The change in the national education curriculum from the Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan to Kurikulum 2013 has brought changes to the assessment system. MTsN 1 Bukittinggi is one of the schools that applies Kurikulum 2013. The application of Kurikulum 2013 to this school also has an impact on changes in the assessment system. Changes to the grading system need to be supported by applications to facilitate processing of scores. At present, MTsN 1 Bukittinggi still uses a Spread Sheet-based score processing application. The applications used so far have been unable to meet the demands of the assessment system. With this Spread Sheet-based application, scores processing feels more complicated and still has the risk of input error. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a web-based scores application that is designed in accordance with the needs of the school. The purpose of this project is to develop a web-based scores processing application that can simplify the process of scores input, scores processing and study report printing. This application development uses the PHP programming language (PHP Hypertext Processor) with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as a Database Management System (DBMS). The system design method used is by Context Diagram, Flow Map, and Use Case Diagram. The results of the research is a web-based scores processing application that has been tested on several Internet browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The application runs well and can meet the needs of the school. Keywords: Score Processing Application, web, Spread Sheet, Madrasah Tsanawiyah

The purpose of this research is to design a database system that is implemented in a web-based academic management that can be used to support the information system and academic management at Muhammadiyah 4 High School Bandung. The proposed Method in system design includes 2 parts, such as system analysis and product design. Analytical methods include literature studies, interviews, and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the database design method used are three stages database design according to Connoly and Begg. The results achieved are web based academic and database management system at Muhammadiyah High School 4 Bandung. The conclusion obtained from this research is the system is able to provide information needs, faster, accurate, prevent duplication problem of data , to support decision making, to improve effective communication between the user, and to get the information easier.

Web-based courses have shown to be successful in providing quality distance education. However, due to a national education policy, pure online courses are not permitted in Taiwan. In addition, there exists a lack of appropriate design and delivery of blended learning courses. In this study, the authors conducted a quasi-experiment to examine the effects in applying blended learning (BL) with web-enabled self-regulated learning (SRL) to enhance students’ skills of deploying database management system (DBMS). Four class sections with a total of 172 second-year students were taken as four distinct groups. The results showed that students in the SRL and BL groups with 5 online classes had the highest grades for using DBMS among the four groups. Students who received the treatments of web-enabled SRL also outperformed a control group that did not have the benefit of instruction in SRL. The implications of this study are also discussed. One example of the growing information technology today is mobile learning, mobile learning which refers to mobile technology as a learning medium. Mobile learning is learning that is unique for each student to access learning materials anywhere, anytime. Mobile learning is suitable as a model of learning for the students to make it easier to get an understanding of a given subject, such as math is pretty complicated and always using formulas. The design method that I use is the case study method, namely, learning, searching and collecting data related to the study. While the development of engineering design software application programs that will be used by the author is the method of Rapid Application Development (RAD), which consists of 4 stages: Requirements Planning Phase, User Design Phase, Construction Phase and Phase Cotuver.

This research aimed at designing and improving the web-based integrated peer and self- assessment. WesPASS (web-based peer-assessment system), developed in this research, allows students to assess their own or their peers’ performance and project assignments and to report about the result of these assessments so that they correct their assignments. This study employed design-based research. The participants included 102 fourth grade primary school students and their 4 teachers from 2 state and 2 private primary schools in Ankara, Kecioren (Turkey) who employed the system and were engaged in a questionnaire survey to assess its quality. The findings were analyzed through quantitative data analysis. The findings revealed that the system can be used by elementary school students for peer and self-assessment system. The participants stated that WesPASS is simple and user-friendly, and it accelerates the assessment process by employing information technology and allows to share opinions

The lecture support system in Higher Education has information about student identity in each system, such as profile photos, names, NIM (Student Registration Number) and according to system requirements. An assessment on the public viewboard is an Online Assessment System aimed at improving services at Raharja University. However, in the multiplication flow system still has 3 disadvantages, namely, students do not yet have the facility to see the allocation value between friends in one class in one course to be able to improve the results of lecture grades with classmates and also between classes. In class design Popular writers also do five methods, namely the method of analysis, method of literature review, observation method, design method, and then implemented. With the existence of this study, there are 3 Benefits, namely, students can see the value determined by classmates, can improve the value, and lecturers can ensure the value given must be recognized by students.

CSIEC (Computer Simulation in Educational Communication), is not only an intelligent web-based human-computer dialogue system with natural language for English instruction, but also a learning assessment system for learners and teachers. Its multiple functions—including grammar-based gap filling exercises, scenario show, free chatting and chatting on a given topic—can satisfy the various requirements for students with different backgrounds and learning abilities. After a brief explanation of the conception of our dialogue system, as well as a survey of related works, we will illustrate the system structure, and describe its pedagogical functions with the underlying AI techniques in detail such as NLP and rule-based reasoning. We will summarize the free Internet usage within a six month period and its integration into English classes in universities and middle schools. The evaluation findings about the class integration show that the chatting function has been improved and frequently utilized by the users, and the application of the CSIEC system on English instruction can motivate the learners to practice English and enhance their learning process. Finally, we will conclude with potential improvements.
