The purpose of this study is to find the design of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development through profit-sharing schemes seen from the perspective of MSMEs actors in East Java - Indonesia. This research was conducted in East Java, Indonesia, selecting research locations carried out randomly and then determining the respondents proportionally. Respondents in this study were 220 MSMEs actors using the proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is warped partial least square to look for the design partially and through intervening. This study uses mudarabah financing and musharakah financing as exogenous variables, principles of profit-sharing distribution as intervening variables, and development of MSMEs as endogenous variables. The findings in this study are the contribution of profit-sharing distribution as an intervening variable in the development of MSMEs through the mudarabah financing scheme and the musharakah financing with the dominance of the musharakah financing. The ideal design of the development of MSMEs is the use of mudarabah financing and musharakah financing by applying the profit-sharing distribution principle following the principles of Islamic Sharia.

The purpose of this research is to partially determine the effect of advertising costs, promotion costs, personal selling costs on sales volume in increasing profits in agribusiness Small and Medium Enterprises in Maros district. This type of quantitative research uses an associative approach which aims to determine the effect and relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable through intervening variables. The sample in the study obtained 21 small and medium enterprises using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis with the help of SPSS and Sobel test. The results showed that advertising costs (X1) and personal selling costs (X3) had a significant effect on sales volume in increasing profits with the calculated value of the Sobel test, the Z1 value obtained was 2.0337 and Z3 was 2.168 > 1.669 and the selling promotion costs ( X2) does not have a significant effect on sales volume in increasing profits in small and medium agribusiness enterprises in Maros district. The value of the calculation of the Sobel test, the Z2 value obtained is -0.4967 < 1.669 (t table N = 63, Prob 5%).

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Entrepreneurship Orientation and Product Innovation on the Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises with Intervening Competitive Advantage Variable. This study uses quantitative data analysis methods, the analysis technique is Partial Least Square (PLS). The reason for choosing to use the PLS method is the testing of the mediating role of an intervening variable. The results of the analysis conducted stated that the Entrepreneurship Orientation did not significantly influence Competitive Advantage and also the Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises. Product Innovation has a significant effect on Competitive Advantage and does not have a significant effect on the Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises and Competitive Advantage does not have a significant effect on the Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises. Entrepreneurship Orientation does not significantly influence Small Medium Enterprises Performance with Intervening Variable Competitive Advantage and Product Innovation has no significant effect on Small Medium Enterprises Performance with Intervening Competitive Advantage Variable

This study aims to determine the effect of literacy variables on zakat, infaq and shadaqah (zis), trust and brand awareness on decisions to distribute zakat and donations. The data processing in this study uses quantitative analysis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis technique with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using the SmartPLS 3.0 statistical software. The instrument used to obtain data is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. In taking the sample obtained by non-probability sampling method using purposive sampling technique, the sample obtained is 95 respondents at the students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The results of this study indicate that the literacy variable zis has a negative and insignificant effect on the decision to distribute zakat and donations through Tokopedia. The trust variable has a positive and significant effect on the decision to distribute zakat and donations through Tokopedia. The Brand Awareness variable has a positive but not significant effect on the decision to distribute zakat and donations through Tokopedia. Variable literacy zis, trust, brand awareness simultaneously influence the decision to distribute zakat and donations by 66.4%. While the remaining 33.6% is explained by other exogenous variables outside of this study. Keywords: Brand Awareness, Trust, Decision to Distribute Zakat and Donations, Literacy ZIS

This study examines the moderating effect of firm size on the relationship between innovation and firm performance of small and medium enterprises in 29 countries in Eastern European and Central Asia. The study also investigates whether the impact of innovation in products and processes on firm performance is affected by financial capital. The method applied is partial least square structural equation modelling. The findings indicate that firm size and the financial capital both moderate and mediate the impact of innovation on firm performance, positively or negatively. The findings have implications for decision makers by highlighting the significance of firm size and financial sources when planning to introduce innovations to enhance firm performance.

The current study is a strategic approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR); the aim is to put forward the factors of CSR activities that enhance its effectiveness for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). To achieve this objective, the factors were extracted from the literature and described along with trusteeship theory of Mahatma Gandhi, and an exploratory study was conducted and data were collected using structured questionnaire based on pretested scale from 158 SMEs and tested using partial least square regression (PLSR). The statistics shows the overall model fit, and the findings indicate a significant relationship with effective CSR. The results of the study are in accordance with the previous research work, and we also find that environment-related CSR and partnership are crucial for the effectiveness of CSR in SMEs, stakeholders’ role are important and SMEs’ CSR practice is still informal. The variables identified from study will help SMEs in establishing a formal approach towards CSR and meeting the needs of business and society in the twenty-first century.
