The purpose of this research is to design a database system that is implemented in a web-based academic management that can be used to support the information system and academic management at Muhammadiyah 4 High School Bandung. The proposed Method in system design includes 2 parts, such as system analysis and product design. Analytical methods include literature studies, interviews, and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the database design method used are three stages database design according to Connoly and Begg. The results achieved are web based academic and database management system at Muhammadiyah High School 4 Bandung. The conclusion obtained from this research is the system is able to provide information needs, faster, accurate, prevent duplication problem of data , to support decision making, to improve effective communication between the user, and to get the information easier.

The research objective is to develop Web-based and WAP-based communiaction media applications to facilitate communication between the Board of Election Supervisors of Republic of Indonesia (Bawaslu RI) with all stakeholders associated with the public election. The research method used are analysis and design Methods. Analysis includes system analysis, identification of information needs, and the analysis of existing websites. The results of this analysis are used to design the applications of the proposed system of communication media. The design is implemented for database design and structured web-based and WAP-based applications. This research obtains Web-based and WAP-based communiaction media applications that facilitate communication about everything related to the public election.

Padang Karunia Group received a lot of inputs from its employees for improvement collected manually by an administrator. The more input from employees, the more difficult to be collected manually. Therefore Padang Karunia Group took the initiative to create an intranet application to save the inputs in a database. Based on this problem, a research is done to develop database applications in the form of dashboard to collect criticisms and suggestions of employees over the web. This application is expected to assist and facilitate the management of the company, especially in the gathering criticism and suggestions from employees who are then evaluated for company improvement. We uses the database design method based on database application lifecycle, including requirements collection and analysis, conceptual database design, logical database design, DBMS selection, physical database design, and implementation. The results achieved are a database design anda web-based dashboard application that collects criticisms and suggestions. The advantage of using this application is that the company can easily accept criticism and suggestions from employees, simplify storage and data management criticism and suggestions, create reports, and reduce the cost of data collection and the process that was previously done manually. Through the database created, the data management of criticisms and suggestions of employees can be done better.

A web-based questionnaire-survey was administered primarily to determine what information is useful to managers in Fraser Health, of British Columbia to support decision-making for workplace health and safety. The results indicated that managers prefer electronic quarterly reports, with targets, goals, and historical trends rated as “very important.” Over 85.7% “agree” that if information was readily available in the “most beneficial” format, they would be able to improve workplace health. Recommendations include that managers be presented with clear and concise workplace health reports that facilitate analysis for decision-making.

The change in the national education curriculum from the Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan to Kurikulum 2013 has brought changes to the assessment system. MTsN 1 Bukittinggi is one of the schools that applies Kurikulum 2013. The application of Kurikulum 2013 to this school also has an impact on changes in the assessment system. Changes to the grading system need to be supported by applications to facilitate processing of scores. At present, MTsN 1 Bukittinggi still uses a Spread Sheet-based score processing application. The applications used so far have been unable to meet the demands of the assessment system. With this Spread Sheet-based application, scores processing feels more complicated and still has the risk of input error. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a web-based scores application that is designed in accordance with the needs of the school. The purpose of this project is to develop a web-based scores processing application that can simplify the process of scores input, scores processing and study report printing. This application development uses the PHP programming language (PHP Hypertext Processor) with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as a Database Management System (DBMS). The system design method used is by Context Diagram, Flow Map, and Use Case Diagram. The results of the research is a web-based scores processing application that has been tested on several Internet browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems that may occur in the cake stores, especially theselling system used in the store, identify information needs and designing suitable sales information systems for the store. The methodology used in this research are analysis and design methods. Analysis methods that used in this research are study literature, observation, survey of the old system, analysis of survey needs, identification of information needs and interview. While the design method that used in this research is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). The results achieved is sales information system for cake store in the form ofapplication design to replace the manual system. Conclusion, a computerized sales information system can improve existing sales procedures and solve the problems that may occur in the old system.

In monitoring the environmental quality, besides it needs the data analysis also requires the presentation of accurate data so as to display an useful information. If the data is not immediately available it is feared worsening quality changes that will lead to difficulties in recovery. Self-monitoring analysis results database design for wastewater treatment instalation in manufacturing industry packaging cans aims to create a new procedure in terms of the storage and management to create a new procedure in termsof the storage and management of data replaces the old method is still conventional. Database design also features graphic user interface (GUI) as a medium for user interaction with the database software. Database database software is designed with the Logical database design method in which the process of making a model of the information used in the company based on the model-specific data, but does not depend on the Database Management System (DBMS). DBMS is a software that allows users to define, create, maintain, and control access to the database. Results to be achieved with the existence of this database is that users can easily perform datastorage, update the data, speed up retrieval of earlier data, and assist to present a report. Given this self-monitoring analysis results database, the data can be stored properly and safely on the database to be managed in the future as well as complementary data sources in reporting self-monitoring of wastewater treatment.keywords : self monitoring, database,DMBS, data update, and wastewater treatment plant

An office stationery inventory system that is accurate and up to date is needed by the company. In the process of stationery inventory of the Tirta Kerta Raharja District Office in Tangerang Regency, which is done at this time is still manual so it is less effective, because the warehouse sub-section utilizes office stationery inventory documents in the form of submission forms and inputs office stationery inventory data manually so that the monitoring process is difficult and vulnerable to loss or damage to documents. Therefore, it is necessary to design a computerized web-based office stationery inventory information system in order to facilitate its users. With the computerized web- based office stationery inventory system can facilitate the warehouse subsection in inputting data so that inventory monitoring is carried out regularly to make it more accurate and optimal. Data collection methods are done by observation, interviews, and literature studies from various studies, while the system analysis method is done using the PIECES method and the design method uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) and PHP programming language and MysQL as a database. This is the rationale for how researchers analyze the existing office stationery inventory system at the Tirta Kerta Raharja Public Corporation in the District of Tangeran so that it can facilitate the performance to be more effective, efficient and accurate.

ABSTRACT PT. Sintech Berkah Abadi is one of the providers of software solutions in the global market, providing business-based and high-tech solutions for customers throughout Indonesia. At present in terms of archiving data that is accessed is still using a manual system and not yet computerized, the process of searching for archives is quite time consuming and making reports still uses Microsoft Excel. This study aims to design a web-based archival classification information system to make it easier to manage file management properly. In this study using data collection methods namely observation, interviews and literature study. In the system analysis method used is the SWOT analysis, the design method used is Extreme Programming (XP). The results of the system design by using a web-based system can facilitate users in inputting data, storing data, searching for data, and making more accurate archive reports, so that archiving can run effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design e-commerce at. DAF to help the sales process is then expected to improve service. The methodology used is the method of analysis, where the review is held directly to the field, observing and analyzing the data obtained, and using the design method, which includes design of business models, screen designs and database design. Results to be achieved is the application of e-commerce web-based, whereby the system can enable customers to obtain the desired information is complete, make transactions easier and faster. Conclusions obtained are PT DAF can take advantage of e-commerce to support their business today and an appropriate business model is the highest-quality models.
