This study aims to describe the repetition and its effects in "Maulid Simtud Durar" by Habib Ali bin Muhammad Husein Al-Habsyi. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Qualitative research is one of the research procedures that analyzes descriptive data in the form of observed speech or writing. Descriptive method is aimed at describing and analyzing data about repetition language style in the maulid simtud durar. Repetition is a form of repetition, both in terms of sounds, syllables, or sentence parts that are considered important to put pressure in accordance with the expected context. This research confirms the existence of rhetorical language in the form of repetition contained and scattered in the maulid simtud durar to convey meaning and abstract thought then conveyed concretely through reps to give greater influence and effect in the hearts and minds of readers. The results of this study found six types of repetition, each of which was Tikrar Lafdzi (epanalepsis), Tikrar Taukidi (Epizueksis), Tajanus Sawti (Asonance), Mawjah Basitah (Simploke), Jinas Tam (Paranomasia), and Jinas Ghairu Tam. This research explains the ability of repetitive language styles in the maulid simtud durar to describe abstract meaning and thought, especially the emphasis on magical things and something amazing, whic the meaning is transformed into a repetition, because something that is visible and concrete can strengthen meaning and can have an effect that bigger in heart and mind.

This research is intended to 1) describe the types of linguistic aspects by way of debate. 2) describing the analysis of linguistic aspects in the free learning debate. The main discussion of this study is qualitative research based on descriptive data that contains the results of orthographic debate transcription. The data source of this research is from MPBI UMS students. The results of this study (1) the types of linguistic aspects of the way in the debate are the use of language styles, language variations, diction, complex sentences, and conjunctions. (2) based on the analysis results students understand the linguistic aspects so that in the independent debate students learn to use several linguistic aspects but there are linguistic aspects that are used that are not appropriate or inappropriate. The conclusions from this study present several aspects of language by means of student debates, the language aspects that must be considered are: the use of language styles, language variations, diction, complex sentences, and conjunctions. The style of language used by students in the debate is reiteration and hyperbole language style. The variations in language used are various journalistic types, business language categories, casual language variations, various familiar languages. Dictations used are popular words, absorption words, foreign words and common words. The complex sentences used are paratactic and hypotactic complexes. The conjunctions used are coordinative conjunctions, and subordinative conjunctions

This study aims to gain an understanding of the comparison of language styles in a collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmaya and a collection of Nafaskarya Fatimah Musawa poems. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in research using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study show that there are comparisons of comparative language styles and opposing language styles. Comparative language style in the collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmala amounts to 18 data and the language style of contention is 5 data, based on the language style that dominates the collection of Phrase Poems at the End of Season. Whereas the collection of Nafas poems by Fatimah Musawa, namely: Language style comparisons totaling 9 data. While the language style of contention is 11 data. Conclusions, a collection of End-of-Season Phrases by Adiska Nirmaya is more dominant in the style of comparison and the collection of Nafas poems by Fatima Musawa has a dominant style of language in opposition. This paper discusses about the language style of advertising on Japanese website travel agents in Bali such as 1) www.charterbali.com 2) www.bali-guide.jp 3) www.balinavi.jp 4) www.oji-baliclub. com 5) www.bali-chili.com 6) www.dakadibali.com. The purpose of this study is to determine what kinds of language style are used in these advertisements. This research make use of Gorys Keraf’s theory on language style. The data in this study were obtained from six Japanese-language travel agents in Bali. The research method in this paper is a qualitative descriptive method.               The language styles studied are those styles based on sentence structures. Based on sentence structures, eleven data have been found. They are five climax language styles, one anticlimax style, one data is antithesis language style, one data is parallelism language style, and two data are those typical of repetition language styles. The language styles found on the website are aim to convince Japanese tourists about the products on the website by repeating parts of words that are considered important, displaying important information at the beginning or the end of website.

This research is aimed to find the language style used to represent how the figure of parking attendants in the Petition of “Malang Darurat Parkir” and show why those language styles are used by the writer of petition. Petition “Malang Darurat Parkir” is available in petisionline.net and becomes top three petitions on that webpage. This research is qualitative research by using model of critical discourse analysis by Van Dijk (2008) that has three aspects: text analysis, social cognition, and social context. The results reveal that the types of language style based on theory of Keraf (2006) used are diction, sentence structure, and direct and indirect meaning and all of those dominated by bad representation or negative connotation called marginalization. This language style used because Helmy can be inferred if he lives or ever stayed in Malang city and the confition of social or people around him also use that kind of words or connotation.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan gaya bahasa yang digunakan untuk merepresentasikan bagaimana tukang parkir dalam petisi “Malang Darurat Parkir” dan menunjukkan mengapa gaya bahasa tersebut digunakan oleh penulis petisi. Petisi “Malang Darurat Parkir” tersedia di laman petisionline.net dan masuk dalam deretan tiga teratas di laman tersebut. Penilitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan model analisis wacana kritis oleh Van Dijk (2008) yang memiliki tiga aspek yaitu analisa teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tipe gaya bahasa berdasarkan teori Keraf (2006) yang digunakan adalah diksi, struktur kalimat, dan langsung tidaknya makna dan didominasi dengan representasi buruk atau konotasi negatif, yang disebut juga marginalisasi. Gaya bahasa tersebut digunakan karena dapat diduga Helmy tinggal atau pernah tinggal di Malang, dan kondisi sosial atau orang-orang disekitarnya juga menggunakan jenis kata atau konotasi tersebut.

Literature is a branch of art. About society, literature is a mirror of life that can take advantage of the values that exist in society. This study aims to describe the Language Style in the Piano Novel in Agnes Jessica's Glass Box. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is carried out by not prioritizing numbers, but prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between the concepts being studied empirically in this novel, providing an understanding of course in analyzing literary works with the approach used is a pragmatic approach considering the implications of readers through their various competencies. By considering indicators of literary works and readers, the problems that can be solved through a pragmatic approach, including the various responses of certain communities to a literary work, either as an explicit or implicit reader, both in a synchronic and diachronic framework. The results showed that the language style in the novel Piano in the Glass Box by Agnes Jessica is very varied and creative. Agnes Jessicas' novel Piano in a Glass Box totals 377 pages. The total frequency of using Language Styles is 98 units. In this novel Piano di Kotak Kaca by Agnes Jessicain, there are four groups of language styles, namely comparative language styles, namely parable, metaphor, personification, and antithesis, contradictory language styles, namely hyperbole, litotes, irony, oxymoron, and zeugma.

This study discusses the comparison of language style in novel Atheist by Achdiat Karta Miharja and novel Telegram by Putu Wijaya. The aims of this study are (1) to describe the embodiment of language styles in novels Atheist and novels Telegram, and (2) to describe the comparison of language styles in novels Atheist and novels Telegram. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The approach used in this research is stylistic approach. Sources of data in this study is a text that contains the style of rhetorical language and figurative style of language. The results show that: (1) the style of language used in the novel Atheist is the style of language; Hyperbole, simile, metaphor, personification, antonomasia, and sarcasm. The style of language found in the novel Telegram namely; Hyperbole, simile, metaphor, personification, antonomasia, and metonimia. Based on the language style found, there are three types of word classes used as word choice in realizing the style of figurative language and style of rhetorical language, namely; Nouns, verbs, and adjectives. (2) The similarity between novels Atheist and novels Telegram is the similarity of hyperbola-style, personification, and antonomasia-forming structures. The difference between the novel Atheist and the novel Telegram lies in the metaphorical style marker which in the novel Atheist is a transitive verb, while in the novel Telegram is a concrete noun.

This research is motivated by the existence of several styles of comparative attitude contained in the novel by Okky Madasari. This research is focused on the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. The purpose of this study is to describe the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences and dialogues related to describing the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. The data source in this research is the novel by Okky Madasari. The results of this study indicate that the comparative language styles contained in the novel by Okky Madasari are, parable comparison language style, metaphor comparison language style, personification comparison language style, allagory comparison language style, and pleonasm comparison language style. The language style that is most often found is the comparative language style of parable types, and from the research results it is known that of the 10 types of language language there are only 5 types of comparative language styles found.

This research background of how the style of language in the lyrics of Mandar song because of today many of the Mandar song lovers who lack understanding of the meaning that is in the lyrics Mandar song. The purpose of this research was to describe the fact of lyrics and identify the style of language in the lyrics of the song Mandar. This research applied descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive research was a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written words about the nature of individuals, circumstances, symptoms of certain groups that can be observed. The study, which began in September 2015 to January 2016, was unbound by space. In this study, it was found that the most commonly used hyperbola, asonation, and repetition style. Concluding remarks of the study were 174 lyric styles consisting of 8 personatic language styles, 6 metaphorical language styles, 7 simile / comparison language styles, 10 depersonative language styles, hyperbolic language styles, 7 parallelism languages, 4 style alliteration, 109 asonance and 17 repetition language styles.

This research examined the types and frequency of language style used by Twitter users in Indonesia. People use language as a tool of communication to express their wants, messages, information and ideas to other people. Communication is also influenced by the style between the speaker and hearer. The data in this research were collected from Twitter users in Indonesia. This research was focused on the language style of Twitter users of the millennial generation from teenagers to pre-adults in Indonesia. A descriptive method was used. This research analyzed the statuses of the Twitter users to find the types of language style and the most frequency used styles. There were four language styles, namely formal, consultative, casual and intimate. The casual style was the mostly frequently used language style, which was used in roughly 70% of cases.
