THE OUTSOURCING PROCESS CONSEQUENCES FOR MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES SECTOR ABSTRACT The present study proposed the accomplishment of a bibliographic review with search and selection criteria used by the systematic review, having as main objective the identification of the effects arising from the process of outsourcing in the health services management sector. This was supported by studies on the subject, published in the MEDLINE and SciELO databases, where they underwent a selection process, resulting in a collection of 15 articles. Among the results found, it was observed that the evolution of the outsourcing process brought benefits of great relevance to the health field, mainly in relation to the reduction of the budgetary costs of several health units, favoring access to the users of health services and consequently promoting an improvement in the quality of care to this population. However, some studies have shown some flaws in the administrative sector that have led to the emergence of serious financial problems. Therefore, it is essential that preventive and monitoring measures be taken in order to avoid future setbacks.

Abstract Background A curriculum is dynamic entity and hence, metaphorically, can be considered ‘alive’. Curricular diseases may impair its quality and hence its viability. The quality of a curriculum is typically assessed against certain quality standards only. This approach does not identify the inhibitors impeding the achievement of quality standards. The purpose of this study is to identify not only standards but also inhibitors of curriculum quality, allowing for a more comprehensive assessment of what we coin ‘curriculum viability’. Methods We performed a scoping review of ‘curriculum viability’, after which 13 articles were found eligible through a meticulous search and selection process. We first identified 1233 studies based on matching keywords, title and abstract; 36 of which met our inclusion criteria. After application of the Qualsyst criteria, two independent reviewers performed a thematic analysis of the 13 articles that remained. Results While all studies reported on standards of quality, only two studies described both standards and inhibitors of quality. These standards and inhibitors were related to educational content and strategy, students, faculty, assessment, educational/work environment, communication, technology and leadership. Conclusions The framework of curriculum viability thus developed will help identify inhibitors adversely affecting the curriculum viability and remaining hidden or un-noticed when curriculum evaluation is done.

ABSTRACT: Projects involving the issue of waste in schools have taken place when the subject is linked to environment and sustainability issues. However, most of the actions developed focuses on the post-consumption, whereas the work of rethinking consumption is still not widespread. Linking food and waste generation, it is common knowledge that the waste generated is the result of a style / standard of living of a society: the richer and consumerist she is, the more it will be generating garbage. Any attempt to reduce the amount of waste requires changes in the behavior of society. Based on this assumption, the work seeks to establish an approach able to get people involved to rethink their living standards and consumption, through a multidisciplinary approach with regard to quality of life, healthy eating and waste generation. Keywords: Environmental education, food, waste, formal education.

Supplier selection is one of the most critical processes within the purchasing function. Choosing the right supplier makes a strategic difference to an organization’s ability to reduce costs and improve the quality of products by helping to select the most suitable supplier. Sütaş Dairy Company, which is entered to Macedonia market in 2012. In the dairy company, there is only one purchasing manager who selects the farmers. Importance weights of criteria are determined using his reference, and also the alternatives are evaluated according to each criterion. The most important criteria are product and other costs, the price is also playing an important role, but due to the small marketplace of Macedonia, the prices are almost the same in every region. To select the dairy supplier in Macedonia, Fuzzy-TOPSIS technique is used. The main goal of using fuzzy logic in this study is to help decision-makers for identifying the importance of selection criteria and rank possible suppliers easily. Since the supplier selection process is a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem, after identify the weights and rankings in a fuzzy environment, TOPSIS algorithm has been used in the rest of the problem. Finally, fuzzy TOPSIS methodology has been implemented successfully, and its result pointed out the most suitable suppliers.

Abstract. The quality of health services depends on the contribution of all the professionals involved in the system, including certain groups, usually forgotten and underrated, such as the health-transport technicians (HTT). With the aim of improving this group's performance, an intervention program, focusing on the development of the workers' technical and social skills, was designed in a collective of enterprises. Information about the first stage of this program, consisting of the assessment of these workers' social skills, is offered in this study. A specific questionnaire was developed: The Health-Transport Technicians Social Skills Questionnaire (HTT-SSQ), made up of three scales (assertive, passive, and aggressive behavior). It was administered to a large sample (N = 530) from the above-mentioned association. The psychometric properties of the questionnaire were analyzed, with quite satisfactory indexes of internal consistency and factor validity, and the group's deficiencies (excess or deficit) were evaluated.
