001-2010 was more highly utilized. Overall the utilization of these two databases was low.

This study aimed to examine the use, utilization ratio, and recency of journal publications in the country and abroad that are used as references in the thesis of Psychology UGM 2012. This quantitative descriptive study using documentation method for data collection. Study subjects such as Psychology UGM thesis in 2012, with the object of study of the entire bibliography contained in this thesis. The analysis was performed on 163 thesis, and data analysis using frequency tables and the counting frequency using a percentage formula. The process of data analysis with MS Excel 2010 program. The results showed that the use of psychology journals published abroad subscribed (12.72%) was higher than psychology journals published in the country (2.44%). Both of these percentages included in the low category yet. Comparison between the use of psychology journals published abroad and domestic use as a reference the result that the journal published abroad 94%, and journals published in the country of 6%. Thus the utilization ratio of journals published abroad are higher than journal publications in the country. Recency of the journal is used as a reference thesis Faculty of Psychology in 2012 included in the category of advanced as much as 67.76%, while the category is not advanced as much as 31.81%.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of basic technical skills of lay up and one hand set shot of basketball extracurricular members at SMAN 1 Turen Malang Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method. The research subjects were 20 participants. The data analysis technique in this study used the percentage formula. The results showed that the extracurricular participants did the lay up and one hand set shot skills test in the "Enough" category with 13 participants (65.00%). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the basic technique skills of lay up and one hand set shot of extracurricular basketball participants at SMAN 1 Turen Malang Regency are included in the "Enough" category.   Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang tingkat keterampilan teknik dasar lay up dan one hand set shot peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket di SMAN 1 Turen Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 peserta. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta ekstrakurikuler dalam melakukan tes keterampilan lay up dan one hand set shot pada kategori “Cukup” dengan 13 peserta (65,00%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan teknik dasar lay up dan one hand set shot peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket SMAN 1 Turen Kabupaten Malang termasuk dalam kategori “Cukup”.

The topic of this article is "Sentence analysis in Merry Riana's Spotify broadcast for the period October-November 2019". As the background of this study is that, in the 41 broadcast episodes chosen, Merry uses modern Indonesian, making it easier for the researchers to review when this analysis is carried out. Second, research on Merry Riana's spotify siniar with sentense structure has never been done. Third, this study may be  motivating and increasing researchers' insight. In this study, two research questions were raised, namely what types of sentences are contained in Merry Riana's spotify podcast and how is the structure of the sentence function filler in Merry Riana's spotify podcast. The purpose of this study is to find out the types of sentences contained in Merry Riana's spotify podcast and to find out how the structure of the filler function is. Qualitative and quantitative descriptive study which is presented in the form of data excerpts containing sentences and table of data percentage. In the data collection method, observation supported by listening technique followed by note-taking techniques were applied. The results of this research data analysis are presented in formal and informal methods. The results of this study obtained eight types of sentences, namely single sentences, compound sentences, declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, imperative sentences, exclamative sentences, complete sentences, and incomplete sentences. In this study, it is also found 23 variations of syntactic functions consisting of seven variations of single sentences and 16 variations of compound sentences.

The study aims at evaluating the school principal renewals management to improve teachers competence at SMP Negeri 1 Arga Makmur Bengkulu Utara regency. The study was an evaluative descriptive study. The subjects were the school principal, teachers and staffs. The techniques to collect the data were questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through four components including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. The finding showed that the school principal renewals management was in 'good' category with score ranges between 51- 62 out of the total score 75. In conclusion, the school principal renewals management was successful to improve teachers competence, particularly the competence of pedagogy, personality, social,  and professional. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, which aims to determine the function of green open space in the Biringkanaya District of Makassar City. The research object is 3 RTH in Biringkanaya District. Data collection uses documentation techniques, interviews, observation, and surveys. The descriptive analysis showed that the average function of RTH in Taman Ayam Daya is 50%, which means the category is, Untia Mangrove Forest and Baddoka Golf Course is 77.78% which means good category. So the results of this study show that the Untia Mangrove Forest and Baddoka Golf Course have the highest percentage which means fulfilling functions among other green open spaces.

This research was motivated by the implementation of majelis taklim activities during the Covid-19 pandemic by following health protocols. This study aims to determine the description of the planning, know the description of the implementation, and know the description of the existing supervision in the activities of the Taklim Assembly during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with an ex post facto approach. The subjects of this study were members / jama'ah of the Al Ittihad Al Ittihad Assembly Activities in Pauh Subdistrict, Padang City. The population was 44 people and a sample of 3 administrators and 30 members / jama'ah were taken from 70% of the total population using the Simple Ramdom Sampling technique. Data collection tools in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was to use the percentage formula. The results showed that the activities of majelis taklim during the Covid-19 pandemic were categorized as good in terms of planning, implementation, monitoring aspects. Suggestions from this research are expected that majelis taklim activities will continue to run well and be further improved in planning, implementing, and supervising activities. Keywords: activities, assemblies, taklim

Abstrak: Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah para guru dan peserta didik di SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner melalui google form, berisikan pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang berbagai upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, serta dokumen-dokumen terkait. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru sekaligus mengatasi berbagai kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaaan pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir.  Abstract: This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe the principal's efforts in improving teacher discipline in the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir. Sources of data in this study were teachers and students at SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir. Collecting data using interview techniques and distributing questionnaires via google form, containing questions about the various efforts made by school principals to improve teacher discipline in carrying out online learning, as well as related documents. Data analysis was carried out through stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation of this research data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that the various efforts made by the principal were effective in improving teacher discipline as well as overcoming various obstacles faced in implementing online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 2 Kahayan Hilir.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of social media-integrated microteaching, viewing it from the effectiveness, efficiency and practicality aspects. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data collection methods used are using instruments that were distributed to students undertaking the social media-integrated microteaching course. The population in this study were 15 students as respondents. The evaluation results showed an effectiveness level of 91.15, the efficiency of 91.43, and practicality of 94.44.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi pelaksanaan microteaching yang diintegrasikan dengan media sosial yang dilihat dari efektifitas, efisiensi dan kepraktisan microteaching yang diintegrasikan dengan media sosial. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dengan menggunakan instrument yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa yang mengambil matakuliah microteaching yang diintegrasikan dengan media sosial. Responden ada sebanyak 15 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 91,15 , efisiensi sebesar 91,43 dan kepraktisan sebesar 94,44.

Product inventory in pharmacies is one of problem in controlling drug supplies. How to provide an efficientproduct, need the right calculation with the right method. EOQ method shows that there are savings oninventory cost. It is expected in this study was to determine a forecast that the drugs inventory_ control. Theapproach used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Source of data in this research using primery data sourcesobtained directly from the company. Data collection data using documentation and interviews. Data analysis used inthis research using Economic Order Quantity. The forcasting results for ordering efficient drugs in 2019 are: first,Amlodipine 5 mg 10.153 boxes are needed and at a cost of Rp. 12,843,264.00. Second, Simvastatin 20 mg 25.288 boxesare need at the cost of Rp. 30,44,245.00.

This study is aimed to know the influence of development career and work environment and retention as an intervening variable on the performance of non-permanent civil service (Non-PNS) assigned as educational staff at the Hasanuddin University (Unhas). The research was a quantitative descriptive study with the use of the staff of Non-Permanent Civil Servant Education, called Tendik as respondents, that have been working for 5 to 10 years. Methods of data collection were used through the distribution of questionnaires which is tested the validity and reliability of all items evaluated afterward. Data analysis was performed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25 and analysed using path analysis. To evaluate the indirect effect between variables, the study applied the Sobel Test. The result of this study indicates that career development and the work environment have a significant effect on retention. To the second equation evaluated, the retention has a significant effect on performance. Interestingly, career development and the work environment have no significant effect on performance. The career development and the work environment have a significant effect on the performance through retention as an intervening variable.
