The development of practical phonetics courses addressed to a foreign audience is based on the analysis of the typological features of the phonetic system of the target language in the context of linguodidactics. It is necessary to designate two important areas of typological research of the sound structure of the Russian language: the study of the relationship of consonantism and vocalism in its phonetic system against a foreign language background and the analysis of positional rules of the Russian phonetic system in comparison with the functioning of sound units in typologically different languages. Idiomatic character of the language is most clearly manifested in the positional patterns of its sound structure. In each language, positional patterns are specific and are determined by the dominance of paradigmatic or syntagmatic relations of sound units. A large number of phonologically significant deviations in a foreign accent are due to the interfering influence of the positional laws of the native language on the Russian speech of students.

This article considers the remnants of Russian ritual practices surrounding houses in the Priangun’ie region of China. This region was populated by Russians from the late 19th century on. A large group of immigrants (Russian, Tungus and Buriat) immigrated there from the Transbaikal region of Russia after the establishment of Soviet rule in the early 20th century. The paper examines what remains of Russian traditional practices, how they have been blended with native Chinese traditions, and adapted over time to reflect intermarriage between people of Chinese or Tungus and Russian descent.

Purpose: finding the optimal way of transferring knowledge of the Russian language to students. Methods: comparative, analysis and synthesis of the studied phenomenon - methods that make it possible to determine the advantages and disadvantages of teaching the Russian language. Results. The conceptual and technological search for the achievement of knowledge by students is associated with the ability of teachers to teach students to love their native language, hoping to endow literature in the educational process with a special status - a mentor of the soul, a giver of experience, an inspirer of thought. Teaching and learning to love the Russian language is an extremely important task, since the success of the entire educational process, the success of personality formation, depends on this love and respect for the native language. The adjusted dosage of the presentation of knowledge deprives the student of the vision of the entire language system and does not instill a flair for the language, and most importantly, admiration for the native language. Conclusions. The article emphasizes the importance of teaching students the Russian language as a necessary condition for the success of the entire educational process. When teaching the Russian language, it is advisable to rely on the linguistics of the traditional approach, enriched by the research of linguodidacts, taking into account the achievements in the development of technologies of the modern approach, including computer ones, seeking to improve the student's linguistic self-expression and interest in learning their native language, as well as in literature - a guide for students into the world of great culture.

The concept “sootechestvenniki” is one of the key tools for self-description of society; it is an instrument for drawing borderlines between “we” and “they”. The article describes the development of the meaning of this word since its coinage. The word appeared in the 18th century as a merger of the Old Slavic and Old Russian ‘otechestvo’ (fatherland, understood as one’s place of origin) and the French ‘compatriot’. This merger resulted in the formation of two new prototypical meanings: one is civic, collective and elevated, and the other gravitates to ethnicity since it is used to refer to Russians. With the strengthening of state institutions in Russia, the first meaning was bound to dominate and it did at the beginning of the 19th century. However, one should speak not about the synthesis, but rather about the discordance of the two meanings. In the 19th century, another meaning developed in the semantic structure of the word: ethnic Russians living abroad. Gradually, the word acquired new evaluative meanings, while negative connotations still prevailed. The basic oppositions (we — they, here — there, ours — alien) interacted in an ambiguous way, substituting each other. A variety of hybrid “compatriots” arose: we are there, they are here, etc. The heterogeneity of the semantics of the word reflects collisions within society, which faced a tragic internal split in the 20th century.

Bible words have recently become the focus of linguists’ attention. They are viewed as separate vocabulary group in the system of nominative, expressive and metaphorical means of the Russian language. This paper examines the evolution of Bible words functioning in S. Yesenin’s poems from religious humanism to expressing revolutionary protest. Functioning patterns and techniques of desacralization are studied. The results of Yesenin’s poems analysis demonstrate that the poet used Bible words to convey the message that secular and sacred worlds can overlap. The topic of religious humanitarianism is developed on the basis of desacralization of Bible words that further actualize the meaning of sacrificing for the sake of Revolution. Against-God motives that were characteristic for the literary works of the early 20th century appear in Yesenin’s poetry. Reinterpretation of Bible words in various contexts in literary works definitely indicates their importance for poetic texts, and studying their functioning patterns in different type of discourse could be the focus for a number of further research works.

In recent years, the situation with the Russian language presence in the CIS and foreign countries has changed. Statesmen of range of former Soviet republics in their plans to involve schoolchildren and students in further development of relations with Russia and encourage the use, the Russian language in their work, consider the possibility of the labor market expansion, closer cooperation in the sphere of education in Russian largest universities, and of science partnership with Russian scientific institutions. Europe, Asia and Africa face an increase in interest in the studying of the Russian language. Homever, its position declines in some countries, for example in Germany. En addition, this is often associated with the desire to learn Russian language in order to embrace national Russian values.
