Literature is a branch of art. About society, literature is a mirror of life that can take advantage of the values that exist in society. This study aims to describe the Language Style in the Piano Novel in Agnes Jessica's Glass Box. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is carried out by not prioritizing numbers, but prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between the concepts being studied empirically in this novel, providing an understanding of course in analyzing literary works with the approach used is a pragmatic approach considering the implications of readers through their various competencies. By considering indicators of literary works and readers, the problems that can be solved through a pragmatic approach, including the various responses of certain communities to a literary work, either as an explicit or implicit reader, both in a synchronic and diachronic framework. The results showed that the language style in the novel Piano in the Glass Box by Agnes Jessica is very varied and creative. Agnes Jessicas' novel Piano in a Glass Box totals 377 pages. The total frequency of using Language Styles is 98 units. In this novel Piano di Kotak Kaca by Agnes Jessicain, there are four groups of language styles, namely comparative language styles, namely parable, metaphor, personification, and antithesis, contradictory language styles, namely hyperbole, litotes, irony, oxymoron, and zeugma.

Abstrak:             Penulisan ini untuk mengetahui tokoh Aku yang mengalami luka karena dikhianati dan ditinggalkan oleh kekasihnya sehingga ia mengalami konflik batin.  Pembaca diberi gambaran untuk terus berjalan meskipun deretan ironi telah banyak melukai. Novel ini memiliki aspek-aspek yang sangat menarik untuk dikaji.  Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana aspek-aspek prikoanalisi (yang nyata, yang imajiner,  dan yang simbolik)dAalam Novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya Puthut EA . Berdasarkan rumusan masalah tersebut,  penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek psikoanilisis yang terdapat dalam Novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya EA.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif untuk menghasilkan data berupa berupa deskriptif.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data antara lain: metode dokumentasi,  metode telaah,  dan metode studi perpustakaan.  Sesuai terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan tekhnik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya Puthut EA mengandung aspek-aspek psikoanalisi.  Aspek-aspek psikoanalisis yang terdapat dalam novel ini dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: yang nyata(rasa kenyamanan pada tokoh Aku) yang imajiner (rasa kehilangan pada tokoh Aku),  yang simbolik (rasa keinginan pada tokoh Aku)Setiap karya sastra pada dasarnya mengandung aspek-aspek yang dapat memberikan manfaat sebagai pedoman bagi pembacanya sehingga hendaknya karya-karya sastra dapat diapresiasikan secara maksimal. Novel ini berisi pengalaman tokoh Aku beserta hikmah yang dapat dipetik dalam kehidupan. Abstrak:             The writing was to know the figure of I who was injured by being betrayed and abandoned by his lover so that he suffered an inner conflict.  Readers are given an overview to keep going though a row of irony has hurt a lot. The Novel has very interesting aspects to be studied.  The problem discussed in this study is how the Prikoanalyisi aspects (the real, the imaginary, and the symbolic) dAalam Novel Love never punctual the work of Puthut EA. Based on the problem, this research aims to describe the aspects of psychoanilisis in the Novel Love never-timely work of EA.  This type of research is qualitative research to produce a descriptive form of data.  Methods used in data collection include: Documentation methods, study methods, and library studies methods.  The appropriate collected will be analyzed with descriptive technology.  The results of this research are novel love never timely work by Puthut EA contains psychoanalyisi aspects.  The psychoanalytical aspects contained in the novel are divided into three, namely: the real (sense of comfort on the figure of me) the imaginary (the loss of my character), the symbolic (sense of desire on the figure of me) every literary work essentially Contains aspects that can provide benefits as a guideline for its readers so that the literary works can be maximally appreciated. This Novel contains the experience of the character I and the wisdom that can be learned in life.

Literary works in Indonesia, including novels, both in terms of ideas and content, are heavily influenced by works from abroad. This influence is caused by many things, for example Indonesian writers who idolize foreign writers, similarities in social situations and conditions, or even unplanned similarities because Indonesian writers unconsciously intensively read one of the works of foreign writers. This research attempts to compare the novel Ipung by Prie GS with the novel the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Comparisons are only limited to pouring out the ideas, genres, and motives contained in the two novels. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes a number of ideas, genres, and motives concerning the basic issues of creation, and the message can be expressed accuratel. Based on the research results, it was stated that the novel Sang Alkemis by Paulo Coelho influenced Prie GS novel Ipung, both in terms of ideas, genres, and motives.

This study was aimed to analyze the aspects of Romanticism manifested in the novel “The Revolt in Paradise” and behavior of character reflects Romanticism in “The Revolt in Paradise”. This study was based on the descriptive-qualitative research since the findings were going to be presented in a descriptive form. The data to be analyzed are gathered from two sources. The primary source is the novel itself; The Revolt in Paradise and the secondary sources includes many appropriate documents in the form of literary works, previous thesis, biography, theories and literary criticism, dictionaries and etc. Related to the instrument, the researcher employed herself as the human instrument. The data were analyzed through underlying and labeling. The result of the study found that there four aspects of Romanticism manifested in the novel; The Revolt in Paradise, they were: the love of nature, the memories of the past, the horror /gothic setting and the emotion; included; love, anger and hatred. This study also found that The Revolt in Paradise gave the vivid depiction of the Nationalism as the major behavior reflects Romanticism.

Artikel ini mendiskusikan kritik  sosial dalam novel “Anak-Anak Tukang” karya Baby Ahnan. Novel itu mengisahkan hiruk piruk kehidupan lingkungan sosial yang di dalamnya mengandung kritik sosial seperti soal pemerataan pembangunan pendidikan. Sementara pengertian kritik pada dasarnya merupakan wujud sambutan pembaca yang menghakimi serta menilai karya sastra guna memberi penilaian dan memberi keputusan baik dan buruk tidaknya suatu karya satra yang telah dibaca oleh kritikus. Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan fisik yang terjadi di daerah seperti Flores ternyata tidak menjamin terjadinya peningkatan kesejatraan masyarakat. Kemudian, pemanfaatan tenaga kerja lokal di sektor pembangunan menjadi tidak optimal karena pendidikan mereka rendah sebagai akibat pendidikan yang tidak merata.Katakunci: kritik, sosial, lingkungan, pendidikan Abstract:This article discusses social criticism in Baby Ahnan's novel “Anak-Anak Tukang”. The novel tells a story of the hustle and bustle of social life which contains social criticism, such as the issue of equality of education. Meanwhile, the definition of criticism is basically a form of response from readers who judge and judge literary works in order to give judgments and make decisions about whether or not a literary work has been read by critics. The method used was descriptive qualitative method and sociological literary approach. The results show that physical infrastructure development in areas such as Flores did not guarantee an improvement in the welfare of the community. Then, the utilization of local labor in the development sector is not optimal because their education is low as a result of unequal education.Keywords: criticism,  education, environmental, social

This research is motivated by the existence of several styles of comparative attitude contained in the novel by Okky Madasari. This research is focused on the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. The purpose of this study is to describe the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences and dialogues related to describing the comparative language style in the novel by Okky Madasari. The data source in this research is the novel by Okky Madasari. The results of this study indicate that the comparative language styles contained in the novel by Okky Madasari are, parable comparison language style, metaphor comparison language style, personification comparison language style, allagory comparison language style, and pleonasm comparison language style. The language style that is most often found is the comparative language style of parable types, and from the research results it is known that of the 10 types of language language there are only 5 types of comparative language styles found.

Abstract. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. It aims to obtain information on the relevant themes and types of literary works taught in school. Data seurcesof this research were primary and secondary data . Data collecting, the researcher used library technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using the heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods. The findings show that the relevant themes of German literary work that can be used in teaching are family, daily life, divinity, nature, and health by paying attention to the level of students' language skill. As for the types of German literary works based on the findings, the relevant types are Lyrics and Short Stories.

Abstrak: Karya sastra adalah sebuah ungkapan perasaan, ide, dan pemikiran dalam suatu gambaran konkret baik tertulis maupun tidak tertulis, salah satunya berupa sebuah lirik lagu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 album yaitu “My Way”, “Answer” dan “Negai E.P.” sebagai sumber data yang disinyalir sudah cukup mewakili karakteristik diksi dan gaya bahasa yang digunakan pada lirik lagu karya Touyama Mirei. Metode kualitatif deskriptif sebagai metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, pada album “Answer”, “My Way”, dan “Negai E.P” terdapat 16 macam gaya bahasa. Pada album “Answer” ditemukan 13 macam gaya bahasa, pada album “My Way” ditemukan 9 macam gaya bahasa, pada mini-album “Negai E.P” ditemukan 3 macam gaya bahasa. Gaya bahasa yang paling banyak ditemukan dalam 3 album tersebut adalah gaya bahasa Metafora dan Repetisi. Adapun diksi yang sering muncul dan digunakan bersifat denotatif. Simpulan yang dapat diambil adalah gaya bahasa berupa metafora dan repetisi,  dan penggunaan diksi bersifat denotatif atau bermakna sebenarnya merupakan ciri khas atau style dari penyanyi sekaligus pengarang lagu Touyama Mirei.Kata kunci: Stilistika, Lirik Lagu, Diksi, Gaya Bahasa, Makna Abstract: Literary work is an expression of feelings, ideas, and thoughts in a concrete picture both written and unwritten, one of which is a song lyrics. This research was conducted using 3 albums namely "My Way", "Answer" and "Negai E.P." as a source of data that was allegedly sufficient to represent the characteristics of diction and language style used in song lyrics by Touyama Mirei. Descriptive qualitative method as a research method in this study. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, it is concluded that 16 kinds of language styles can be found in the album "Answer", "My Way", and "Negai E.P". In the album "Answer" found 13 kinds of language styles, on the album "My Way" found 9 kinds of language styles, on the mini-album "Negai E.P" found 3 kinds of language styles. The style of language most commonly found in these 3 albums is the style of Metaphor and Repetition. The diction that often appears and is used is denotative. The conclusion that can be drawn is the style of language in the form of metaphors and repetitions and the use of diction which is denotative or meaningful is actually a characteristic or style of the singer and songwriter Touyama Mirei. This study was focused on determine the types of use slang language style. The types of slangs were analyzed from “Charlie’s Angels” movie. Theories used in this research were Sumarsono (2007) about the types of slang language style and Zhou & Fan (2013) about the functions of slang language. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method.This research is the kind of content analysis study based on the way to do qualitative research. The way to collects the data are; downloading movie, watching movie and downloading movie subtitle. The data were from a movie entitled “Charlie’s Angels” in the year of 2019 with action-comedy genre.After conducting the analysis, this study showed that there were four types of slang language style from six types of slang language. They were clipping, creative, uses the existing words and metaphor. Creative was found as the most dominant types of slang language style in the movie with 10 data (40%), metaphor with 7 data (28%), uses the existing words with 5 data (20%) and clipping with 3 data (12%). Finally, the reseacher hopes that this study will be useful for the future improvement of studying literature, especially about slang language style

Literary work is a personal reflection of the author. The purpose of this study is to describe Moral Values in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset Novel. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is done by not prioritizing numbers, but prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between concepts that are being studied in an implicit manner. Based on the results of overall data research Moral Value Analysis in My Perfect Sunset Novel by Kyria, there are 7 aspects, namely Patience, Tawakal, Worship, Help Help Work Hard, Self-Control, and Regret, as for the results of the above quotations namely: Patience is a virtue that adorns a believer, where the person is able to overcome various difficulties and remain in obedience to God even though the tribulation and trials are so terrible. The Moral Value of patience aspects in Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Tawakal is a full willingness of all that it receives, and henceforth it will always have hope for everything that it wants and aspires to. The Moral Value of the aspects of resignation in the My Perfect Sunset novel by Kyria there are 2 quotes, Worship is a case of tauqifiyah namely there is no form of worship that is prescribed except according to the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah, Worship in Islamic sharia is the final destination that is loved and blessed. The Moral Values of the Worship aspect of Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 2 quotes, Please Help fellow social beings, humans cannot live alone. As for the Moral Value aspect, please help with Kyria's My Perfect Sunset by 13 excerpts. Working hard will get what you want even if you do it hard. As for the Moral Value, the diligent aspect of working on Kyria's My Perfect Sunset novel contained 4 quotes, Self-Control makes one accustomed to enjoying the regularity of life, accustomed to being obedient, and feeling happy. The Moral Value aspects of being able to control themselves in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 5 quotes, Regret is a feeling that must be felt in life. Because with regret, someone will try to be better, and minimize mistakes in his life. The Moral Value aspects of regret in the novel My Perfect Sunset by Kyria there are 23 quotes.
