Character education is an important element in the effort to prepare superior Indonesian human resources, it is of particular concern to be applied especially among students, there is a need for character education because the attitudes and behavior of the people and people of Indonesia now tend to ignore the noble values of Pancasila which are highly respected and should be rooted in everyday attitudes and behaviors, values such as honesty, politeness, togetherness and religious, gradually eroded by foreign cultures that tend to be hedonistic, materialistic, and individualistic, so that the noble character values are ignored in the future if students and young people are not equipped with character education. Law students have their own challenges, especially in the era of globalization. This paper analyzes and illustrates the character strengthening program for law student activists in Semarang State University through several programs, namely public speaking, strengthening student idealism, strengthening advocacy capacitation and human rights assistance and self-motivation. This research is a field research with the object of research as activists of law students who are members of student organizations. This research confirms that the programs for strengthening the character of students experience several obstacles, one of which is the model used and a relatively short time. However, character education for student activists helps students to survive in real life as part of community members.

The relationship between local economic development and the global economy is a dynamic process that differs in space and time and from country to country. Nowhere are these differences more evident than within the Asian and Pacific region—a region of contrasts. It is a region that contains nine of the so called ‘least developed’ countries and more than 50 per cent of the world's poor. It hosts Japan, which emerged as a major economic power in the 1960s and 1970s, to be followed a short time later by the ‘tiger’ economies of South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. More recently, the region's development has been dominated by the emerging global powers of China, India and Brazil. The contrasting characteristics and performance of these nations becomes even more graphic when the focus centres on the metropolitan cities of the region, including Mumbai, Shanghai, Apia, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Santiago and Auckland (Shirley, 2008).

This article discusses the main ways of using neural networks and machine learning methods of various types in computer games. Machine learning and neural networks are hot topics in many technology fields. One of them is the creation of computer games, where new tools are used to make games more interesting. Remastered and modified games with neural networks have become a new trend. One of the most popular ways to implement artificial intelligence is neural networks. They are used in everything from medicine to the entertainment industry. But one of the most promising areas for their development is games. The game world is an ideal platform for testing artificial intelligence without the danger of harming nature or people. Making bots more complex is just a small part of what neural networks can do. They are also actively used in game development, and in some areas they already make people feel uncomfortable. Research is ongoing on color and light correction, real-time character animation and behavior control. The main types of neural networks that can learn such functions are considered. Neural networks learn (and self-learn) very quickly. The more primitive the task, the faster the person will become unnecessary. This is already noticeable in the gaming industry, but will soon spread to other areas of life, because games are just a convenient platform for experimenting with artificial intelligence before its implementation in real life. The main problem faced by scientists is that it is difficult for neural networks to copy the mechanics of the game. There are some achievements in this direction, but research continues. Therefore, in the future, real specialists will be required for the development of games for a long time, although AI is already coping with some tasks.

Introduction: The ongoing pandemic of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS COV-2) has jeopardized people’s health and the global economy. The infection caused by these viruses inflicts immunosuppression and an unprecedented range of symptoms leading to mortality. At this stage, there are no countermeasures or medicines to overcome rapid disease proliferation and aberrant immunological response. Objectives: To determine different immunomodulatory therapeutics that could be potential agents to alleviate viral and other lethal infections and possibly rejuvenate immunological and tissue repair response against this disease. Methods: A review of the literature was performed by screening different scientific databases to procure various immunomodulatory therapies for the treatment of SAR COV-2. Results: A comprehensive literature review indicated that different foods rich in vitamins (A-D), selenium and iron can enhance immunological response against various deleterious infections whereas different nutritious drinks that include hydrogen enriched water and green tea alleviate inflammation and elicit wound healing properties. Black cumin seeds and Garlic has a myriad of biological activities due to abundant bioactive phytochemicals that play an important role in the elimination of various bacterial and viral infections. Conclusion: These foods/supplements are relatively safe to consume and possess high toxicity profile and could be a potential nutritional intervention in order to create adequate immunity within a population to fight against this prevailing infection.

In a study of the natural foods of the spider, Linyphia triangularis (Clerck), a weekly 3-hour watch of 50 webs was kept from May 1 to October 15. A total of 581 insects representing 153 species entered webs during the observation periods. Most of these were represented by very few individuals, and more than half of the spiders' diet was supplied by about 20 species of prey. Most of the prey were winged adults. Most of the species were present in the community in the adult stage for a short time only. Thus over the season the spider exploited a constantly changing complex of prey species. At any one time the spider relies on a very few species for most of its food. Of all the insects in the community, only those with certain characteristics of distribution, morphology, and behavior are available to the spiders. Suitable characteristics occur in a wide range of distantly related species; thus the spider is not restricted in its prey to any taxonomic group. From the insects that enter the webs the spider exercises some selection. There is a strong suggestion that new or strange species entering a web tend to be rejected on their first few entries, but if they continue to enter they will eventually be accepted.

Background.Emergency department (ED) readmissions are considered an indicator of healthcare quality that is particularly relevant in older adults. The primary objective of this study was to identify key factors for predicting patients returning to the ED within 30 days of being discharged.Methods.We analysed patients who attended our ED in June 2014, stratified into four groups based on the Kaiser pyramid. We collected data on more than 100 variables per case including demographic and clinical characteristics and drug treatments. We identified the variables with the highest discriminating power to predict ED readmission and constructed classifiers using machine learning methods to provide predictions.Results.Classifier performance distinguishing between patients who were and were not readmitted (within 30 days), in terms of average accuracy (AC). The variables with the greatest discriminating power were age, comorbidity, reasons for consultation, social factors, and drug treatments.Conclusions.It is possible to predict readmissions in stratified groups with high accuracy and to identify the most important factors influencing the event. Therefore, it will be possible to develop interventions to improve the quality of care provided to ED patients.

Online advertising, as a vast market, has gained significant attention in various platforms ranging from search engines, third-party websites, social media, and mobile apps. The prosperity of online campaigns is a challenge in online marketing and is usually evaluated by user response through different metrics, such as clicks on advertisement (ad) creatives, subscriptions to products, purchases of items, or explicit user feedback through online surveys. Recent years have witnessed a significant increase in the number of studies using computational approaches, including machine learning methods, for user response prediction. However, existing literature mainly focuses on algorithmic-driven designs to solve specific challenges, and no comprehensive review exists to answer many important questions. What are the parties involved in the online digital advertising eco-systems? What type of data are available for user response prediction? How do we predict user response in a reliable and/or transparent way? In this survey, we provide a comprehensive review of user response prediction in online advertising and related recommender applications. Our essential goal is to provide a thorough understanding of online advertising platforms, stakeholders, data availability, and typical ways of user response prediction. We propose a taxonomy to categorize state-of-the-art user response prediction methods, primarily focusing on the current progress of machine learning methods used in different online platforms. In addition, we also review applications of user response prediction, benchmark datasets, and open source codes in the field.
