Community service is one of the three principles of higher education that has an impact on improving the quality of the people it serves. Maranatha Christian University is one of the universities that seeks to be able to provide the widest possible way to improve the quality of society in community service activities. We lecturers of Entrepreneurshipand Marketing Major as part of Maranatha Christian University make this happen through community service activities at GKP Tamiyang Indramayu. The community service activities discuss the marketing conceptdan its implication towards marketing of Tamiyang's unique products. The method of implementing PKM activities is carried out by training, in the form of exposure to marketing concepts and several things that can be applied in marketing of Tamiyang’s unique product. With this marketing concept training, it is hoped that they can find market potential and increase the knowledge of potential consumers on Tamiyang's unique products, so that it can become a strategy in marketing optimization of Tamiyang's unique products. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah salah satu tridharma perguruan tinggi yang memberikan dampak kepada peningkatan kualitas masyarakat yang dilayani. Universitas Kristen Maranatha adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi berupaya untuk dapat memberikan seluas-luasnya bagi peningkatan kualitas masyarakat dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakatnya. Kami para dosen KBK Kewirausahaan dan KBK Pemasaran sebagai salah satu bagian dari Universitas Kristen Maranatha mewujudkan hal tersebut melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di GKP Tamiyang Indramayu. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian masyarakatnya membahas tentang konsep pemasaran dan implikasinya terhadap pemasaran produk khas Tamiyang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan pelatihan, berupa pemaparan mengenai konsep pemasaran dan beberapa hal yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pemasaran produk khas Tamiyang. Dengan pelatihan konsep pemasaran ini diharapkan dapat menemukan potensi pasar dan meningkatkan pengetahuan konsumen potensial terhadap produk khas Tamiyang, sehingga dapat menjadi suatu strategi dalam optimalisasi pemasaran produk khas Tamiyang.

The community service program is a form of the tri dharma of higher education that can be carried out through Student Community Service activities. One of the villages that is the location for the implementation of the STIBA Makassar KKN is Kalabbirang Village, which is located in Bantimurung District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. This article aims to provide a description of the community service process carried out by STIBA Makassar students in Kalabbirang Village. The program activities carried out are 1) Friday blessing; 2) Muslim fiqh taklim; 3) TPA development; 4) Dirose program; 5) Tahsin program; 6) Tarbiyah Islamiyah; 7) Halaqoh luhgawiyah; 8) youth taklim; 9) youth taklim; 10) Natural Tadabbur; 11) Handicraft training; 12) Training on organizing the body; 13) Festival of pious children. The results of the community service program contributed greatly to the formation of the Q'uranic community for the people in Kalabbirang Village.

The purpose of Community Service Activities is to carry out one of the Higher Education Tri Dharma. In addition, it is expected that through community service, the existence of higher education institutions can make a major contribution to the development and application of knowledge to the community. The method of activity used is that we go to the 26 Bintaro State PKBM school which is located at Jl. Bintaro Permai III / 30B, Ex. Bintaro, Kec. Pesanggrahan, City Administration of South Jakarta and will provide training there on 10-12 October 2019. This training aims to make students and students who attend PKBM 26 Bintaro, especially in the PKBM program, increase fraternity and friendship solidarity between students to avoid bullying in socialize in their environment and the world of work. The results of community service obtained were increased knowledge for Participants (Students) of the 26th State PKBM Bintaro so that they had a good view of the importance of increasing the sense of brotherhood and friendship solidarity among students because of our participation as qualified generations of the nation (HR) for quality entering the world of work and how important it is to improve the quality of themselves to avoid bullying in socializing and the world of work. The knowledge gained at Community Service this time is expected to be able provide new enthusiasm for us in delivering material and motivation and contribute to the younger generation, both within the school, campus and environment family.Keywords: Brotherhood, Solidarity, Bullying

Kelurahan Putat Jaya, Surabaya merupakan kawasan Eks-Lokalisasi Dolly. Kawasan tersebut dikenal dengan masa lalunya yang banyak dilakukan praktek prostitusi, hingga dicatat sebagai kawasan lokalisasi terbesar se-Asia Tenggara. Guna memperbaiki pandangan tersebut, maka pemerintah mulai menjalankan beberapa program untuk memperbaiki kualitas hidup masyarakat di kawasan Dolly dengan menyediakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi mereka. Rumah Kreatif Batik Putat Jaya merupakan salah satu wadah dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Kelurahan Putat Jaya. Wadah ini juga berguna untuk melestarikan budaya Batik sebagai bukti pengabdian masyarakat kepada Indonesia. Paper ini membahas mengenai proyek pengabdian untuk pengembangan lokasi Rumah Batik Putat Jaya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh 5 orang Mahasiswa, dan dibimbing oleh satu Dosen dari Program Studi Interior Universitas Kristen Petra. Proyek ini dijalankan melalui lima tahap Design Thinking menurut Stanford, yaitu emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Proyek pengabdian ini menghasilkan desain yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat Surabaya dan sekitarnya untuk lebih mengenal budaya batik.Putat Jaya Village, Surabaya is a Dolly Ex-Localization area. The area is known for its past which is widely practiced prostitution, to be recorded as the largest localization area in Southeast Asia. To improve this view, the government began to run several programs to improve the quality of life of the people in the Dolly region by providing them with jobs. Batik Putat Jaya Creative House is one of the institutions of the government to improve the quality of life of the Putat Jaya Kelurahan community. This container is also useful for preserving Batik culture as evidence of community service to Indonesia. This paper discusses the community service project for the development of the Putat Jaya Batik House location. This activity was carried out by 5 students, and was guided by a Lecturer from the Interior Study Program of Petra Christian University. The project is run through five stages of Design Thinking, namely emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This service project produces a design that can increase the appeal of the people of Surabaya and surrounding areas to get to know the culture of batik.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi dosen berbagi pengetahuan dan wawasan melalui penyuluhan pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia agar senantiasa berupaya mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dan juga bertujuan Karang Taruna Kampung serua poncol dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi Kampung serua poncol. Pengembangan juga dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sehingga lebih positif dalam berkontribusi tenaga dan pikiran untuk memajukan Kampung serua poncol.Kata Kunci : Manajemen Sumber Daya ManusiaABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service activity is to fulfill the obligations of lecturers to do tridharma of higher education. Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine

  Abstract The evolution of teaching is currently considered a very important task, both from an institutional and a moral viewpoint. The evaluation of such a domain, and its conduct, has been reported by several research studies in the literature. “Who? What? How? Drawing from which references? Which clues? Should the people assessed take part in the process? To what extent should the results be publicized?” (Demailly, 2001). For that reason, we will first draw some guidelines for the evaluation of teaching and try to define its possible objectives. Three main domains may be contemplated: teachers’ activity (teaching), the learning process (learning), and the effects of the teaching/learning process. These draw upon an enquiry carried out in three different faculties by our research team. This study is related to the VOLUBILIS project "Moroccan and European students: a comparative approach”, which aims to identify the challenges and expectations of Moroccan students. The purpose of this research is to indicate how students at Hassan II University of Casablanca judge the quality of their studies. We will be able to show that an evaluation of courses by students is both possible and profitable. As a matter of fact, this enquiry has brought up valuable information about higher education pedagogy that concerns the three fields mentioned earlier, and it also offer some suggestions to generate improvements. Academic quality is defined as the equivalent to academic standards related to student learning outcomes, which consist of specific levels of knowledge, skills, and abilities achieved by students participating in a program. The achievement of academic standards is accommodated by implementing both internal and external quality assurance practices. Internal quality assurance refers to policies and practices used by the higher education institutions to monitor and improve the quality of their education, while external quality assurance refers to policies and practices set up by external parties to assure the quality of higher education institutions and programs. Petra Christian University has built and implemented its internal quality assurance since 2009 based on its unique quality culture. After its ten-year journey and the achievements that Petra Christian University has reached in 2019, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 are challenges ahead that Petra Christian University has to face.

Classroom Action Research is one effort that can be done by professional teachers in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of community service is to improve teachers' understanding in understanding PTK and can carry out PTK. This activity is intended for math teachers who are members of MGMP in High School. The form of service activities carried out in this activity is in the form of material delivery, practice of making proposals and consulting tasks. The workshop activity was attended by 30 high school mathematics teachers in Solok City. The main problem responded by partners is Karang Taruna as a business effort in Warnasari, one of which has not yet formed a commitment to make partnerships in planning in its area, because of the lack of resources and capital owned.The purpose of this community service program is to educate business actors related to the potential of existing agrotourism with the resources needed to build partnerships through private-public partnerships needed to develop existing tourism potential.The methodology of implementation in community service is divided into 3 (three) The result of community service activities in the village of Warnasari, Pangalengan Sub-district, Bandung Regency, was to build a public private partnership so that forming an MOU also gained the ability to manage tourism in the village of Warnasari, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency.The impact of community service activities is the assistance of youth organizations as an aid to businesses and village apparatus in developing existing potential through private public partnerships developed by the MOU.The benefit of community service activities is the achievement of the welfare of the people of Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, with tourism support in the area.
