The purpose of this study is to find out the Islamic values internalized to the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik students who take Baitul Arqam and to find out the factors that influence the internalization of Islamic values to the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) students who take Baitul Arqam. This study employed a qualitative approach that used observations, interviews, and documentation in data collection. The data was analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. This research found that the internalization of Islamic values through the Baitul Arqam considered successful, in terms of cultivating morality, such as respecting lecturers and parents, the morals of fellow human beings, morals in doing daily interaction (mu’āmalah), as well as morality in worship. Supporting activities such as compulsory congregational prayers, sunnah prayers, and reciting Quran is also very important. Yet, there still needs to be a harder effort to motivate students to join Baitul Arqam wholeheartedly (ikhlās). Since this is a basis to gain knowledge according to Islamic perspectives.

This study aims to describe Reyog Ponorogo from the historical aspect, the negative stigma that has accompanied its development, and local wisdom that spreads to all its components. This problem is studied using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews with data collection tools is the researcher himself as a key instrument. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analytical with the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are as follows; (1) Reyog Obyog is an important and inseparable part of Reyog Ponorogo. In fact, it is very possible that Reyog Obyog is the origin of the Reyog Ponorogo which has developed and is known to the public today; (2) Reyog Obyog performance model which tends to be free, not bound by standards, is performed in the audience and is predominantly filled with entertainment, in its development various negative stigmas have emerged in the community, namely eroticism, drunkenness, and mystical performance rituals; (3) The Reyog Obyog has a great value in the form of a noble life guidance which is strategic enough to be used as a medium for building civilization.

This study aim to explain phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria and describing the triggering factors of conflict Syria and the analysis of Alawie group in Syria. The type of this study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, because the data collection techniques used make books and documents related to the Arab spring in Syria as a reference frame, as well as some data from a valid website. Data analysis techniques through three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions in which data verification is also accompanied by triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria converged on inter-ethnic conflict that occurred between the Sunni-Alawie, then triggered by the phenomenon of Arab spring that spread in the Middle East.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan proses perumusan visi dan misi sekolah; (2) mendeskripsikan strategi yang dibuat sekolah dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi; (3) mendeskripsikan gambaran ketercapaian dari visi yang telah dibuat sekolah; (4) mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi sekolah dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi selama ini; dan (5) menemukan strategi yang efektif dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi yang telah dirumuskan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Data dianalisis melalui proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) proses perumusan visi dan misi sekolah dilakukan melalui rapat internal yang dibuat oleh kepala sekolah dengan memperhatikan visi lembaga di atas sekolah, nilai-nilai dalam masyarakat, dan relevansi dengan perkembangan zaman; (2) strategi yang dibuat ketiga sekolah memang sedikit berbeda-beda namun pada dasarnya dapat dianalisis dengan dimensi proses, konten, dan konteks; (3) visi ketiga sekolah dapat dikatakan belum tercapai karena beberapa unsur yang ada di dalam visi belum sepenuhnya terwujud; (4) sumber daya manusia, pendanaan, metode, sarana prasarana, kepemimpinan sekolah, dan komunikasi mempengaruhi ketercapaian dari visi dan misi sekolah; dan (5) strategi yang efektif dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan cara membangun harapan individu menjadi visi bersama, membuat prioritas pembangunan dengan indikator ketercapaiannya, membangun motivasi berprestasi, meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua, dan membangun kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak. Kata kunci: strategi mewujudkan visi dan misi STRATEGIES IN ACTUALIZING VISION AND MISSION SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN DISTRICT KASIHAN, BANTUL Abstract This study aims to: (1) describe the formulation of schools’ vision and missions; (2) describe the schools’ strategies to actualize the vision and mission; (3) describe the illustration of vision and missions achievement formulated by schools; (4) identify factors that affect the schools in actualizing their visions and missions; and (5) find an effective strategy to actualize the vision and mission. The study used a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology. Data were analyzed through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results of the study: (1) the process formulation of schools’ vision and missions was done by internal meeting conducted by the headmaster by considering higher institution’s vision, values in society, and relevance of current development (2) strategies designed by those three schools are little bit different and can be basically analyzed with the dimension of process, content, and context (3) the schools’ visions were said to be not yet achieved since some elements/components of vision and mission have not been completed (4) human’s resource, funding, methods, facility and infrastructure, leadership in school, and communication affect the actualization of schools’ visions and missions, and (5) effective strategy to actualize vision and missions of schools can be done by uniting individual expectation into shared vision, creating development priority along with its achievement indicator, building achievement motivation, increasing parent’s participation, and building partnership with any stakeholders. This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of a subscription parking policy in Sidoarjo Regency as well as supporting and inhibiting the implementation of a subscription parking policy in Sidoarjo Regency. The type of this research is descrip- tive research with qualitative approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation with informants. Data analysis technique uses Miles & Huber- man theory, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of a subscription parking policy in Sidoarjo Regency had not run effectively because the standard operating procedures had not been implemented optimally by the supervisors and carved out a subscription; facilities and infrastructure are inadequate; as well as the salary of supervisors and parking atten- dants subscribers are minimal. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of a subscription parking policy in Sidoarjo Regency has not run effectively related to stan- dard operating procedures, facilities and infrastructure, and the level of compliance of the parking attendants subscription.

This research is motivated by the existence of the problem of illegal levies carried out by the school against students who are not based on certain rules and not through an agreement between the school and parents or also referred to as Illegal Levies. The research was conducted to find out the strategy of the Team Saber Pungli Padang City in an effort to eradicate the education sector illegal fees in Padang City, as well as the obstacles faced and efforts to overcome these obstacles. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The research informants were conducted purposively. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques using source triangulation techniques. Then the data is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions / verification that are carried out during the research process. The results of the study can be concluded that the saber pungli team strategy in eradicating extortion there are several stages, namely: intelligence, prevention through socialization, action and justice. The researcher concluded that the Padang City illegal broom team team strategy had been implemented and for the results had begun optimally, as evidenced by the response from the community about no more illegal fees made by the school against students and reduced public reports of extortion in school. To be more optimal and the success of this strategy, it is better for the team to work together again with all government and community groups to jointly eradicate illegal fees.

The reseacher looks at the ability to remember from several aspects that exist (taking note, accepting and producing). The research was motivated by the ability to remember children in the Kindergarten Plus Marhamah Parupuk Tabing Padang. The research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. To find out what the ability description is like remembering children aged 5-6 years in the Kindergarten Plus Marhamah Parupuk Tabing Padang. The subjects in thi study were children aged 5-6 year in class B1 of Marhamah Padang Kindergarten Plus. Informants from the study were the Marhamah Padang Kindergarten Plus teacher. Data collection techniques used in thi tudy are in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analyisis techniques follow Sugiyono’s steps, namely 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation; and 3) verification. The technique of validating the data in this study is in the form of a triangulation technique. The reults of thi study indicate that the aspect of ability to remember children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Plus Marhamah Parupuk Tabing Padang is well developed. 1) the enlightening aspect, it seems that children pay attention to the learning given by the teacher; 2) aspects of accepting, it seems that children can understand the contents of the leraning provided; 3) the aspect of producing, it is seen the the child is able to produce the work and explain the work to the teacher. The conclusion of this study is the ability to remember children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Plus Marhamah well developed seen through aspects of remembering (remembering, accepting, and producing)

The purpose of this study is to find and explain the language of traders in the interaction of buying andselling in the Kawasan Makam Gus Dur Tebuireng Jombang (KMGD) market. The research method used is adescriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were: 1. Technique survey, 2. Recordingtechnique, 3. Listening technique and 4. Note technique. The data analysis technique uses the followingtechniques: 1. Data collection, 2. Data reduction, 3. Data presentation, 4. Conclusing drawing / verification. In thisstudy, the validity of the data used data triangulation: 1. Technique triangulation, 2. Time triangulation. Theresults of the research that can be formulated that the language expressions used by merchants are Javanese,Indonesian and Madurese.

This research aims to describe the stages and driving factors the formation of ethnic identity of Madurese adolescents who live in Surabaya. This research used qualitative approach with narrative analysis. Participants in this study were Madurese adolescents who lived in Surabaya aged 12-20 years. Data collection uses observation and interview techniques. Data were analyzed by stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) Adolescents form their Madura ethnic identity in Surabaya with the stage; bring back identity, intense interaction in ethnic groups, and implementation of Madurese cultural elements in the Surabaya environment, (2) Factors that encourage them in the formation of ethnic identity come from internal factors (sense of belonging and sense of pride to ethnic identity) and factors of brotherhood solidarity in ethnic groups. Suggestions for further research is to extend the context of research. The next discussion is expected to find obstacles and expand the studies that have been studied previously.

This study aimed to find out a depiction of school policies in the implementation of students’ disciplinary character at SDN 77 of Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu. This study used a qualitative approach, and the subjects were Islamic education teachers, classroom teachers, and the school principal. Subsequently, the data collection techniques of this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis adopted Miles’ et al theory comprised of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. This study concluded that the application of disciplinary character education was integrated into subjects in accordance with the materials and objectives to be achieved and resting upon the school culture including class culture. Class culture referred to the culture associated with the application of disciplinary character education and responsibility as seen from the activities commonly carried out in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Speech acts are actions that are displayed through speech. This means that something like that contains an assumption that the utterances we speak are not really empty speeches without any action content in them, or empty of the current context. Speech acts are divided into three types, namely speech acts of locus, illocution and perlocution. The problems discussed in this research are 1) What are the forms of speech acts between the seller and the buyer at Sumberayu Market, Muncar Banyuwangi? 2) It is included in the category of speech acts whether the utterances uttered by sellers and buyers at Sumberayu Muncar Banyuwangi Market. This study aims to determine the forms of speech acts between sellers and buyers at Sumberayu Muncar Banyuwangi Market, and to find out the meaning contained in the the form of speech acts and including the category of speech acts whether the utterances spoken by the seller and the buyer at Sumberayu Market Muncar Banyuwangi. Researchers here use a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is an approach based on a natural or naturalist background. Research data collection techniques using observation techniques and note-taking techniques, data analysis techniques flow analysis methods which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of the study were speech acts which consisted of 19 forms of conversation consisting of 86 locusive speech acts, 20 illocutionary speech acts, and 14 perlocutionary speech acts which were spoken between sellers and buyers consisting of vegetable sellers, fruit-fruit sellers, ampok rice sellers, traditional hawker sellers, soybean sellers and others.
