This study discusses developing a mathematical education (RME) based local theory (LIT) that is valid, practical, and effective on the topic of the lowest common multiple and greatest common factor in grade V of elementary school. The research method used is the type of research design Gravemeijer & Cobb (2013). This research was conducted in three phases, namely conducting experiments, experimenting in class, and conducting a retrospective analysis. Data was collected using document analysis, observation, interviews, field notes, tests, and questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research that has been done, LIT has been approved which is valid, practical, and effective for students' mathematical literacy abilities. Students can solve the problems of LCM and GCF with various activities, namely finding multiples and multiples of fellowship, finding factors and factors of fellowship then resolving problems related to daily life. Keywords: LIT, RME, LCM, CGF.

This study aims to develop a local instruction theory (LIT) based on realistic mathematics education (RME) that is valid, practical, and effective on the topic of multiplication in grade III of elementary school. The research method used is research design type Gravemeijer & Cobb (2013). The research was conducted in three phases, namely preparing for the experiment, experimenting in the classroom, and conducting retrospective analysis. Data was collected using document analysis, observation, interviews, field notes, tests, and questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research that has been carried out, LIT is produced which is valid, practical, and effective against students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Students can find a standard multiplication algorithm with a series of activities, namely finding the product of multiplication with repeated additions, ten multiplications, multiples of multiples of ten, and standard multiplication algorithms. Keywords: LIT, RME, multiplication

The article discusses mathematical literacy in the framework of international assessment studies PISA, TIMSS and STEAM. In this direction, great importance is attached to the expansion of students’ worldview, the development of consciousness and logical thinking, the formation of basic competencies and the work being done in this area.

This research is based on the low level of Indonesian students mathematical literacy test released by PISA in 2015. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of Realistic Mathematics Education Approach and the earlymathematical ability to mathematical literacy in statistical materials. This research uses group design by level 2 x 2. This study was conducted in students of class VIII. The result of this research shows that there is influence of Realistic Mathematics Education Approach and early mathematical ability to mathematical literacy on statistical matter. Beside that, the Realistic Mathematics Education Approach not only increases mathematical literacy in students with high early mathematical skills, but also in students with low early mathematical abilities.

Experimental reforms in the teaching of mathematics incorporating Continental teaching methods were begun in January 1995 in fifteen classes in six primary schools in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The classes were visited in June 1996 by the Secretary of State for Education Mrs Gillian Shephard, by HM Chief Inspector of Schools Mr Chris Woodhead, and by the Opposition spokesman for education Mr David Blunkett; the media, including the BBC television programme, Panorama, provided accounts for the wider public. The reforms resulted from a wider research programme—comparing Continental and British productivity, education and vocational training—that has been under way at the National Institute for over a decade, by a research team led by SJ Prais; in recent years the research has benefited from close co-operation with the inspectorate and schools in Barking and Dagenham; this phase was funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, to the Trustees of which—and especially Mr David Sainsbury for his personal encouragement—the Institute is much indebted. The commentary below outlines the background to these educational reforms, explains what has been done so far, and sets out for discussion some proposed next steps.

This study investigated job satisfaction and qualification as a determinant of teachers’ job mobility in primary schools in Oyo State. The study employed the descriptive research design of the survey type. The population consisted of all teachers from the public primary schools in the state. The sample for this study was 300 teachers which were selected from 20 public primary schools using multi-stage sampling procedure. The first stage involved the use of simple random sampling technique to select 10 Local Government Areas from the thirty- three Local Government Areas of the State. The second stage involved the selection of 20 public primary schools using purposive random sampling technique. Also, 15 teachers were selected from each of the public primary schools using simple random sampling technique at the third stage to make the total of 300 teachers as a sample for the study. A self-structured questionnaire tagged Teachers’ Questionnaire on Job Mobility, Satisfaction and Qualification (TQJMSQ) was used to elicit relevant data for the study. The face and content validity of the instrument was ensured. A reliability co-efficient of 0.69 was obtained for TQJMSQ using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Research questions were answered using simple percentage, mean score and standard deviation while the hypothesis was analysed using t-test, ANOVA and Scheffe posthoc test at 0.05 level of significant. The study shows that job satisfaction and teachers’ qualifications determines job mobility in primary schools in Oyo State. The researchers recommended that government and other school owners should encourage teachers on the job by giving them necessary remuneration and teachers should be encouraged to update themselves to acquire higher qualifications so that they can be fixed to relevant position. KEYWORDS: Job Satisfaction, Qualification, determinant, teachers, job mobility, primary schools.

The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to increase teacher knowledge about the Application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Based Ethnomatic Tabut and  develop students' mathematical literacy in Elementary Schools. Through this activity it is expected to improve the skills of teachers in designing and evaluating meaningful and fun mathematics learning. The method used in this Community Service Activity is training. The instruments used in this PPM activity were observation sheets, interview sheets, and training modules. This activity data analysis is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is that training activities for the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education Model Based on Ark Ethnomatics have been carried out which can develop students' Mathematical Literacy Ability. Through this activity the community service team donated 5 units of miniature ark and training modules to partner schools.

This study aims to describe ethnomatematics of buying and selling transactions conducted by traders in the traditional market of Kaimana district. It is descriptive researches method with a qualitative approach that emphasizes process analysis. The research subject was one person. The research instrument was in the form of guidelines for observation, interviews, and field notes, which were used to find out how the subjects performed mental calculations. The techniques of analysis data are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there ethnomatematics activity are show by counting activities in buying and selling transactions. For example, calculate the amount of goods purchased by the buyer, determine the amount of change from the buyer, and calculate the profit of the selling price of each item purchased
