The study was conducted on 80 adolescents, there were 40 from parentally deprived and 40 students from non – deprived. Their age ranged between 16 to 18 years. They were belonging to Ranchi town. Mental Health Battery (2008) by Singh and Sengupta were used to measure Mental Health of the respondents. ‘t’ test was applied to check significance of difference between means of the two groups. The finding of the study revealed that there was significant influence of parental deprivation on Mental Health. Non-deprived adolescents had significantly better mental health than parentally deprived adolescents.

This abstract deals with the impact of LOC [Locus of Control], conservatism and social support on mental health. For this a study was done. The study was conducted on 160 respondents to examine the effect of locus of control, conservatism and social support on mental health. It was hypothesized that locus of control, conservatism and social support would have significant influence on mental health. For the purpose, MMHSI by Thakur and Kumar, Hindi version of Rotter’s Locus of Control Scale by Hasnayan and Joshi, Mohsin’s C-Scale, Social Support Scale by Asthana and Verma along with PDS were used to measure mental status of the respondents respectively. The obtained data were analysed using t-test.

The purpose of this study was to find out the impact of spiritual practices on wellbeing among Madarsa and University students. The sample consisted of 100 (n=50 Madarsa and n=50 University students) participants. Spiritual Practices Scale (M) and Well Being Scale, was used to collect the data. Simple Linear Regression, Correlation and t-test were used for data analyses. The findings of this study revealed that, there is positive and significant influence of spiritual practices on overall wellbeing of students. There was also significant influence of spiritual practices on wellbeing of Madarsa as well as University students. Further t-test was applied and significant difference was found between spiritual practices as well as wellbeing of Madarsa and University students. This study has good significance in practical life; it could serve as a guide to increase student‟s spiritual practices to maximize wellbeing.

Background:Clinicians are encouraged to use non-pharmacologic interventions first as part of the treatment of responsive behaviours due to mental health conditions. Music therapy is an example of such an intervention. In recent years, there has been an increased research focus on individualized music (IM) because it considers patient’s personal music preferences. However, the findings of whether IM listening is more beneficial than general music listening has been inconsistent. Objective:This study is to further compare the effects of IM and elevator (baseline) music listening on enjoyment behaviours of geriatric inpatients. Methods:Fifteen participants were recruited from a geriatric psychiatry unit in an acute tertiary mental health facility in British Columbia, Canada. Their mean age was 74 years and their mean MMSE was 18. Each participant attended two 30-minute music listening sessions. Each session included a 15-minute baseline music playlist and a 15-minute IM playlist. The sequence of the two playlists was counterbalanced for each participant across the two sessions. The IM playlists were created by interviewing each participant with a personalized music preference questionnaire. The baseline (elevator) playlist was simply consisted of instrumental, non-lyrical jazz and classical music and was the same for every participant. The enjoyment behaviors during the sessions for each participant were measured by the Enjoyment Behavioral Coding Scheme (EBCS), which was developed for this project based on previous literature and was shown to have a good inter rater reliability. Results:The average total scores of the EBCS across two sessions of IM and baseline music listening were calculated for each participant. Paired samples t-test was used to compare the scores. Though the mean total score of the EBCS for IM session was higher than that for the baseline session, the t-test showed the difference did not reach statistical significance. Conclusion:Participants appeared to enjoy both the IM and baseline music sessions equally.

This study aims to examine the effect of PAD, Balancing Funds in this case Revenue Sharing Fund  (DBH), GeneralAllocation Grant  (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), and Budget Financing Surplus (SILPA) on Capital Expenditures and the impact on the Economic Growth of the Regional Government of Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research used mixed methods, with sequential explanatory models, where data collection and quantitative analysis were carried out in the first stage by using secondary data. Population in this research are Statement of Budget Realization and Gross Domestic Regional Product Report by Kupang City Government with 13 years samples from 2005 to 2017. Then followed by collection and analysis of qualitative data in the second stage through interviews, in order to strengthen the results of quantitative research conducted in the first phase. To test and prove the research hypothesis, the analytical method used to test the effect of PAD, DBH, DAU, DAK, and SILPA on Capital Expenditure is Multiple Linear Regression and to examine the Impact of Capital Expenditures on Economic Growth, Simple Linear Regression is used.Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that through t test, partially PAD variable gives significant influence towards capital expenditure, it is showed by significant influence in amount of0.001 < 0,05 probability value. DAU gives significant influence towards capital expenditure, it is showed by significant influence in amount of 0.021 < 0.05 probability value. While DBH has no significant effect on Capital Expenditures with  significant value of 0.381 > 0.05 probability value. DAK has no significant effect on Capital Expenditures with significant value of 0.219 > 0.05 probability value. SILPA has no significant effect on Capital Expenditures with  sig value of 0.305> 0.05 probability value. While through the F Test  PAD, DBH, DAU, DAK, and SILPA simultaneously gives significant influence towards capital expenditure with a value of sig 0,000 <0,05 probability value. Furthermore, through t Test Capital Expenditures gives significant influence towards Economic Growth of Kupang city with significant value of 0.010 <0.05 probability value. Key words: Local Own Sources Revenue, Revenue Sharing Fund,  General Allocation Grant, Special Allocation Fund, Budget Financing Surplus, Capital  Expenditure and Economic GrowthThis study aims to examine the effect of PAD, Balancing Funds in this case Revenue Sharing Fund  (DBH), GeneralAllocation Grant  (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), and Budget Financing Surplus (SILPA) on Capital Expenditures and the impact on the Economic Growth of the Regional Government of Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research used mixed methods, with sequential explanatory models, where data collection and quantitative analysis were carried out in the first stage by using secondary data. This report concerns the activities developed by the Mental Health and Social Exclusion (MHSE) Network, an initiative supported by the Mental Health Europe (World Federation of Mental Health). We report some data from the preliminary survey done in five capital cities of the European Union (Madrid, Copenhagen, Brussels, Lisbon, and Rome). The main aim of this survey was to investigate, from a mostly qualitative point of view, the causal and supportive factors implicated in the situation of the homeless mentally ill in Europe. The results point out the familial and childhood roots of homelessness, the perceived causes of the situation, the relationships with the support services, and the expectations of future of the homeless mentally ill. The analysis of results has helped to identify the different variables implicated in the social rupture process that influences homelessness in major European cities. The results were used as the basis for the design of a more ambitious current research project about the impact of the medical and psychosocial interventions in the homeless. This project is being developed in 10 capital cities of the European Union with a focus on the program and outcome evaluation of the health and psychosocial services for the disadvantaged.
