AbstractA thermodynamic approach for the complex chemical equilibria investigation of two-phase systems containing hydroxy aluminium sulfate (HAS) minerals in soils has been developed. This approach utilizes thermodynamic relationships combined with original mass balance constraints, where the HAS mineral phases are explicitly expressed. The factors influencing the distribution and concentrations of various soluble aluminium species have been taken into account. The new type of diagrams, based on thermodynamic, graphical and computerized methods, which quantitatively describe the distribution of soluble and insoluble inorganic, and organic, monomeric and polymeric aluminium species in acidic soil solutions in a large range of pH values has been used. The thermodynamics of equilibria of different natural HAS in soils, the conditions under which solids involving common ions can coexist at equilibrium, the acid-base and mineral equilibria and complex formation have been examined. It has been proved that the presence of sulfate ion dramatically alters the HAS mineral solubility under acidic conditions. The obtained data regarding the factors influencing Al speciation, based on the constructed diagrams of heterogeneous chemical equilibria, are in good agreement with the current experimental and theoretical evidence. The proposed approach is intended to determine the dominant processes that are responsible for the Al3+ concentration levels and its speciation in acidic soils.

Nested type Fixed-Cone Valve, numerical simulation, energy dissipating, turbulent flow Abstract: In this paper, In this paper, a new type of Fixed-Cone Valve was proposed by improving the conventional type Fixed-Cone Valve .The flow fields of the two kinds of Fixed-Cone Valves were studied by using numerical simulation method .The computed pressure fields and the velocity fields were analyzed ,which shows that under the same conditions ,and by using the nested Fixed-Cone valve, the pressure of the upstream pipe and the cone valve and the average velocity along the downstream pipeline are reduced ,but the rate of energy dissipation is increased.

Hydraulic classifier is widely used in the mill plant,But the design of traditional hydraulic classifier is simple, less controllable factors, cause the inaccuracy of Classifying product particle size, low classification efficiency. In order to solve these problems, the paper puts forward a new hydraulic classifier, we can improve the efficiency of classification by improving the appearance structure of hydraulic classifier and taking two pieces of top water. In the lab,the classification test was conducted with the coarse slime (0.9~0.3 mm, 0.3~0.074 mm) from Yanma coal preparation plant under the two phase of water supplying. The results of test show that by using two phase of water supplying, the new hydraulic classifier Can improve the classification effect of coarse coal slime.

Designed a new type of double inlet cylindrical cyclone. For search the separation performance in a cylindrical cyclone. By use of CFD,applied the RSM turbulence model and Euler two-phase flow method and ASM which to simulate separation process and flow field within a double inlet cylindrical cyclone. Then compared with the single inlet cyclone, obtained velocity distribution. Analyzed the differences of discrete phase volume fraction between different viscosity. The results show that the new-style cyclone caught more stable fluid field and higher separation efficiency. And when the viscosity is about 0.75 kg/m•s, the separation efficiency and stability of the oil core is higher. Preliminary flow field law is shown up.

Abstract The aim of the paper is to determine complex factors influencing passengers’ satisfaction at RIGA International Airport (Latvia). Theoretical evidence was examined and factor analysis was carried out to identify the main groups of factors affecting passengers’ satisfaction at the Airport. The findings of the study show that the most important five factors affecting it are: (1) availability of telecommunications, (2) effective way finding signs, (3) cleanliness of restrooms, (4) courtesy of staff and (5) availability of staff. The results based on this study will help airport managers in the Baltic Sea region to better serve their passengers through introduction of modern technologies and improved attitudes.

AbstractThe basic concept underlying the alloy design and microstructural control method utilised in developing a new type of β(B2)+ γ (A1) two-phase ductile shape memory alloy in the Ni-Al base systems is briefly reviewed. The characteristic features of the shape memory effect (SME) in the Ni-Al-Fe and Ni-Al-Fe-Mn alloys are reported with particular reference to the transformation and deformation temperatures, the volume fractions of the γ phase, the morphology of the β + γ structure and the effect of cycling. Training by cycling treatment has a significant effect on the degree of shape recovery and pseudo-elasticity in the β + γ two-phase alloys. These duplex β + γ alloys also exhibit a combination of relatively high damping capacity and high yield strength. It is emphasized that these alloys could be expected to fill the need for a new group of shape memory alloys which operate at elevated temperatures over 100°C.

A new cooling concept for high power LED by combining the heat release of high power LED with two-phase heat transfer heat pipes was proposed, and in this study a new type of heat pipe with specific fins structure was developed. Through experimental results, we found the new heat pipe heat exchanger has the features of high efficiency of heat dissipation and compact construction which meets the demand of heat dissipation for high power LED. We also found the heat dissipation performance of the HP heat exchanger changed with the work angle.
