This study aims to describe the mistakes made by students in solving rectangular problems in the concrete phase and the transition phase. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with four research subjects taken based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using the test. Data analysis techniques using a model developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification of data. Students often made mistakes. In the concrete phase, students making drawings that are told about problems.  Errors in determining formulas and not writing completion plans, error when doing completion procedures and not using formulas properly, and not re-checking answers. In the transition phase, students who are wrong in describing the shapes told in the problem. Errors in writing the formula that needs to be used, at the stage of carrying out the plan there is no error, and not re-checking the answers.</p>

Artinya 45% siswa memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman matematis. AbstractThis study aims to describe the mathematics learning process using Geogebra video media on quadratic functions material and to describe students' mathematical understanding before and after the use of Geogebra video media with quadratic functions material. This research is a descriptive study using the research subjects of class XI SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baron totaling 11 students who were selected based on purposive sampling. The data collection method in this study used the initial and final mathematical comprehension test techniques and documentation techniques during the learning process. The results showed that in the learning process of mathematics assisted by Geogebra video media, the quadratic function material was divided into 3 activities, namely introduction, core, and closing. The results of students' mathematical understanding before and after the use of Geogebra video media with the quadratic function material there were quite differences, namely from the initial mathematical understanding of 9% to 45%. This means that 45% of students meet all indicators of mathematical understanding.

This study aims to describe the adaptive reasoning skills of students in SMP Negeri 5 Purwokerto in terms of student learning activeness in the subject system of two-variable linear equations. This study uses qualitative research methods and uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation (display data) and conclusions (verification/conclusion drawing). Sources of data in this study were students of class VIII H. The research subjects were obtained using purposive sampling techniques, and students were categorized into three categories, namely students with high, medium and low learning activeness categories. Each group was selected by three students for research purposes. Data collection methods in this study used questionnaires, tests, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be said that students who have high learning activeness are able and meet three of the five indicators of adaptive reasoning skills appropriately, students who have active learning are not yet adequately fulfilling indicators of adaptive reasoning skills appropriately, and students who have low learning activeness have not been able to and mastering precisely the indicators of adaptive reasoning abilities.

This study examined how training in a nonsectarian toolkit of spiritually based self-management techniques affected the caregiving self-efficacy (confidence) of health professionals, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and chaplains. Before and after an 8-week, 2-hour per week training in the meditation-based Eight Point Program of Easwaran (1978/1991b), participants ( n = 14) completed a newly developed 32-item caregiving self-efficacy questionnaire. Data were also gathered regarding sociodemographic characteristics, spiritual and religious self-perceptions and practices, and program adherence. Results indicated that mean pre/post self-efficacy increases were large (Cohen's d > 0.80), statistically significant ( p < 0.01), and associated with greater use of specific pro-gram practices. Three participants reported increases in self-perceived spirituality. Self-efficacy increases were largest for participants identifying themselves as least spiritual at pretest ( p < 0.05), or reporting increases in spirituality ( p < 0.05). Although preliminary, these findings support using this already widely crossculturally disseminated toolkit for a variety of purposes in clinical practice, health promotion, and health professional education.

Critical thinking is a careful and calculated thinking activity using complex reasoning. The purpose of this study is to describe the students' ability to think critically in solving problems based on gender. The research subjects were two second semester students of Mathematics Education Program Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. The instruments were a mathematics problem-solving sheet and interview guidelines. Data were analyzed qualitatively by three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study found that the two subjects could bring up the five indicators of critical thinking. The male student was better in providing analytical analysis on the further explanation of the solution given, and the female student was better providing a complete, clear and detailed explanation so that it takes a longer time. However, the two students could not accurately draw conclusions and analysis. It is recommended that the lecturer provides various questions with different levels so that students are accustomed to thinking critically and they, later, as teachers also can train students' critical thinking.
