The objective of the research is to describe whether there is a difference of students' understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative learning model of TAI type and Problem Based Learning (PBL) and show the cause of the difference. This study included experimental research with randomized control group design pretest posttest design. The result of the research shows that (1) the understanding of students 'mathematical concepts with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the understanding of students' mathematics concept with PBL learning model; (2) the understanding of students 'mathematical concept with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the students' with conventional learning model, (3) understanding of student math concept with PBL learning model is significantly different with understanding of student math concept with conventional learning model. So that there is effect of cooperative learning model of TAI type and problem based learning (PBL) to the students' math concept.

This research is aimed to know the difference between physics learning result through numbered heads together type cooperative learning model helped by question card and physics learning result through direct instruction learning model at SMAN 7 Mataram on academic year of 2015/2016. This research was an experimental study with pretest posttest control group design. The population in this research was all the students of XI IPA SMAN 7 Mataram. Based on sampling process using cluster random sampling tehnique, XI IPA 7 was choosen as the experiment A class and XI IPA 6 was choosen as the experiment B class. The result of the test analized using t-test polled varians showed that tcount was 5,98 and ttable was 1,99 in the significant level of 5 % with the degree of freedom (df) of 61. Since tcount > ttable, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there were a difference between physics learning result through numbered heads together type cooperative learning model helped by question card and physics learning result through direct instruction learning model at SMAN 7 Mataram on academic year of 2015/2016

Learning model that can train students in developing their argumentative skills includes the Argumentation Based Learning (ABL) and Problem Based Learning (PBL). This study aimed to see the effectiveness of the ABL and PBL models in improving students' argumentation skills about the concept of salt hydrolysis. The study was conducted in the class XI MIA SMAN 1 Tebo Jambi with a sample consisting of two classes. Some 50 students were recruited purposively to be the participants of this study. Concurrent embedded mix method using two group pretest posttest control group design was used in this study. The results of independent t-test showed that ABL was more effective than PBL (t= 4.864; p-value=0.00 < 0.05) in improving the students' argumentation skills. This was supported by the N-gain test of ABL which was 0.82 and the N -Gain test of PBL was 0.68. The results of observations revealed that the ABL students had more intensive opportunities to debate their argumentation than those in the PBL class. This was believed as the major factor influencing the difference in the students’ argumentation skills.

The STAD cooperative learning model can support active, independent and responsible learning for students. The application of this model is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using Edmodo-assisted learning models. Edmodo was modified to become a teacher tool to expand learning at home. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design involving 39 students of class VIII MTs At-Taqwa Beru, Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the results of the study it was found that the Edmodo-assisted STAD type cooperative learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

This research describes the differences of student’s learning with the application of cooperative learning type make a match in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte at the X grade student’s of the Madrasah Aliya DDI Lonja. This research used quasi experimental with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted with two groups: XA as the experimental (n=21) XB as the control group (n=18). The data findings means score of experimental group (X1) is 70,5 with the standard deviation 9,6 and the control group (X2) is 62.0 with the standard deviation is 6. Based on the results, the researcher concludes cooperative learning type make a match has better than control class that used conventional learning model.

ABSTRACT [The Effectiveness of Using a Model Problem-based Learning (PBL) to the Results of Physics Learning on High School Students 9 Lubuklinggau]. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem-based learning model. The research method used experiments with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research is the students of class XI A and class XI B SMA N 9 Lubuklinggau City which amounted to 50 students. The  technique of collecting data in this research is a test. The test is in the form of pretest and finally test (posttest). The purpose of holding initial and final tests to determine the effectiveness of Physics learning with PBM model and conventional learning. The test instrument that was made before the test was tested was done by panelists test using Intracorelation class coefficient (ICC). Data analysis technique used in this research is t-test. The results showed that there are differences in student learning outcomes taught with Problem-Based Learning model (PBM) with students taught with conventional learning model. The difference can be seen in the result of t-test which yields t-count> t-table (3,98> 2.01). The effectiveness of using the PBM model in the experimental class is 13.5% better than in the control class. Keywords: Effectiveness; model; PBL; learning outcomes.

ABSTRAKSI: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar Fisika. Penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X MIPA SMAN (Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri) 1 Kubutambahan di Bali, Indonesia, yang terdiri dari empat kelas atau 130 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis kovarian dua jalur. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa diakibatkan oleh perbedaan model pembelajaran. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang menerima perlakuan model PBL (Problem Based Learning atau Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah). Perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa juga diakibatkan oleh perbedaan motivasi berprestasi. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang memiliki MBT (Motivasi Berprestasi Tinggi). Akhirnya, ada pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestrasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. KATA KUNCI: Model Pembelajaran; Prestasi Belajar; Motivasi; Matapelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACT: “Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model and Student Achievement Motivation in Gaining the Physics Learning Achievements”. The research describes the interactive influence between model of learning and achievement motivation toward Physics learning achievement. The research used a quasi experimental study with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were the students of Class X Mathematics and Sciences at the Public Senior High School 1 Kubutambahan in Bali, Indonesia, consisted of four classes or 130 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two-ways analysis of covariance. The results of this study reveal that the student achievement is due to the differences in learning models. Higher learning achievement was achieved by students who received treatment of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model. The differences in student achievement are due to also the differences in achievement motivation. Higher achievement of learning achieved by students who have high achievement motivation. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes achieved by students on the subjects of Basic Electrical and Electronics which is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set a school that is 75 This is presumably because they are learning is often used during the learning model is applied directly proven yet effective. The purpose of this research is to reveal how much influence the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to study the results of class X students on subjects TAV Basic Electricity and Electronics. This research is an experimental study with a draft Post-test only control group design. The sample were students of class X TAV at SMK 1 Padang Academic Year 2014 / 2015. Class experiment is treated using Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model and the control group is a class that uses the direct teaching model. The data is taken from the test results in the form of learning about the objective as many as 31 items. Data were analyzed manually to test for normality, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. The result of the calculation hypothesis at significance level α = 0.05 was found that t count> t table is 3.35> 1.670. The results of these tests give an interpretation that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this means that on average significantly experimental class learning outcomes greater than the average control class learning outcomes.  Key words :   Models of Learning, Jigsaw, Learning Direct, Post-test only control group design, Learning outcomes, Experimental, and Control.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa di Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan  oleh  beberapa  faktor,  diantaranya  adalah  rendahnya  kemampuan  pemahaman  konsep matematis dan didukung oleh rendahnya disposisi matematis siswa yaitu apresiasi terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share  (SSCS)  yang  menjadikan  siswa  mandiri,  aktif  dan  fokus  dalam  pembelajaran  matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model SSCS dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII C (eksperimen) dan VIII D (kontrol) semester 2 SMPN 2 Kota Serang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan skala disposisi matematis. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji perbedaan rata-rata. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Disposisi matematis yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS memiliki peningkatan yang lebih rendah atau sama dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran SSCS bisa diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis namun kurang efektif dalam peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa SMP. One of the efforts to improve the students' understanding of mathematical concepts and mathematical dispositions is by using Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model which makes students self-reliant, active and focused in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine the improvement of the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts and mathematical disposition of students by using SSCS model in mathematics learning. This research uses quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of this research are class VIII C (experiment) and VIII D (control) semester 2 SMPN 2 Serang City. The instrument used in this research is the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts and mathematical disposition scale. Data of this study were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, two-party test, and one-party test. The conclusion of this research is the ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students using SSCS learning model better than students using conventional learning model. While mathematical dispositions using SSCS learning models have a lower or equal increase with students using conventional learning models. ABSTRACTThis research aims to know the effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card toward student activity fourth grade student of Elementary School and to know the effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card to learning outcomes of Social Studies fourth grade student of Elementary School. This research is conducted in SDN Sidokare IV, Sidoarjo with research subject is fourth grade students in fourth A as control class and fourth B grade students as experiment class school year 2015/2016. The type of research is experiment research with form of research is pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was obtained as follows: students activity at experiment class is better than control class. This condition was shown with tarithmetic score (5,253) > ttable (1.994) with mean score in experiment class is 82,3200 higher than students social skills in control class 71,5600. So, there are effect of cooperative learning model of team game tournament with uno card to student activity. While for second hypothesis testing was showed that student learning outcomes in experiment class is higher than control class. This condition was shown with tarithmetic score (5.462) > ttable (1.994) with mean score in experiment class is 90,3400 higher than student learning outcomes in control class 62,9600. Jadi, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno terhadap aktivitas siswa. Sedangkan untuk pengujian hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (5.462) > ttabel (1.994) dengan nilai mean pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 90,3400 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol yaitu 62,9600. Jadi, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran team game tournament terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran team game tournament dengan media kartu uno, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, (2) pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan bakat numerik siswa terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, (3) perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, pada siswa yang memiliki bakat numerik tinggi, (4) perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation dengan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, pada siswa yang memiliki bakat numerik rendah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah two way pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IA SMAN 2 Semarapura tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 171 orang. Sampel 76 orang siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan uji kesetaraan kelas. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa keterampilan berpikir kritis dan bakat numerik siswa yang dikumpulkan dengan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan bakat numerik. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe untuk menguji komparasi pasangan nilai rata-rata tiap kelompok perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berpikir kritis kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation dan model pembelajaran langsung (Fh=14,153;pF’(0,05)=4,41).Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Group Investigation, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Bakat Numerik. This research aimed to analyze (1) the difference of critical thinking ability among the students who joined Group Investigation cooperative learning model with the students who take the direct learning model, (2) interaction effect between learning model and students’ numerical talent towards students’ critical thinking ability, (3) the difference of critical thinking ability among the students who joined Group Investigation cooperative learning model with the students who take the direct learning model, on high numerical talent students, (4) the difference of critical thinking ability among the students who joined Group Investigation cooperative learning model with the students who take the direct learning model, on low numerical talent students. The research type was a quasi experimental research with two ways pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research population was grade XI A1 students of SMAN 2 Semarapura Academic Year 2013/2014, with the amount 171 students. The sample was 76 students chosen by simple random sampling technique and class equality test. The data research was critical thinking ability and students’ numerical talent collected by critical thinking ability test and numerical talent. The hypothesis testing used ANOVA two paths followed by Scheffe test to test the comparative value pairs on average each treatment group. The research result showed (1) there was a significant difference between critical thinking ability of the students using Group Investigation cooperative learning model and direct learning model (Fh=14,153;p˂0,05). The students learnt using Group Investigation cooperative learning model showed better critical thinking ability and numerical talent. (2) There was an interaction effect between learning model and numerical talent towards critical thinking ability (Fh=4,502;p˂0,05). (3) There was a significant difference between critical thinking ability students’ levels that using Group Investigation cooperative learning model and direct learning model on high numerical talent students (Fh=16,68˃F’(0,05)=4,41). (4) There was a significant difference between critical thinking ability of the students using Group Investigation cooperative learning model and direct learning model for low numerical talent students (Fh=1,29˃F’(0,05)=4,41). keyword : Group Investigation Cooperative Learning Model, Critical Thinking Ability, Numerical Talent.
