The purpose of  this research was to find out the principal’s charismatic leadership influence and teacher’s personality on the teacher ethos in private Islamic integrated Junior High School Cimanggis, Depok. Validated and reliable questionnaires (using Pearson Product Moment and Cronbach Formula) were distributed to 126 sampled teachers out of population 184 teachers. Data were analyzed using path analysis (alpha .05). The study showed that there is direct and positive influences of: (1) the principal’s charismatic leadership on teacher work ethos indicated by path coefficient .128; (2) teacher personality on work ethos indicated by path coefficient .208 and (3) the principal’s charismatic leadership on teacher personality indicated by path coefficient .250.

This study aims to determine the effect of academic supervision and teamwork on the effectiveness of the work of State Junior High School teachers in Bekasi City. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach and data collection techniques using questionnaires involving 243 public junior high school teachers in Bekasi City as a research sample. The sample in this study was determined randomly using Slovin formula. Analysis and interpretation of data indicate; First, the influence of academic supervision is directly positive and significant for teacher work effectiveness with a path coefficient of 0.249. Second, the influence of teamwork is directly positive on teacher work effectiveness with path coefficients of 0.557. Third, the influence of academic supervision is directly positive on teamwork with a path coefficient of 0.383. Based on the results of this study, teacher work effectiveness can be improved with appropriate academic supervision. Teamwork through coordination, interpersonal activities, responsibility, support between individuals and collaboration can improve teacher work effectiveness.    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik dan kerjasama tim terhadap efektivitas kerja guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angketdengan melibatkan 243 guruSMP Negeri di Kota Bekasi sebagai sampel penelitian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara acak dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Analisis dan interpretasi data menunjukkan indikasi; Pertama, adanya pengaruh supervisi akademik langsung positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerjaguru dengan koefisien jalur0,249. Kedua, adanya pengaruh kerja sama tim secara langsung positif terhadap efektivitas kerja guru dengan koefisien jalur0,557. Ketiga, adanya pengaruh supervisi akademik secara langsung positif terhadap kerja sama tim dengan koefisien jalur 0,383. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, efektivitas kerja guru dapat ditingkatkan dengan supervisi akademik yang dilakukan secara tepat. Kerjasama tim melalui koordinasi, aktivitas interpersonal, tanggung jawab, dukungan antara individu dan kerjasama dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kerja guru. LEADERSHIP AND TRUST ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT ON THE SCHOOL COUNSELORS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. The objective of this research is aimed at obtaining the information that related to the effects of leadership, trust and the organizational commitment, of the teacher of junior high school in Pasar Minggu District, South of Jakarta. The method used ia a survey by structured interview with a sample of 22 school counselors of junior high school in Pasar Minggu District, South of Jakarta. The data collected were processed by path analysis. The result proved that the trust was directly affected by leadership. There are direct effects of the leadership on organizational commitment and there are direct effects of the trust on organizational commitment. However, there is an indirect effect of leadership on organizational commitment through trust. The result can be concluded that two factors should be considered in the improvement of the organizational commitment.

This study uses hypothesis testing with multiple regression and partial regression analysis. Multiple regression is used to test the fourth hypothesis concerning the relationship of giving certification allowance to motivation and work discipline of teacher, while for hypodesis testing one, two and three used partial test, that is to know relation of giving of certification allowance with motivation and relation giving certification allowance to discipline teacher work and motivational relationships and work discipline of teachers. The results showed that there was a relationship between certification allowance with motivation with significance value of 0.444 with medium category. There is a relationship between certification allowance and teacher work discipline with significance value of 0.469 with medium category. There is a relationship between motivation and discipline of junior high school teachers in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency with a significance value of 0.661 with strong category. There is a correlation between certification allowance with motivation and discipline of junior high school teacher in Oksibil Pegunungan Bintang Regency 0,502 with medium category. Keywords:  Provision of Teacher Certification Allowance, Motivation, Teacher Work Discipline

This study was aimed at determining the direct and indirect effects of leadership style, organizational culture and motivation on the performance of the junior high school principals. This study used survey methods with quantitative approaches and path analysis (path analysis) as a research design. The research respondents were 100 heads of Junior high schools located in Jakarta. The data collection was done through research instruments in the form of questionnaires using Likert scale models. Before analyzing the data with path analysis, a number of statistical tests were carried out first which became a requirement in the path analysis, namely: Error Normality Test; Homogeneity Test; and Test the significance and linearity of the regression coefficient. The results show a direct influence of some factors namely leadership style on the work motivation of the principal; organizational culture on the work motivation of the principal; leadership style on the performance of principals; organizational culture on the performance of principals; work motivation on the performance of the principal. Indirect influences were also found in two factors namely leadership on the performance of principals through motivation and organizational culture factor on the performance of principals through motivation.PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, BUDAYA ORGANISASI, MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja kepala SMP Negeri, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif  dan analisis jalur (path analysis) sebagai desain penelitian. Responden penelitian adalah 100 kepala SMP Negeri di DKI Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner melalui model skala likert. Sebelum melakukan analisis data dengan analisis jalur terlebih dulu dilakukan beberapa uji statistik yang menjadi syarat dalam analisis jalur yaitu: Uji Normalitas Galat; Uji Homogenitas; serta Uji signifikansi dan linearitas koefisien regresi. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa terdapat: pengaruh langsung gaya kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi kerja kepala sekolah; pengaruh langsung budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja kepala sekolah; pengaruh langsung gaya kepemimpinan  terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah; pengaruh langsung budaya organisasi  terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah; pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah; pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah melalui motivasi; dan pengaruh tidak langsung budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah melalui motivasi.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of Principal Leadership (KS), namely leadership as educator, leadership as manager, leadership as administrator, leadership as supervisor, leadership as leader, leadership as innovator, leadership as motivator (EMASLIM) on the teaching climate. The methodology used in this research is descriptive method, documentation study method, and path analysis technique. The results of the study concluded that 1) The leadership of the principal at the Cirebon Plot 2 Middle School was considered very good; This shows that principals are able to carry out their duties as Educators, Managers, Administrators, Supervisors, Leaders, Innovators, Motivators; (2) the teaching climate at the Cirebon Plot 2 Junior High School is considered very good. This shows that the principal is able to create an effective, efficient and conducive teaching climate.

The purpose of this research is  to  determine the influence of managerial ability and creativity on headmaster’s decision making in Junior High School of Counties and Tangerang City.             The research used survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. Technique of data collecting is using instrument in the form of questionnaire. The number of 60 headmaster’s as sample by simple was selected random sampling. The result of this research indicated that : 1) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to headmaster’s decision making, 2) there is a direct positive effect of creativity to headmaster’s decision making and 3) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to creativity.

Positive intentions and attitudes to not smoking are strong predictors of adolescent non-smoking behavior in the future. The purpose of this study was to identify the attitudes and intentions of adolescents to behave non-smoking in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. Data in the form of questionnaires distributed to 400 adolescents who study in junior high school and senior high school in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta. the data is then analyzed using path analysis using the stata 13 program. The results there is a direct influence on the intention of adolescents not to smoke towards non-smoking behavior of adolescents in the Kulon Progo Regency of Yogyakarta (b = 1.45; 95% CI = 1.45 to 2.49; p <0.001).There is a direct influence on the attitude of adolescents not to smoke towards non-smoking behavior of adolescents in the Kulon Progo Regency of Yogyakarta (b = 1.17; 95% CI = 0.66 to 1.69; p <0.001). the conclusion there is a direct influence of smoking attitudes and intentions on adolescent non-smoking behavior. There is an indirect influence of attitudes through the intention to adolescent non-smoking behavior in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta.
