Quasi-experimental study design with the pre-test and post-test is aimed to obtain objectiveinformation about the effectiveness of cooperative learning type STAD in improving students' mathematical understanding of class V MIN. The population of this study is student of class VMIN in the city of Banda Aceh. Based on the results of data analysis, improving the ability ofmathematical understanding in the experimental class and control class is quietly different in terms of level of school (good, adequate and low). The difference increased capability is then tested statistically by ANOVA test using two pathways with significance level (α) = 0,05. From the results of different test can be concluded that the increased understanding ofmathematical abilities of students through cooperative learning type STAD better than on improving the understanding of mathematical abilities of students through conventional learning.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of VAK learning model on the learning achievement of PAI in class V Tlogomulyo Waterford Elementary School. This study was a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experimental). Subjects in this study consisted of 26 students of class V. The data was collected using VAK learning guidelines, test learning Islamic education, observation, documentation, and interviews. The validity of the instrument showing of 10 items proved to be valid all, are the results of the analysis show the reliability coefficient of 0.710 and otherwise reliable. Analysis of the data used in the form of comparative analysis using t-test. The results showed that there are significant implementation VAK learning model significantly to the learning outcomes of Islamic education. It can be seen from the difference in learning achievement Islam shortly before and after the given method VAK, the t value of 0.828 and significance level (p) of 0.05. In addition, an increase in the average acquisition value before application of VAK learning model (pre-test = 71.9) and after application of VAK learning model (post-test = 87.3). This shows an increase in the average value of 15.4. By looking at the difference in the score of the pre test and post test, shows that the VAK learning model is a model of effective learning for learning PAI.

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the cooperative learning model type student team's achievement division has on basketball shoot lay-up skills. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The type of research design used was the non-equivalent group design. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalengka in 2019 totaling 424 students. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 214 students consisting of class XI IPS 1-4 and XI MIPA 7-8. The experimental group class XI IPS 1-2 and XI MIPA, control group class XI IPS 3-4 and XI MIPA 8. The results showed that the mean pre-test lay-up shoot of the experimental group was 4.09 while the control group was 3.92. The mean post-test shoot lay-up of the experimental group was 6.76 while the control group was 4.72. Furthermore, by looking at 95% confidence interval of the difference, there is a difference between the shoot lay-up results of the experimental group and the control group, which is -0.190 to 2.412. Thus, it can be concluded that STAD is effective in improving basketball shoot lay-up skills.

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes achieved by students on the subjects of Basic Electrical and Electronics which is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set a school that is 75 This is presumably because they are learning is often used during the learning model is applied directly proven yet effective. The purpose of this research is to reveal how much influence the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to study the results of class X students on subjects TAV Basic Electricity and Electronics. This research is an experimental study with a draft Post-test only control group design. The sample were students of class X TAV at SMK 1 Padang Academic Year 2014 / 2015. Class experiment is treated using Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model and the control group is a class that uses the direct teaching model. The data is taken from the test results in the form of learning about the objective as many as 31 items. Data were analyzed manually to test for normality, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. The result of the calculation hypothesis at significance level α = 0.05 was found that t count> t table is 3.35> 1.670. The results of these tests give an interpretation that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that on average significantly experimental class learning outcomes greater than the average control class learning outcomes.  Key words :   Models of Learning, Jigsaw, Learning Direct, Post-test only control group design, Learning outcomes, Experimental, and Control.

Objective: To determine the effect of husband's support in the implementation of oxytocin massage by midwife on the production and time of colostrum secretion among post C-Section delivery women.Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a post-test only group design at hospital in DIY in April-June 2020. The samples consisted of 32 respondents, 16 post C-Section delivery women with oxytocin massage who received husband's support and 16 respondents with oxytocin massage without husband’s support. The preparation of husband’s support was conducted through training by midwife to the husbands using a booklet for 80 minutes. Data analysis in this study used univariate, Independent t-test, and MANOVA with a significance level of 95%.Results: Evaluation showed that 68.75% of post C-Section delivery women received good husband’s support. The mean colostrum production in the oxytocin massage group by midwife with husband's support was 3.61 cc and the mean time of colostrum secretion was 4.13 hours better than oxytocin massage without husband's support.Conclusion: Husband's support in the implementation of oxytocin massage by midwife had an effect on the production and time of colostrum secretion among post C-Section delivery women with p-value <0.0001.

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of a teaching materials based on local wisdom in jigsaw learning model to skill of writing description. The method used in this study is a quasi experimental design with two groups: the experimental class and control class. The results showed differences in the skills of writing description between the two classes. In the control class tend to not experience a significant increase, while the experimental class increased. The average value of the current skill of writing description in control class pretest to post-test by 61.25 to 71.40, increased 15.57% with average value of n-gain 0.274 in low category. Meanwhile, the average value in experimental class pretest to post-test by 61.22 to 83.31, increased 36.08% with average value of n-gain 0.570 in medium category. The difference of gain indicates that a teaching materials based on local wisdom in jigsaw learning model effectively used to improve the skills of writing description.   Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dalam model pembelajaran teknik jigsaw terhadap keterampilan menulis deskripsi. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kelas kontrol cenderung tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen terjadi peningkatan. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis deskripsi kelas kontrol pada prates 61.25 pascates 71.40 peningkatan sebesar 16.57% dengan rata-rata n-gain 0.274 termasuk kategori rendah. Sementara itu, nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis deskripsi kelas eksperimen saat prates 61,22 pada pascates menjadi 83,31 peningkatan sebesar 36.08% dengan rata-rata n-gain 0.570 termasuk kategori sedang. Perbedaan peningkatan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dalam model pembelajaran teknik jigsaw efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis deskripsi. The research method uses quasi experimental design with post test only control design. The subject of research was 44 students which constitutes two classes, experiment and control classes. The data collection employs test and questionnaire. The data was analyzed using Two-way Anova test. The results show that cooperative learning model Jigsaw type hasa significant effect on student’s conceptual understanding. The ANOVA test produce significant level below 0.05, which indicates there is significant effect of the Jigsaw model and learning motivation on student achievement. It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model contributes better to learning achievement than conventional learning model, and a high learning motivation contributes better to students learning achievement in citizentship subject than a low learning motivation.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan motivasi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep PPKn siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran ceramah untuk mencapai  hasil belajar yang lebih baik, dan bahwa siswa dengan motivasi belajar yang tinggi lebih baik daripada siswa dengan motivasi belajar yang rendah dalam penggunaan atau pemanfaatan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dan hasil belajarnya.

Abstrak: tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik; (2) untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi  dengan siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal rendah; (3) untuk mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Metode dalam penelitian quasi-eksperimen. Desain penelitian faktorial 2 x 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD; (2) Hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal rendah; dan (3)             Terdapat nteraksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan kecerdasan interpersonal dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar PAK.  Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, kooperatif tipe JIGSAW dan STAD, kecerdasan interpersonal, pendidikan agama katolik Abstract: the objectives of this study are (1) to find out the differences in student learning outcomes that are taught using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the STAD type cooperative learning model in Catholic Religious Education subjects; (2) to find out the difference in learning outcomes of students who have high interpersonal intelligence and students who have low interpersonal intelligence; (3) to determine the interaction between learning models and interpersonal intelligence in influencing the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education. Methods in quasi-experimental research. 2 x 2 factorial research design. The results showed that: (1) The learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education students with a jigsaw type cooperative learning model were better than the STAD type cooperative learning model; (2) The learning outcomes of students who have high interpersonal intelligence are better than the learning outcomes of students who have low interpersonal intelligence; and (3) There is interaction between cooperative learning models and interpersonal intelligence in influencing PAK learning outcomes. Keywords: learning models, JIGSAW and STAD cooperative types, interpersonal intelligence, catholic religious education

This study aimed to identify the Effect of Using EDRAAK Educational Platform on the Academic Achievement among the Tenth Graders and Their Attitudes towards It, the sample of the study consisted of (50) students from the tenth grade in the Petra District Education Directorate, who were randomly divided into two groups (experimental and control). The researchers used the quasi-experimental approach, and the study tools consisted of a multiple-choice test of (20) items to measure student achievement, and an attitudes scale consisting of (24) items, and the results of the study showed There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) for teaching using EDRAAK platform on the achievement of tenth grade students in basic mathematics, where the value of t = 3.616 and by looking at the average achievement of the members of the two study groups (experimental and control) on the post-test we find that the difference is due to the average achievement of the experimental group students, which reached (10.64), while the average achievement of the control group on the post-test was (7.24). The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) for teaching using EDRAAK educational platform on the attitudes of the tenth grade basic students towards mathematics, where the value of t = 2.42, and by looking at the average trends of the members of the two study groups (experimental and control) on the post-test (attitudes), we find that the differences between the averages of students attitudes on the post-test are in the interest of the group’s students the experimental group reached (2.89), while the average attitudes of the control group students reached (2.68). The researchers recommend the necessity of adopting educational platforms as an integral part of the education process in the schools of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of the use of the systemic approach to improve students’ understanding on adjectives materials related to the use, usage, synonym, antonym, spelling, pronunciation, collocation, meaning, and order. This research employed a quasi-experimental design. The populations were the third-semester students of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar in academic year 2017/2018. The sample consisted of 40 students chosen from two classes by using purposive sampling technique then were divided into two groups, namely experimental and control group. The difference between experimental and control class was based on the teaching technique used during the treatment. While the experimental class was taught by using systemic approach, control class was taught by using the conventional method.The instruments of this research were adjective tests. The data was analyzed by using statistical analysis on SPSS for Windows 20.0 program. As per data, experimental group experienced improvement on their understanding on adjectives in terms of use, usage, meaning, spelling, pronunciation, synonym, antonym, collocation, and order indicated by the post-test mean score (77.1) which was significantly higher than that of the control class (59.7) and the gain of experimental group (31.2) which was higher than control group (17.4). Another supporting indicator is the t-test value which was higher than the t-table value (4.022 > 1.75). Furthermore, the researcher found that the element of adjective which experienced most significant increase on its mastery happened on the usage, while the lowest one was the collocation. The result of this research indicated that there was significant improvement between experimental and control class. It means that systemic approach that was applied in experimental group can improve the students’ mastery on adjectives material. Thus it was concluded that the systemic approach was effective to improve students’ on adjectives.
