The development of science and technology and the factors of the ASEAN economic community (MEA) which are supported by increasing industry 4.0, the government gives important responsibilities for universities to be able to produce human resources that can compete in that era. This affects universities to continue to improve in terms of the quality of learning, service quality, to provide satisfaction to students which has an influence on the productivity of higher education. In this regard, research was conducted on 120 samples of student respondents (active students, and alumni) who were used to provide information by distributing questionnaires processed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of the analysis and discussion it can be concluded that service quality has a positive effect on student satisfaction and positively influences the productivity of higher education.

Past studies in various areas indicated that customer loyalty is very critical. For technical universities, student loyalty is crucial in this intense competitiveness market. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the causal relationship of service quality, corporate image and student’s satisfaction towards student loyalty. Scope of this research is technical universities in Malaysia. This research involved quantitative approach whereby survey questionnaires were used as instrument for data collection. 398 of returned questionnaires has been analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS)-Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). All exogenous constructs empirically found to have causal relationships with student loyalty. This study proved that student loyalty is influenced by service quality, corporate image of universities and student satisfaction.

The purpose of this paper is to study the effects of service quality, organization culture and reputation on student satisfaction. This study uses 397 data collected from undergraduate students of Andalas University. The data is analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0, because of its ability to evaluate the measurement as well as the structural model. The results of this study show that service quality, organization culture and reputation significantly affect the student satisfaction. It is also found that service quality has the highest effect on student satisfaction, which means that increasing Andalas University service quality would significantly improve the satisfaction of its students. The results of this study also show that the organization culture nor reputation do not have moderating effect on the relationship between service quality and student satisfaction. This finding implies that organization culture nor reputation would not strengthen nor weaken the relationship between service quality and student satisfaction. Research highlights the influence of service quality, institutional reputation, student satisfaction in building student loyalty. Quantitative approach was used with a survey method. The research respondents were 185 students from PGRI University Palembang. Analysis techniques using variance-based structural equation models (SEM) SmartPLS. The results of the study shows that service quality has a significant effect on reputation and student satisfaction, but service quality and student satisfaction have no significant effect on student loyalty. On the contrary, the reputation of an institution has a very significant direct effect on loyalty. Student service quality has a significant indirect effect on student loyalty through the reputation of the institution, this implies that the reputation of the institution carries a relative influence relationship between service quality on student loyalty. These findings can help higher education institutions to make better strategic plans to increase student loyalty.

The competition among higher education institutions to attract and retain prospective students is constantly getting fiercer. Therefore, it is important to investigate the factors that affect student satisfaction, student loyalty, and perceived image of a university. This study aims to identify and compare the influence of social environment and teaching excellence provided to students on institutions' university image, student satisfaction, and student loyalty. The data were collected from 829 undergraduate students who were studying at 15 universities, five public and ten private, in Istanbul. The data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling. The hypotheses were tested by using path analysis in AMOS and Independent Sample t-Test in SPSS. The results provide evidence that both social environment and teaching excellence have a direct significant influence on the image of a university and student satisfaction, together with an indirect influence on student loyalty through university image and student satisfaction. Some suggestions for higher education institutions are made based on the differences between coefficients among variables.

Our aim in this study was to propose an integrated model to examine the structural relationships among a higher education institution’s service quality, student satisfaction, institutional image, and behavioral intention at a private university located in South Korea. We conducted a survey of students majoring in business to analyze these relationships. Structural equation modeling showed that students were satisfied with various aspects (tangibles, reliabilities, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance) of service quality. Also, service quality directly affected both student satisfaction and perceived institutional image. In addition, the results indicated that students’ perceived institutional image and satisfaction directly influenced behavioral intention. Although perceived service quality was not a significant construct to predict behavioral intention of students, our results showed a mediating effect of perceived institutional image and student satisfaction on the relationship between service quality and behavioral intention.
