In the conditions of development of the national economy, which requires technological and structural transformations, informatization of the main processes, there is a significant increase in the role of personnel in the success of trade enterprises. Personnel is the main productive force in solving issues of economic growth and efficient operation of enterprises, ensuring their competitiveness. The article examines the process of improving the personnel management systemof a trading enterprise, analyzes the methods of personnel management, features of personnel policy. The authors analyzed the activities of the enterprise, assessed its composition, personnel structure, tasks and factors of personnel management and formed proposals and measures to improve personnel management at the enterprise. To improve the enterprise needs to implement a competency-based approach to personnel management and improve the training system, retraining of employees and training of administrative and managerial staff.

This paper looks to expand on the INEC 2016 paper ‘The future role of virtual reality within warship support solutions for the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers’ presented by Ross Basketter, Craig Birchmore and Abbi Fisher from BAE Systems in May 2016 and the EAAW VII paper ‘Testing the boundaries of virtual reality within ship support’ presented by John Newell from BAE Systems and Simon Luck from BMT DSL in June 2017. BAE Systems and BMT have developed a 3D walkthrough training system that supports the teams working closely with the QEC Aircraft Carriers in Portsmouth and this work was presented at EAAW VII. Since then this work has been extended to demonstrate the art of the possible on Type 26. This latter piece of work is designed to explore the role of 3D immersive environments in the development and fielding of support and training solutions, across the range of support disciplines. The combined team are looking at how this digital thread leads from design of platforms, both surface and subsurface, through build into in-service support and training. This rich data and ways in which it could be used in the whole lifecycle of the ship, from design and development (used for spatial acceptance, HazID, etc) all the way through to operational support and maintenance (in conjunction with big data coming off from the ship coupled with digital tech docs for maintenance procedures) using constantly developing technologies such as 3D, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality, will be proposed.  The drive towards gamification in the training environment to keep younger recruits interested and shortening course lengths will be explored. The paper develops the options and looks to how this technology can be used and where the value proposition lies.

Public investment in education and training occupies an important proportion in Vietnam public budget, approximately 20%, equivalent to 5% GDP. Public investment in education and training has many positive benefits and impact on the economy and society by contributing to economic growth, by improving the national productivity, people’s qualification and intellectual level well as reducing unemployment, poverty in a country. On the basis of an empirical analysis in Vietnam, this paper propose several relevant recommendation for Vietnam government to improve the performance of public investment in education and training by making contribution to ensure suitable investment structure as well as uphold important role of education and training to the development of the economy and society.

In the course of the research, we examined the impact of the selection and training system of a Hungarian automotive company on organizational performance, which together ensure the future development of the company. It contributes to the optimization of sales, purchasing and logistics processes, ensures customer satisfaction and the success of the company. In this fast-paced and globalized world, it is essential for companies to be aware that one of the most important factors of production is human resources themselves, whose proper selection and training are a key element in maintaining and developing economic competitiveness. Human resources play the biggest role in the operation of an economic organization. Process quality and process orientation reduce costs, increase profitability, and improve processes to always meet growing requirements. This is the basis of the quality strategy. Therefore, it consistently applies preventive quality assurance methods, learns from failures, eliminates the causes of mistakes without delays and transfers its experience to all areas of the company for preventive action. It is customer-oriented and strives for excellence in all areas, and thus makes it an obligation for everyone to aim for the highest level of customer service. Due to the special peculiarities and characteristics of the labor force, it cannot be compared to any of the production resources. Taking this as a basis, the human resource management used to be more of a functional purpose, while in recent decades human factors have become an essential source of competitiveness. The market operation and performance of an organization depends significantly on how we can select the most suitable workforce. We need to see what the strategic points that determine the role of HR are, and we are also looking for the answer in which direction the needs, expectations and professionalism given by the generational difference move the activities of human resources. The aim of the research is to get an answer to how the employees of one of the leading Hungarian players in the automotive industry perceive the importance of the selection and training of the workforce in maintaining and improving competitiveness. To this end, we used a semi-structured interview, with the help of which we evaluated the current selection and training processes in the light of competitiveness and made suggestions for the improvement and refinement of these processes.

The changing role of the pharmacist led to some improvements of pharmacy education worldwide these last years. Curricula have evolved and the content-based education has been converted into a competency-based education. The definition of a global practice-based competency framework by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the European Pharmacy Competencies Framework by the European the Quality Assurance in European Pharmacy Education and Training (PHAR-QA) project helps Universities to keep in with these changes. The National Council of Deans of Faculties of Pharmacy in Turkey also defined 169 competencies with their sub-competencies that have to be reached upon the completion of a pharmacy education program, yet it did not indicate how the faculties can measure if their curricula are consistent with these competencies. This study aims to provide a method for a quantitative mapping of a given curriculum in order to analyze if a curriculum fulfills the requirements defined by the National Deans Council. It also helps to easily determine the weaknesses and strengths of a program. Moreover, with this study, the consistency of the content of the courses with the mission and vision defined by an institution can be easily determined. Thus, this study can also be a useful tool for the revision and enhancement of a program according to institutional targets.

An attempt is made to analyze the Russian financial system based on the existing international OECD methodology according to the Central Bank of Russia. The modern controversial views on the concepts of the impact of the financial system on economic growth, existing in the world financial science, are presented. The fundamental theories of economic growth in the format of production functions and the author’s interpretation of macroeconomic identity are presented; the role of labor and capital in economic growth, as the main factors subject to qualitative changes to the greatest extent, is noted. As an intermediate result for the analysis of the financial system of the Russian Federation, a coefficient is proposed that allows one to potentially analyze the influence of the qualitative characteristics of the state of the financial system on the socio-economic development of the national economy. The hypothesis about the influence of the financial system on the state of the national economy has been confirmed.

The growth of crisis processes at present stage of socio-economic development of Ukraine increases the importance of understanding the role of individual in achieving social progress. Traditional approaches of understanding the sources of economic development are losing their relevance, shifting the emphasis to the intangible resources of innovative renewal, especially human capital. That is why investigation of role and importance of human capital development of enterprise in ensuring the economic growth of national economy and improving the welfare of its population in particular is very important.The purpose of the research is justification of scientific approaches to understanding the nature and importance of human capital of enterprise in ensuring the economic growth of society.The article substantiates the role of human capital of enterprise in the economic growth of individual, enterprise and society as a whole. The essence of the category «human capital of enterprise», the forms of its manifestation depending on the stage of implementation, the functions and need for its development for enterprise are determined. The author's vision of human role in formation and using of human capital in the context of achieving economic development of society is presented. The role and types of investments in formation and development of human capital of enterprise are substantiated. The peculiarities of this type of investments different from the financing of other enterprise capital are presented. Separated three main components of human capital, the development of which requires investment: health, education and cultural development of employees. The possibilities of investment of these directions by enterprise are characterized. There was noted that the relevant costs should be considered not as consumer but as investment, as they are profitable not only for one person but also for society, providing a significant effect of national economy growth as a whole.
