The article briefly examines the system of professional selection and substantiates the stages of the research carried out by the author in accordance with the order of the management of one of the security firms, which provides physical protection of sensitive facilities. An expert-stating method of constructing a psychogram is described. It provides for: expert assessment of personnel to determine successful and unsuccessful employees; selection of methods and techniques of psychodiagnostics and testing of successful and unsuccessful employees; identification of statistically significant differences in test results between successful and unsuccessful employees and determination of professionally important qualities. Difficulties and limitations in the implementation of these research procedures are analyzed in detail. As a result of the study, a psychological portrait of a successful security guard is presented, carrying out physical protection of sensitive objects. This portrait includes a general description of the factors of success, as well as a description of specific professionally important qualities.

Emergency Reporting Application is an android-based application that serves to help the community in reporting the emergency condition. This application allows users to choose and contact the emergency services office, without the need to notice their position and phone number. Selection of emergency services office is also automatically selected by the system by taking into account the distance between the complainant and the emergency services office. The selected emergency services office is the nearest emergency service office from the complainant so that the delay in coming assistance can be minimized. Therefore, this proposed application requires a GPS feature to recording, reporting and SMS positioning for message delivery of reports. The distance between the position of the complainant and the position of the emergency service office, in the form of latitude and longitude data, is requested using the Haversine formula taking into account the degree of curvature of the earth. Emergency service offices include police and hospital offices spread over 25 different districts. Furthermore, the reporter's position calculation results were compared with all selected emergency service offices and obtained 1 nearest emergency service office. Calculating the accuracy and delay value of the system will do system testing. Accuracy test results using the method of 100% Haversine and the average delay of the system is 4.5 seconds.

Introduction : the problems of sports selection and selection of prospective children in martial arts schools are quite relevant in the sports practice. It was revealed the use of various selection techniques in the practice of martial arts. There is no unified methodological system for selection in martial arts schools. The purpose of the study : to determine the dependence of the dynamics of sports results of elite athletes on the procedure of sports selection (for example, the Greco-Roman wrestling). Material and methods : elite Greco-Roman wrestlers (n = 114) took part in the research. Age of athletes: 25-45 years. Qualification: International masters of sport (n = 8), masters of sport (n = 49), candidates in masters of sport (n = 57). Athletes filled out a diagnostic card with data on the procedure of sports selection. It was indicated the dynamics of competitive results during the sports career. Indicators of performance and stability of athletes were calculated applying the mathematical statistics methods ( ). The reliability of the results was determined by Student's t-test. Results : Data analysis showed that a significant part of athletes did not pass the selection procedure (n = 23). Many athletes passed only a partial selection procedure (n = 39). Some athletes did not pass the selection procedure. These athletes are not inferior in terms of stability to athletes who passed the selection at the 1st and 2nd levels of competitive results. In subsequent competitions, these athletes demonstrated the reliable (P <0.05) decrease in indicators of stability in comparison with other athletes. It was revealed a significant (P <0.05) advantage in indicators of stability among athletes who passed a partial selection procedure at the 4th level of competitive results. Conclusions : It was found the dependence of stability indicators at high levels of competitive results on the selection procedure of athletes. The athletes who passed the selection procedure demonstrate higher stability at high levels of competitive results. It was revealed a formal attitude to the selection procedure in some coaches and specialists. The trainers do not pay due attention to the indicators of maintaining body balance and coordination abilities during the selection of candidates. It has been revealed that the motor tests applied in the selection procedure do not allow an objective assessment of the potential of athletes' competitive achievements.

Cube chili has potential to be commercialized.   However, packaging of the product has not yet been prepared well for commercialized purpose. Therefore, it’s necessary to do a research about product packaging.  This research aims to obtain the best secondary packaging for cube chili, determine the level of consumer preference towards the packaging and get the information about the added value of packaged cube chilli. Selection of the best secondary packaging for cube chili according assessment from 5 experts with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, distributing hedonic test questionnaires to 25 customers for the selection of the preferred packaging, analyzed with Kruskal Wallis method and determination of the added value packaging with Hayami method. Secondary packagings that have been used are  plastic box polistirene (PS) with thickness of 0.167 mm, folding box carton (FC) with thickness of 0.5 mm and  plastic box polistirene (PS) with thickness of 1 mm. Result of this research  showed that the best secondary packaging  according to expert assessment is PS box 1 mm (0,468).  The packaging of cube chili that most preferred by consumers is FC-box 0.5 mm (4,44). The highest added value is owned by the cube chili that packed with PS boxes 0.167 mm (51.89%)

Personnel selection for an organization is an extremely important process. Modern organizations strive to improve the process of recruitment and selection of personnel as much as possible, in order to provide the organization with quality personnel and thus long-term competitiveness. In addition, the evaluation criteria on which the recruitment and selection process is based is also important, as it has a large impact on the final selection of candidates. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to propose the application of multi-criteria decision-making methods for the process of determining the weighting coefficients of evaluation criteria. Accordingly, the SWARA (Step-Wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis) method for determining weights was applied in the paper. The SWARA method proved to be extremely reliable when it comes to defining the weights of evaluation criteria, primarily due to its simplicity and the fact that respondents and domain experts could easily express their views on the issue.

Abstract Recently, there is an increasing need for accurate and rapid thermal measurement of soils. Within a variety of available methods a needle probe test is most widely used. The needle probe method was standardized for the measurement of thermal conductivity of soils and soft rocks. In the paper, two different interpretation methods of the needle probe test were used for determination of thermal conductivity of selected soils. The first method (ASTM D5334-05 Standard approach) takes into account only the data which are recorded during heating while the second approach is based on fitting the known analytical solution to the data obtained within both heating and cooling phases. The soil samples used were classified as clayey ones. Laboratory tests were performed using the KD2Pro thermal conductivity meter (Decagon Devices) with a TR-1 sensor. The main goal of the paper is to show that the selection of interpretation method is very important and may lead to significant differences in resulting thermal conductivities.

Abstract The paper concerns laboratory methods for determination of soil stiffness. Major criterion for selection of analysed equipment is range of strain in which stiffness can be reliably determined. Substantially, various configurations of triaxial apparatus are referred to i.e. with standard cell and with the modified one. Additional system for internal measurement of strain is described and rational (based on test results) for use of it is presented. As to shear wave velocity measurement as a mean to obtain initial stiffness, requirements for proper measurement and interpretation was given. Finally, an approach to determine Poisson’s ratio on the basis of combined results of cyclic triaxial and resonant column tests was presented.

Candidate selection has a direct impact on the quality of a company's human resources department, so it's an essential activity for public and private companies alike. Various ways have been created to assist and make it easier for organizations to select the best candidate, specifically the right people to do specific roles. As a result, the purpose of this study is to propose the use of multi-criteria decision-making techniques in personnel selection. Therefore, for the determination of the weights of the criteria will be employed the SWARA method, whereas, for the ranking of the alternatives, i.e. selection of the best candidate, a CoCoSo method will be applied.

In the UAV parachute recovery process, the UAV and the parachute have always been in the state of dynamic balance, so it is difficult to deal with the constraint between them. In order to solve this problem, the UAV parachute recovery system was divided into three parts:the parachute, riser and UAV. The extension length of riser was obtained by the velocity relationships of the riser connection points. The riser tension was obtained by the product of the elastic coefficient and the extension length of the riser. And it was applied to the parachute and UAV systems respectively. Finally, based on the Newton-Euler equation, the 12-DOF model of UAV parachute recovery system was established, in which the unsteady aerodynamic model of the UAV from the forward flight to the steady descents was established based on the ONERA equation. The simulation and test results shows:the 12-DOF model is consistent with the results of the experimental data, which verifies the accuracy of the 12-DOF model. The 12-DOF model is more accurate than the past 6-DOF model. This model established in this paper can provide reference for the selection of parachute in the UAV parachute recovery system and the determination of the landing point of the UAV.
