Current developments in information technology and communications, as well as the significant transformations the business world is being forced to make, are generating an opportunity for widespread acceptance of mobile payments. The present research analyzes the intention to use the Apple Pay mobile payment system, as well as contextualizing and evaluating the different antecedents of its use. To carry out the research, 539 users were invited to respond to an online questionnaire, and an analysis of structural equation modeling was used. The results indicate that perceived value is the variable that most influences the intention to use the proposed payment system, followed by perception of utility and risk. This work has important implications for companies in the sector.

The main objective of this article is to identify and analyze the use of mobile payments in two countries, Poland and Turkey. The data for the study were collected with the application of the CAWI method in March 2021. The survey covered nearly 650 respondents in total. The basis for comparisons was populations from two culturally distinct countries, Poland and Turkey, which are at a similar level of development as regards the use of the Internet. The studies were carried out simultaneously in both countries and examined the group of young people aged 18–25. The research surveyed the population, which included the most active Internet users who are taking full advantage of the benefits of globalization, which is facilitated by the development of the Internet worldwide. The survey was translated into the respondents’ native languages, initially validated during the pilot studies and then distributed and circulated among the study participants. The obtained findings were subject to comparison, and the differences between the samples were analyzed and commented on to verify the hypotheses formulated in the study. The main limitation of the conducted study was the selection of a random group—the research sample consisted only of members of the academic community. The study presented in the article fills the research gap regarding international comparisons of the use of m-payments in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. The obtained results indicate the undoubted fact of increased interest in the use of m-payments in e-commerce and e-banking, and even more importantly, differences concerning 40% of the criteria/attributes applied to assess the use of m-payments in both countries. The findings can be used by business practitioners dealing with the development of m-payments. Another potential application is to attempt to bridge the gaps between countries, which may be supported by globalization processes.

Indonesia mobile payment industry is growing organically especially since Indonesia is among the top 3 countries of internet users in Asia. Mobile payment has revolutionized the way we manage digital transactions and it offers a wide variety of payment facilities and benefits compared to cash, credit cards, debit cards or other payment methods. The effect of providing mobile payment users with numerous incentives, for example in the form of cashback, is a compelling factor to be investigated on mobile payments adoption in Jakarta, as various mobile payment operators intensively and continuously provide cashback as a means of customer attraction and retention. In this study, UTAUT2 was adapted to discuss the phenomenon that occurred and to compare the effect of providing incentives in mobile payment technology adoption versus the effect of other factors. Eight constructs from UTAUT2 model were carefully taken into this study, where the original constructs of UTAUT2, namely use behavior, behavioral intention, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence and hedonic motivation, are maintained, while the construct of price value is adapted to become negative cost so that the present mobile payment industry can be applied more representatively. Despite the frequent practice of service providers giving incentives to customers and prospects, this study discovered that price value did not influence behavioral intention. Furthermore, behavioral intention is affected by performance expectancy, hedonic motivation and facilitating conditions, while use behavior significantly affected by behavioral intention.

<p>The darknet monitoring system consists of network sensors widely deployed on the Internet to capture incoming unsolicited packets. A goal of this system is to analyse captured malicious packets and provide effective information to protect regular nonmalicious Internet users from malicious activities. To provide effective and reliable information, the location of sensors must be concealed. However, attackers launch localisation attacks to detect sensors in order to evade them. If the actual location of sensors is revealed, it is almost impossible to identify the latest tactics used by attackers. Thus, in a previous study, we proposed a packet sampling method, which samples incoming packets based on an attribute of the packet sender, to increase tolerance to a localisation attack and maintain the quality of information publicised by the system. We were successful in countering localisation attacks, which generate spikes on the publicised graph to detect a sensor. However, in some cases, with the previously proposed sampling method, spikes were clearly evident on the graph. Therefore, in this paper, we propose advanced sampling methods such that incoming packets are sampled based on multiple attributes of the packet sender. We present our improved methods and show promising evaluation results obtained via a simulation.</p>

Abstract. Mobile payment is generally a payment tool in the form of software available in smartphones to make it easier for its users to make transactions anytime and anywhere his research aims to give empirical evidence of the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, trust, and security on the interest in the use of mobile payment in Garut University students. We collect questionnaires from 100 students that are selected using the proportionate sampling method. The data is then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis’ results show that both perceived of benefit and security variables partially has a positive effect while the perceived ease of use and trust has an insignificant effect on the interest in using mobile payments. This study provides an essential insight into how academic users in rural areas in Indonesia adopt electronic payment technologies. Keywords: Perceived ease of use, Perceived of usefulness, Trust, Security, Interests.

<p>Expanding the degree of financial inclusion is one of the important ways to deepen the effect of the Internet. Internet finance in China greatly reduces the information asymmetry and decreases the transaction costs between financial participants, which to some extent promotes the reform of financial systems in China. Besides the elite and center institutional arrangements, some so-called grassroots or civilian financial structures appear. Thus the finance has begun to show a trend of financial disintermediate. This paper selected some variables to build a measure system, based on the 2015 Household Financial Survey. It firstly analyzed the correlation of variables and tested the variance factors through the analysis of use frequency of mobile payment and its transaction amount, meanwhile through the analysis of the impact of family investment structure on the Internet investment transactions. Then it used principal component analysis method to analyze multiple variables in reduced dimensionality. After that it tested ADF unit root and Granger causality of screened indexes, and established a stepwise multivariate linear regression model. Finally, this paper illustrated that the expansion of mobile payment transaction had an impact on the increase in the Internet financial investment transactions based on the empirical analysis and theoretical deduction, and then the paper gave some relevant recommendations.</p>

Despite the increasing adoption of financial technology (FinTech) and the need for secure payment methods, mobile payments as a mode of settling daily business transactions have not received sufficient attention. To date, several business actors prefer to use conventional money payment modes. However, it is apparent that the need for a more effective payment method today is considered as a basic necessity, considering the current complexity of consumers and the negative effect of COVID-19. Moreover, the crisis raised a wave of apprehension over a large number of business actors, particularly small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs). The literature search indicated that the government should implement the correct policy to help create an acceptable environment for financial transactions for both the user and providers. It is also necessary to ensure that client security and privacy rights are protected during the mobile payment transactions.
