AbstractAn Eclipse is an astronomical event that convenes a large audience. Few days before it, most of the community is aware of the event and the press is activated fully on it. The alignment recovers our most intrinsic human aspects, the curiosity, and enthusiasm for a natural phenomenon. This work is focused to enjoy and perceive it in three different ways: visually, listening, and in an artistic expression. We focused on the construction of more than one hundred LightSound devices, which the main purpose is to record the light intensity and transform it into different tones. Besides, we created an artistic representation of the Eclipse motivated by the ancestral culture of the people residing in the totality zone. This music adds a sensorial joy to the eclipse event.

The topic of growth and convergence is at the heart of a wide-ranging debate in the growth literature. The century long history of deprivation and backwardness of Jangalmahal area and four districts of it in the state of West Bengal—Purulia, Bankura, West Midnapore and parts of Birbhum—is also a well discussed issue. The dependency of the people on forest products to earn livelihoods is a natural phenomenon which, over the years, has resulted in considerable exploitation of forest resources. Through this chapter, we have made an attempt to see whether there exists any convergence, both absolute as well as conditional, in the total forest product of Jangalmahal and in the incomes earned from forest resources. We have seen the presence of Beta convergence, both conditional and absolute, in both tests of forest products as well as income from it. Sigma of forest income diverges instead of converge. Similar result is seen in case of timber.

Background extinction is a natural phenomenon. Anthropogenic biodiversity loss has been addressed from the various view points. The debate is continuing to identify the root cause of the anthropogenic mass extinction, also called the sixth extinction. The present communication discusses various anthropogenic drivers of the biodiversity loss and explains the ongoing sixth mass extinction using Garrett Hardin's “the tragedy of the commons”. Such explanations provide options for policy makers and for us to save the precious biodiversity of our planet. It has been demonstrated that presently we share about one third of the Net Primary Productivity which must be reduced through reducing our food consumption and by reducing our utilization of energy. Promotion of sustainable human behaviours to ameliorate the problem of anthropogenic extinction or the sixth extinction has been discussed in the light of recent findings from neurobiology and molecular biology. Biodiversity conservation through providing benefit to the people may be effective conservation strategies which would save the interest of human civilizations as well as other life forms on the earth.

As per the latest survey of the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies on sexual attitudes and behaviors of Afghan youths, most Afghan teens and adolescents do not have information about the healthy sexual relationship. 90 percent of those interviewed in the survey said that there is a pressing need for sex education in Afghanistan. Although the new generation of Afghanistan, despite close and strict traditions, have been able to create opportunities for themselves to talk about various social and cultural topics so as to understand better their opposite sex’s characteristics before entering an official relationship – marriage life, still talking about sexual attitudes and behaviors in public and families remains as a cultural and social taboo in Afghanistan. Likewise, the purpose of this paper is, first, to discuss the dominant views among the people on sexual relationship and issues in Afghanistan. Second, to analyze the cultural and social barriers that lead to lack of debating on sexual attitudes and behaviors among families and youths in the society. And finally, to present recommendations for promoting sex education at schools, and encouraging families and parents to talk with their children about the sexual issues and look at them as a natural phenomenon, not as a cultural and social taboo.

This article constitutes to repeatedly reading the orientalists research findings on the practice of the holy Qurans reading in Indonesia. It is very important, especially related to the methodology used, because at the same time both of those who are interested to study the holy Quran and the cultural observers see the various daily activities of the people showing the natural phenomenon that can be approached through the social-humanities disciplines. This article explained that Anna M. Gade operated Clifford Geertzs theory on religion as cultural system. Anna Gade said that the practical reading of the Quran (in Indonesia) is constituted by several things, which then grouped into motivation and mood.

Consistent distinction of the nation (as a political form of the people, which assigned sovereignty) and ethnic group (as a historical or, at least, "natural" phenomenon) in the modernist and constructivist "conceptual framework" of defining the concept of the nation involves the exclusion of "naturalizations": in this respect the modernist theory that represents the nation as a "categorical identity" (for example, K. Calhoun), from the point of view of "political calculations" rely "is not able" to implement the task. The constructivist approach (P . Brubaker) proposed the design concept of the nation to use a concept called "ethnicity without groups"; the subject of the analysis in this article is how to apply this concept in the construction of the "postmodern" concept of the nation, "purified" from all of the typical "modernist approach" "naturalizations", identifies the purpose, objectives, possible outcomes and "beneficiaries" political strategy, using a "constructivist approach" in shaping the concept of nation and national politics.

Teaching the Geology course at my school and implementing each year Environmental programs focused on Geosciences, we dared with my students to participate in the CRL WORKSHOP.

We tried to give simple answers to the main questions that trigger the Earthquake phenomenon.

What is an earthquake? Most of the people believe that an earthquake is a shake of the surface of the Earth as a result of the sudden movement of the ground. During this release of energy seismic waves travel in the Earth's lithosphere.

Is an earthquake predictable, when, where, how big the next earthquake will be? These are the questions everybody asks.

Consequences of an earthquake? Which houses are more susceptible to ground vibrations and what kind of house should I have in order not to be scared

The answer is: No, they are all at risk!! Because of Plates Tectonics

Using the know-how and knowledge gained in CRL 2018 - 2019, we built our uploaded SEISMOBOX and replica / models of the tectonic plates. Using the SEISMOBOX during the course, I managed to explain the phenomenon of earthquake and in the long run to achieve the main objectives and goals of the program:

Stimulate students (citizens of tomorrow) to the knowledge of earthquake as a natural phenomenon

To sensitize students to the consequences that an earthquake may have on buildings in relation to the type of soil (rock) on which buildings are constructed and the type of buildings itself.

To raise awareness of school teachers to use new educational techniques in order to educate students

To make all teachers aware of the use of new educational tools in order to understand and deepen students' understanding of a phenomenon that ranks our country first among Mediterranean countries in earthquake action.

Also by using this educational tool, the students succeeded:

to build a seismic table

create an earthquake on their own and

record and monitor its effects on anthropogenic construction understanding the earthquake phenomenon.

Capitalizing the knowledge and educational techniques I learned during the CRL School, I used SEISMOBOX in order to approach students and make them sociable in the earthquake. During the course in the classroom, with the help of Dr Francesca Cifelli, I made it more accessible to the pupils and teachers involved in Hellenic educational system.

Through the implementation of our environmental programs, we began disseminating this educational tool to partner schools and spread SEISMOBOX to several schools in Hellas. Our goal is to reach it in every school in our country through the Sch.gr and OSOS platform.

In relation to the educational level of our students we focused on the best teaching performance and it was done with the purpose to understand the phenomenon of earthquakes and the impact on human structures.

Islam responds to natural feomena by presenting a rule of law so that changes that occur in natural phenomena are not a threat or a human life. Lunar eclipse is one of the natural phenomenon that is present at a certain time, not every year occurs and become an interesting natural phenomenon for the community. At this time social media becomes a medium that is effective enough to affect someone against something interesting and rare. The lunar eclipse of 2018 becomes an attraction for the people of the world, one of them Muslim citizens. In general, the lunar eclipse is not known to the public, only astronomers and Islamic’s astronomers can predict it will happen, but the whole eye is interested in seeing the lunar eclipse "super blue blood moon" 2018. The focus of the problem discussed by the author is the lunar eclipse becomes the attraction to be seen massively by the community because of the existence of social media, previously only a solar eclipse that has the attraction to be seen and published. The author uses qualitative research methods with random sampling to the research subjects

The deployment of different clean energy systems is a crucial strategy to achieve environment sustainability. Most of the people are spending most of their time in walking. Walking is also known as ambulation, i.e., a fundamental and common locomotion for human in daily life. The contacts between human feet and ground surface is created during the walking. The forces experienced by human feet upon landing on the ground can generate a renewable energy known as kinetic energy. This energy can be converted into electricity through a footstep power generator.
