Discipline is very important in the life of human beings. In the absence of discipline an individual utilizes his energy in abnormal and antisocial activities. A well disciplined man can develop positive energy or improvement of his personalities. If the citizen of the society and the country are disciplined they establish the higher moral and social values for the development of the society, the country and humanity and the global seenerio. Disciplined behaviour is learned in the childhood from the parents and other family members. The home is considered as Child’s first school and mother is considered as first teacher. Mother teaches her children the lesson of love, honesty, integrity, affection respect for elders and obedience where as father guides sense of responsibility, leadership, security etc. These moral values learnd at home influences the behavior of the child in the school. It is been observed that where the parents are with higher moral values their children are well behaved and disciplined werer as children who didn’t learn moral values at home are the most indiciplined students in their school life. That is why it is the responsibility of the parents to keep an eye and guide their wards to follow higher moral and ethical values, so that children can become a good citizen of the nation.

Technology critique, as taken up by humanistic psychology, has remained grounded in late Heidegger. This critique has had little practical effect on the development of technology and everyday technology use. I postulate reasons for this, which include that this critique regards technology in general rather than specific technologies, overlooking the multistability of any particular technology. I then discuss a different humanistic, phenomenological ground for technology critique from the position that human beings are at home with technology, meaning that technology does not threaten disembodiment or disengagement with any other important components of humanity. I draw inspiration primarily from Don Ihde’s and Marshall McLuhan’s phenomenological, descriptive works on the ways human beings are shaped and extended by technology. I end with a discussion of embodied experience in cyberspace which serves as a model for new humanistic, phenomenological techno-critiques.

Movies are one of the objects of study for Social Psychology because they are not only art or industry; they are a way of socialization. Therefore, movies show behaviour models, social values and norms, and make people react: movies are persuasive. A psycho-social analysis of films is necessary because movies can sometimes display prejudiced negative contents, which could be both explicit or very subtle, and therefore quite dangerous. The authors analyse ten well-known Dis-ney films from the gender perspective: How are men and women shown? What roles do they impersonate? Specifying contents and valuing subtle prejudiced stereotypes will help families to watch them from a different point of view.

AbstractI address options for providing scientific policy advice and explore the relation between scientific knowledge and political, economic and moral values. I argue that such nonepistemic values are essential for establishing the significance of questions and the relevance of evidence, while, on the other hand, such social choices are the prerogative of society. This tension can be resolved by recognizing social values and identifying them as separate premises or as commissions while withholding commitment to them, and by elaborating a plurality of policy packages that envisage the implementation of different social goals. There are limits to upholding the value-free ideal in scientific research. But by following the mentioned strategy, science can give useful policy advice by leaving the value-free ideal largely intact. Such scientific restraint avoids the risk of appearing to illegitimately impose values on the public and could make the advice given more trustworthy.
