The teacher ability to use instructional model is one of efforts to ease the teaching learning process. Teacher activity to use cooperative learning model with STAD type (students Achievement Division) engage students to participate actively in the classroom. Teacher acts as a facilitator to help students to achieve instructional goals in the concept of human reproductive system. Teachers need to use teaching strategies that facilitate students in following the teaching materials as well as get full information from various sources. Each teacher can manage the classroom as a solid team among students by selecting a heterogenous members of the group from different category such as low level, clever, very clever to work together and to enable them to participate actively in their group. Therefore the model of Cooperative Learning Team Achievement Division can help students and teachers to conduct an active teaching and learning process in the classroom. In the end, it is expected that a heterogenous cooperative group can result to a better learning outcomes in the concept of human reproductive system.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap siswa. Penelitian ini didesain dengan metode Quasi Experiment dengan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar kelas XI IPA 1 yang melibatkan 23 siswa dan lima observer serta satu guru biologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa modul untuk pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia dengan pendekatan CTL terdiri dari tujuan pembelajaran, pokok bahasan, contoh kasus, uraian materi dan evaluasi yang dilengkapi dengan LKS/pedoman untuk aktivitas konstruktivisme, inkuiri, masyarakat belajar, bertanya, pemodelan, refleksi dan penilaian sebenarnya. Berdasarkan tanggapan dari peserta didik dan guru dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia dengan pendekatan CTL telah mampu mengaitkan materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi kehidupan nyata siswa. Siswa dapat membangun pengetahuan melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam proses belajar mengajar dan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep sistem reproduksi manusia meningkat (N-gain = 71%) dan dapat meningkatkan sikap terhadap sistem reproduksi (N-gain = 50%). Kata Kunci: Sistem Reproduksi Manusia, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Pemahaman Konsep dan Sikap Siswa. This study was conducted to apply Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to human reproductive system to improve students' understanding of concepts and attitudes. This study was designed with Quasi Experimental methods by One Group Pretest-posttest design. It was conducted in MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar class XI IPA 1 involving 23 students and five observer as well as a biology teacher. The results of this study found that the design of modules for teaching human reproduction system with CTL approach consists of learning objectives, subject matter, case examples, description and evaluation materials. Learning CTL have 7 activities which must be applied in teaching learning process namely constructivism, inquiry, learning society, questioning, modelling, reflection and authentic assessment. Based on the feedbacks got from students and teachers, it can be concluded that the application of CTL approach to the concept of the human reproductive system have been able to relate the material taught to students' real life situations. Students can construct knowledge through active involvement in the learning process. Their understanding of the concept of the human reproductive system was increases. This research aimed to improve active learning through students’ PowerPoint presentations in the fisrt grade students of nursing class of Private Vocational High School Serang City 2015/2016 academic year. The method used was Classroom Action Research which consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was carried out in three cycles and the data of this study was gathered through: (1) Student’ presentations, (2) observations, and (3) students computer use survey. The results showed that there was improvement of active learning in the teaching and learning process of nursing class students. In the first cycle, 62,5% of 32 students performed their presentation poorly. Some causes, students were not familiar to practice oral presentation in English, 25% did their presentation satisfactorily and only 12,5% of them performed pretty good presentation in the classroom. After intensive classroom and practices, in cycle II explained that 40,63% students did their presentation poorly. 33,3% could present their topics satisfactorily and 28,13% students performed much better and some of them did their presentation with their better way. Cycle III revealed clearly that students speaking skills were getting better after they were given additional time for much practices on how to deliver a good presentation and operate computer program. It can be seen 21,8% students performed satisfactorally, 40,6% students presented their good performance, and 37,5% did their best performances in delivering English presentation. The application of PowerPoint presentation with the integration of media in computer program can engage Students interest in learning, motivate them to practice presentation orally and improve their speaking skills. In conclusion active learning through students’ PowerPoint presentations could increase the active teaching and learning process. Students also learned technology which is very helpful for their study and future career. This study, therefore, suggests that teachers consider this aid in teaching-learning processes.

Abstract Many instructional strategies play an important role in science learning, especially for cooperative learning. This research study is to observe and analyze how the student cooperates in teaching and learning of science in online learning. This research used qualitative research methods, and observation and interviews as a tool to collect the data. The observations were conducted at an international junior high school in Kota Bandung, included 15 female students and 1 teacher as participants. Instruments of research that we used are the rubric of the teaching-learning process, the rubric of student activity, and the rubric of the cooperative learning model. From the data analysis, the learning model used in this online class meeting is proper enough for it is fulfilled the syntax of cooperative learning. So Cooperative learning models can be a good way to teach much content at a time effectively. However, managing students to be more active is needed in the learning process.

<p>This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete <br />picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent. </p><p> </p>

In response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, most of the higher education institutions (HEIs) across the globe have replaced conventional teaching with online teaching. However, the technological preparedness of countries of varied nature differs significantly. In this context, the purpose of the study is to answer the following research question: how are the HEIs mitigating the difficulties that have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate online teaching–learning process? The study is carried out based on a cross-sectional study from 281 academic professionals who are employed in HEIs in India and Ethiopia. The findings from this comparative study highlight that digital divide and lack of institutional preparedness are found to be major problems that constrained the effective implementation of online teaching/learning. Besides, this study also found that training programmes for the faculty members to utilize web resources and facilitate online teaching were found to be limited in both the countries. The article concludes by offering suggestions and policy advice to minimize the digital divide and for successful implementation of online teaching in HEIs.

In Teaching-learning process on class, teacher playing vital role for reaching planned education purpose. But that not an easy case, because there are many problems occur in class. Those problems have to be eliminated, and the way to do that is by using class room research. Class room action research is designed to solved a teaching-learning process on class. Class room action research purposed repairing learning process simultaniusly. Class room action research conducted simultaniously to repairing teaching-learning process naturally without disturbing teaching learning process it self. Class room action research conducted based on cycle. Each cycle play vital role fo the next cycle. By conducting training activity for education sports teachers for making and designing a classroom research, they will solve the problems occur in teaching-learning process. By developing education sports teacher ability in class room research will lead the educational purposed to optimal result. Training designed by using classical models, including: discussing, interview, guiding, and assinment. At the end of the training process, every education sports teaching producing one class room action research proposal and making one research based on their own class problem.

The aims of this research are: 1) to investigate the effectiveness of cooperative teaching practice using STAD type in the topic of comparison; 2). investigate whether the learning outcome of the students who were involved in cooperative learning process is better than those who were involved in conventional learning process in the topic of comparison. This research was quasi experimental research. The samples of this research were the students of VIIA as the experimental classroom and the students of VIIB as the control classroom. Based on the descriptive analysis, it was concluded that the use of cooperative learning using STAD type in the topic of comparison in SMPN II Megaluh was proven effective with criteria 1) students mastery reach 87.09%, 2) the students active participation is effective, 3) the teachers capability in managing classroom is effective, 4) the students response of the teaching and learning practice are positive. Based on the analysis by using inferential t-test, it was gained ttest= 2.197 and ttest > ttable,. It means the students learning outcome using cooperative teaching and learning process was better than those using conventional teaching and learning process in SMPN II Megaluh Jombang, academic year 2013/2014.

The aims of this study are to develop a cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Heads Together). The typeis feasible (valid, practical, and effective) and can to practice communication skills, learning outcomes in the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution in the second semester students of class X State High School 1 Peso. Development of the learning is done based on the models of four-D. This study use done group pretest posttest design. Based on research data obtain findings: the validity of the research developed a good categorized; text book readability level students the developed a good category; good categorized enforceability of RPP; student’s dominant activity is to communicate information ideas/ opinions, ask questions, and presentations with the percentage of 18.88%; the obstacles encountered during the implementation of the learning device that students are not familiar with the cooperative model type NHT (Numbered Heads Together) and the majority of students are less active in the learning process; students responded positively to the learning process; teaching and learning process using cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Heads Together) is able to practice the students communication skills; and student learning outcomes after participating in the learning process is completed 100%. The conclusion of this studyis the cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Heads Together) feasible (valid, practical, andeffective) used to practice communication skills and learning out comes on the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together) yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif), melatihkan keterampilan berkomunikasi serta mengetahui hasil belajar pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit pada siswa kelas X semester II SMA Negeri 1 Peso. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dilakukan berdasarkan model four-D. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan data penelitian diperoleh beberapa temuan:validitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori baik; tingkat keterbacaan Buku Ajar Siswa yang dikembangkan berkategori tepat untuk pembelajaran; keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik; aktivitas siswa yang dominan adalah mengkomunikasikan informasi ide/pendapat, bertanya, dan presentasi dengan persentase 18,88%; hambatan yang ditemui selama penerapan perangkat pembelajaran yaitu siswa belum terbiasa dengan model kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together) dan sebagian siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap proses pembelajaran; pembelajarankooperatif tipe NHT(Numbered Heads Together) dapat melatihkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa; dan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti proses belajar mengajar adalah tuntas 100%.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together) layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif) digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan hasil belajar pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit.

The main purpose of teaching learning English in Junior High School to develop the students’ competence and knowledge in four language skills, Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. One of the difficult skills is writing. In this research are describe how are the uses, problems, and solutions of the use of Literacy Approach to Teach Writing of Descriptive Text At The Seventh Grade Students of SMPN 1 Ngebel.  Literacy approach is one of the approaches used to teach writing especially in descriptive text because Literacy approach is the ability to read and write. There are some step of teaching writing, they are planning, composing, and revising. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Participant/Informant of the research are the English teacher and the seventh grade students of SMPN I Ngebel Ponorogo. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The techniques which are used to collect the data are observation, interview, and documentation. Techniques of the data analysis are data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The result of the analyzing data indicates that the uses of literacy approach in teaching writing of descriptive text are divided into two steps. The first is preparation steps and the second is learning process. The learning process uses literacy approach includes introduce and giving explanation the descriptive text, give the modal of the descriptive text and have text to analyze, make group work to discussion the students’ ideas, give the chance to make students’ own product and also checking the students’ understanding about the material. Besides, the problem of the use literacy approach in writing of descriptive text are sometimes the students are noisy in the classroom and their vocabulary are still low. The students feel afraid to deliver their opinion and ideas in teaching and learning process. The solution of the use literacy approach in writing of descriptive are the students must make group work of the students’ worksheet, Teacher controls the students and gives scores for students.

Technology is a means of accomplishing a task mainly by using technical processes, methods, or knowledge.The importance of technology in connection with any type of development is widely recognized, especially having considering nowadays’ worldwide Covid-19 context.The passage from standardized to digitalized teaching-learning process hasn’t been easy. Information technology and educational technology are now extensively being used in schools and refer to a wide multitude of teaching-and-learning–related software and hardware used during the lessons. Learning becomes effective when the students are actively engaged, are collaborating with one another, are in charge of their learning process, become critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers. Scientific thinking appears when thinking about the content of science and the set of reasoning processes that permeate the field of science: induction, deduction, experimental design, causal reasoning, concept formation, hypothesis testing, and so on, are combined. Simultaneously, teachers continue their lifelong learning process online, design digital lessons, gamify lessons, obtain real time results, are part of the staffroom at school and also part of a larger, more diverse, virtual staffroom. In conclusion, the goal of using technology inside and outside the classroom is perceived as a way to individualize education and to develop students’ competences and cognitive skills.
