This chapter revolves a one-day practice for 200 pedagogy students at three primary schools in the municipality. The practice is completed in March when the students have studied the vocation for eight months. Lectures and seminars build up to this takeover in advance. The week before the day of practice, the students are out in the practice schools and observe the class they are going to take over and talk to the teachers at the school. Practice reports, reflection notes and logbook notes show that no matter what we do to link theory to practice at class, it is the one day in the role of teachers at a school that seems to make the big difference. When students become responsible for a class, they behave in a completely different way than when they are responsible for teaching fellow students. At the practice school, they show up well in advance and take the responsibility they have received. The students’ behaviour after the school takeover may indicate that the experiences from the real world, with associated responsibility, have given increased understanding of the vocation, which in turn contributes to increased motivation for the study programme.

Prevention of antisocial behavior of students today is a significant segment of school work. Teachers, as the bearers of all school activities, have a very important role in the preventive action of the school. Their opinions and attitudes about the ways and possibilities of prevention of antisocial behavior of children and adolescents in school are reflected in their participation in planning and implementation, as well as in the outcomes of the school preventive measures and activities. Starting from the importance of the role of teachers, we decided on a research that aimed to investigate the views of teachers on the prevention of student's antisocial behavior in school practice, more precisely, on the importance of various preventive measures and activities, the difficulties encountered in their implementation, and the opportunities for improving the preventive measures in schools. A total number of 162 teachers from 28 Belgrade primary schools participated in the research. The obtained results indicate that displaying the rules of conduct in school premises, acquainting students and parents with the rules of conduct, their rights and obligations, as well as organizing lectures on violence and the harmfulness of psychoactive substances, are the activities viewed by teachers as the most common preventive activities in school practice. Teachers also singled out thematic workshops as the activities that can give the greatest contribution to the prevention of the problematic student behavior. In contrast, they point out that the lack of parents' interest is the greatest difficulty in achieving the preventive action of the school, whereas the joint action of the key actors in the school work is viewed as one of the most important preconditions for achieving the preventive function of the school. The obtained research results indicate that in school practice more work should be done on the implementation of various preventive activities that would provide different levels and types of support to students and which would include all actors of school work.

Lack of understanding of children's learning can be caused by several factors. One of them is the lack of teacher's role in the learning process at school can cause children's understanding to decrease, especially in elementary school children. The role of teachers in primary schools is still very much needed because elementary school children still lack the comprehension of what they see and hear. With this phenomenon, research is conducted to find out how the role of teachers in learning in schools among elementary school students.

Abstract. Communication is an essential part of mathematics and mathematics education. Communication is also a way to share ideas and classify understanding. Geometry in elementary school (SD) on the one hand is a very strategic mathematics study to encourage mathematics learning towards appreciation and experience of learning by making the learning meaningful. Van Hiele suggests that there are three main elements in the teaching of geometry, namely time, teaching materials, and teaching methods applied. One of the things that hinder a student's geometric thinking skills is the teaching methods employed by teachers in the classroom. The role of teachers in the 21st century includes "teacher as learners - who always improve and renew their knowledge". Teachers should be able to create an independent learning atmosphere which captivates and attracts students to learn in a pleasant atmosphere. One technology that can be applied is learning multimedia. Multimedia in learning covers several aspects of the synergy between text, graphics, images and animation. The use of multimedia is expected to enhance the learning of mathematics as it allows a wider exploration and can improve the presentation of mathematical ideas. Peran guru pada abad ke-21 diantaranya adalah “teacher as learners – who always improve and renew theri knowledge”.

This article investigates the role of relational motives in the saying-is-believing effect ( Higgins & Rholes, 1978 ). Building on shared reality theory, we expected this effect to be most likely when communicators were motivated to “get along” with the audience. In the current study, participants were asked to describe an ambiguous target to an audience who either liked or disliked the target. The audience had been previously evaluated as a desirable vs. undesirable communication partner. Only participants who communicated with a desirable audience tuned their messages to suit their audience’s attitude toward the target. In line with predictions, they also displayed an audience-congruent memory bias in later recall.
