Wastewater has been recognized as a resource due to its large quantities, and it contains many valuable resources that can be converted into valuable material. Reusing or recovering resources from wastewater can reduce the environmental footprint of wastewater treatment, minimize the contamination and ensure the availability of valuable resources for the human being. The ultimate aim of wastewater resource recovery (WRR) is to create a sustainable and resilient community which is very relevant in Indonesia as this country experiences many natural or human-made disaster. To have an effective implementation, therefore, it is crucial to identify the barriers or supporting factors in its implementation of Wastewater Resource Recovery, which can be different for many regions. Through extensive literature studies, this study intends to review the possibility of WRR implementation in Indonesia.  This study discusses Indonesia policy/regulation about wastewater management across all-region in Indonesia, identify barriers in WRR, compares global trends of wastewater management to Indonesia practice and list wastewater resources that potentially can be recovered in Indonesia. From the review, barriers of WRR implementation in Indonesia is most probably due to the policy and regulation of wastewater management which many of them did not support the option of WRR, instead of suggesting only safe discharge option. However, some regulations have mentioned the utilization of wastewater by-product, but it is limited only to treated water utilization. Other obstacles are social acceptance and distance between recovered material supply and demand. Social acceptance includes the human perception regarding the health risk associated with wastewater by-product. Religion also could be a potential barrier that needs to be handled in the implementation of WRR. This study could give new insight into the current state of wastewater resource recovery initiative in Indonesia; thus the strategy to overcome the barriers could be designed.

The article presents brief results of the analysis of the subscriber segment of the international space search and rescue system COSPAS-SARSAT. Proposals on the nomenclature of emergency subscriber emergency terminals and direction finders are presented, which are necessary for development and production in batch production in Russia, in order to prevent a backlog in this area and to implement the import substitution program. The recommendations are developed taking into account the materials discussed at the working technical groups, the Joint Committee and the COSPAS-SARSAT Council in recent years, as well as the results of the technical analysis of the nomenclature of terminals produced and developed by foreign companies. In addition, the development of recommendations takes into account the main current and prospective directions for the development of Russia's economy and industry.

Background: Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a neurodegenerative disorder which asymmetrically affects the frontotemporal lobe, characterized by behavioural abnormalities, language impairment, and deficits of executive functions. Genetic studies identified mutations causing the disease, namely Microtubule Associated Protein Tau (MAPT), Granulin (GRN) and chromosome 9 open reading frame 72 (C9orf72) mutations, which contributed to elucidate the molecular pathways involved in brain depositions of either Tau or TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP43) inclusions. However, in the majority of sporadic FTD patients, the mechanisms triggering Tau or TDP43 protein deposition are still to be uncovered. Objective: We aimed to present an extensive evaluation of literature data on immune homeostasis in FTD, in order to provide potentially evidence-based approaches for a disease still orphan of any treatment. Methods: A structured search of bibliographic databases from peer-reviewed literature was pursued focusing on autoimmunity in the brain and FTD. Results: One-hundred-fourteen papers were included in this review. The majority of studies (32) were represented by extensive literature revision on immunity, central nervous system (CNS) and autoimmunity; neuroimaging papers (11) in autoimmune diseases were evaluated, and immunomodulatory approaches (25) were revised. Six papers were found specifically related to FTD and autoimmune hypothesis, the other papers referring to current state of art on FTD. Conclusion: Overall this review contribute to expand the knowledge of a possible immune hypothesis in FTD, suggesting therapeutic perspectives in autoimmune related neurodegeneration, to reduce or revert the disease.

Wastewater and sewage sludge contain organic matter that can be valorized through conversion into energy and/or green chemicals. Moreover, resource recovery from these wastes has become the new focus of wastewater management, to develop more sustainable processes in a circular economy approach. The aim of this review was to analyze current sewage sludge management systems in Scandinavia with respect to resource recovery, in combination with other organic wastes. As anaerobic digestion (AD) was found to be the common sludge treatment approach in Scandinavia, different available organic municipal and industrial wastes were identified and compared, to evaluate the potential for expanding the resource recovery by anaerobic co-digestion. Additionally, a full-scale case study of co-digestion, as strategy for optimization of the anaerobic digestion treatment, was presented for each country, together with advanced biorefinery approaches to wastewater treatment and resource recovery.

Modern communications and principles of interaction of various social systems are also considered. As a result, the most significant cultural-cum-civilizational systems are distinguished – the West, China, the Islamic world and Russia, which represent four global trends or four vectors of power that fundamentally affect the current state and prospects of world development. It is emphasized that the West and China have a global strategy, provided by objective circumstances. The Islamic world and Russia occupy an important geopolitical position and also have a special status in the global world.

Planning for sustainable water management in the arid region of the southwestern USA is challenging mostly due to only partial understanding of factors converging around water supply and demand. Some of the factors that prompt concern about the adequacy of water resources are: (a) a growing urban population seeking a range of services, including the need to preserve and enhance aquatic ecosystems; (b) dwindling water storage due to multi-year drought conditions; and (c) the prospect of human-induced climate changes and its consequences in the hydrologic system of the region. This study analyzes the potential for water saving in the Phoenix Active Management Area (AMA) of Central Arizona, which includes the city of Phoenix, one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. Based on an extensive literature review and secondary data analysis, this paper investigates multiple factors that place increasing strain on current water resources, and attempts to extend this analysis to 2025. Outdoor water use within the residential landscape is the most important factor that strains water resources in Phoenix AMA. Any gain in efficiency through agricultural water demand management would not only improve the availability of water for other uses in the AMA, but would facilitate adaptation of the agricultural system to climate and other ongoing changes.

It further explains the various facilitators and barriers of green energy management and reports the opportunities and challenges that exist in developing and managing green energy supply chain.Originality/valueThe study is pioneer in providing a comprehensive view of developing and managing green energy operations in India. The study is useful to various organisations on drafting strategies to effectively adopt and manage green energy. The study is also useful in policy formulation for promoting green energy use. This article also set as a base for future researchers working in the area of green energy.

The purpose of the article is to summarize the views on the current state of internal audit in Ukraine and identify general promising areas for its development. The evolution, current state and prospects of internal audit development in Ukraine are revealed. The history of internal audit is covered, the stages of development of internal audit in the world and in Ukraine are considered. It is determined that the development of internal audit in Ukraine takes place with the adoption of relevant legislation governing its implementation in a particular area. The current state of internal audit in Ukraine is characterized, the current legal framework for internal audit is analyzed. The level of legislative regulation of internal audit of enterprises of various spheres of activity is revealed. It was found that the establishment of an internal audit function at the legislative level is not mandatory for the private sector, while such companies have all the necessary legal framework that can be used in the process of implementing and conducting internal audit. Views on modern problematic aspects of internal audit development in Ukraine are generalized. It is determined that the most acute issues hindering the implementation of internal audit in enterprises are the lack of methodological and organizational support for internal audit, the low level of development of corporate governance culture, as well as the lack of qualified internal auditors. The actual directions of further improvement of the process of introduction of internal audit in the practice of domestic enterprises are formulated. The necessity of further improvement of normative-legal provision of internal audit regulation, development of methodical recommendations on organizational-technological schemes and procedures of internal audit and improvement of the system of professional training of specialists in internal audit is substantiated. It is concluded that the development of internal audit in Ukraine at the present stage is due to the need to understand internal audit as a potential tool to improve the efficiency of the enterprise, as well as the existing regulatory requirements. Prospects for the development of internal audit in Ukraine must have all the prerequisites to meet modern global trends.

Abstract: Metal-air batteries provide a most promising battery technology given their outstanding potential energy densities, which are desirable for both stationary and mobile applications in a ‘beyond lithium-ion’ battery market. Silicon- and iron-air batteries underwent less research and development compared to lithium- and zinc-air batteries. Nevertheless, in the recent past, the two also-ran battery systems made considerable progress and attracted rising research interest due to the excellent resource-efficiency of silicon and iron. Silicon and iron are among the top five of the most abundant elements in the earth’s crust, which ensures almost infinite material supply of the anode materials, even for large scale applications. Furthermore, primary silicon-air batteries are set to provide one of the highest energy densities among all batteries, while iron-air batteries are frequently considered as a highly rechargeable system with decent performance characteristics. Considering fundamental aspects for the anode materials, i.e., the metal electrodes, in this review, we will first outline the challenges, which explicitly apply to silicon- and iron-air batteries and prevented them from a broad implementation so far. Afterwards, we provide an extensive literature survey regarding state-of-the-art experimental approaches, which are set to resolve the aforementioned challenges and might enable the introduction of silicon- and iron-air batteries into the battery market in the future.

The purpose of the article is to analyze support of the independent processes, using any tool of information technology (IT) outside of the information system (IS) in the enterprise environment. The useful tool of IT could be the software (SW) ATOM, an ontology-driven web based application. Changes in IS are very expensive, complicated and risky, but it should be suggested solution omitted. The extensive literature review of the current state of the topic is added. The chosen process is innovation; the life cycle of innovation is explained: suggestion of innovation, demand for the solution of innovation, the final solution of innovation, and project for implementation of innovation. The methodology of an ontology preparation for the SW application includes design scheme of classes and associations between classes, preparation table of assignment characteristics to classes, and implementation of an ontology design in SW ATOM. The real possibility to support independent processes outside of IS using an ontology-driven application was experimentally verified and confirmed, and the result of research work could be used for any process outside of IS. Limits of the proposed solution consist of only experimental laboratory verification. For the practical use, it should be necessary first to prepare a prototype for the corporation IS in an enterprise environment.

Some basic directions in the global development of agricultural machinery and global trends in the dig-ital transformation of agriculture are reviewed and identified based on analysis of reports and articles by well-known expert organizations in this field. The analysis of the technical re-equipment of the Belarusian crop production over the past decade has been carried out, the directions of digitalization of agricultural production of the republic identified by the current State programs in the agricultural sector and Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 8 "On the Development of the Digital Economy" have been determined.
