Waqf is one of the ways of distributing welfare to the community. The continuity of the benefits of waqf is made possible by the enactment of the types of productive waqf established to support religious activities, compensation, education, and public facilities. Implementation of waqf in Indonesia especially productive waqf still faces various obstacles. Various waqf practices in other countries that are considered successful in managing productive waqf need to be a lesson for Indonesia, one of which is the application of productive waqf in Kuwait. This study is a theoretical study of productive waqf as well as a case study of the application of productive waqf in Kuwait which is considered successful. The development of waqf in Kuwait has passed a long stage (seven stages) from waqf management by the community (pre-1921 AD) until the SekjendWakaf (pre-1993 M). The types of waqf in Kuwait are also very diverse such as health endowments, water, public, investment endowments and so on. Kuwait has also implemented very good waqf governance with the establishment of the Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) in 1993. The existence of the KAPF is very influential in the development of waqf in Kuwait. The increase in waqf income for 16 years has tripled. Likewise, with the development of capital assets, there is a very significant increase.

This research is intended to search and information about the strengthening of Islamic religious education (PAI) through the recitation of furudhul Ainiyah which is carried out in Nurul Jadid Paiton Junior High School. The method of this research is by qualitative method with case study method, to express. That is more intense and deep with the above phenomenon. Technique of completion of data and information is done through interview, observation, study study, and literature study. The findings of this research are 1). Students or students are required to complete the recitation of Furudhul Ainiyah as a condition to take the odd semester and even semester exam and become a requirement for class and graduation increase. 2). the implementation of the furudhul Ainiyah memorization is performed on Thursday and Friday nights and Tuesday nights, and can also be done during normal day breaks, 3). The responsible and recipient of the rote deposit are PAI teachers and their homeroom teachers, 4). For students and students who can not read written Al-qur'an is not subject to rote burden, but get special coaching related to Al-Qur'an reading written by the religious coordinator of students. 5). Memory materials include Aqidah, Fiqih or Amaliyah materials, and daily prayers for students of VII and VIII semerter 1 and 2, while for classes IX semesters 1 and 2 cover the material of the Qur'an and Fiqh. 6). (a). Principal, (b). Vice Principal of the curriculum section, (c). Coordinator of students' religious activities, (d). Teacher / teacher of PAI, (e). Homeroom, (e). The authors have analyzed the dynamics of the growth of number of mosques built by religious associations in post-Soviet Kazakhstan and noted a transition from their unregulated and chaotic construction (proliferation) to their precise association with specific maddhabs, and their construction norms conceptualized by religious institutions represented by the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Kazakhstan (DUMK). The types of cultic facilities and the actors are discussed and ranked according to the type of their involvement and partnership. We should note that the participation of various actors adds weight to the status of mosques as important public facilities. The authors have paid particular attention to the religious communities’ revised registration realized under the Law of the RK on Religious Activities and Religious Associations of 2011, which optimized the religious space, consolidated the positions of traditional Islam and, hence, standardized the rules related to mosque construction. Keywords: mosque, public space, post-Soviet realities, re-Islamization, re-appropriation, “mosque diplomacy,” religious communities, traditional Islam, DUMK.

AbstractThis paper deals with the mathematical analysis of a general class of epidemiological models with multiple infectious stages for the transmission dynamics of a communicable disease. We provide a theoretical study of the model. We derive the basic reproduction number $\mathcal R_0$ that determines the extinction and the persistence of the infection. We show that the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable whenever $\mathcal R_0 \leq 1$, while when $\mathcal R_0 \gt 1$, the disease-free equilibrium is unstable and there exists a unique endemic equilibrium point which is globally asymptotically stable. A case study for tuberculosis (TB) is considered to numerically support the analytical results.

Recently, the use of social software has gained enormous popularity in many organizations. However, despite its development from a trend topic to a well established technology, there is little theoretical study on how to measure the success of this kind of information system. Allowing for the unique characteristics of social software, the author assumes that existing IS success models are not applicable to social software without modifications. Therefore, this article aims to develop a model for measuring social software success, which is based on theoretic foundations and the findings of a multiple case study. Results show that existing models are not able to represent all dimensions which are relevant in this context. Especially social aspects related to the organization and the people within have to be taken into account.

This paper summarizes a theoretical study undertaken to provide a better understanding of the consequences of poor bond on flexible pavement performance. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the influence of bond on the performance of Malaysian road. The pavement structure of Malaysian road was analyzed using a layered linear elastic program, BISAR 3.0 taking into account different state of the bond at the interfaces of the pavement layers and a static horizontal load in addition to the standard vertical dual load. The results indicate that the condition of the bond between the wearing and binder course can reduce the life of the pavement by up to 64%. On the other hand, the results also indicate that the condition of the bond between the binder and road base course, which was made up from asphaltic materials can reduce the life of the pavement by up to 68%.

Purpose The purpose of this article is to assist facilities asset managers who are dealing with regulatory environments pertaining to earthquakes and buildings. These professionals can learn a great deal from the successes and short-comings of a case study programme from the Auckland Council Property Department (ACPD), which manages the public facilities portfolio for the largest local administrative region in New Zealand in both population and landmass. Design/methodology/approach ACPD has initiated its response to New Zealand’s earthquake mitigation mandates by identifying buildings most at risk to an earthquake in its large and varied portfolio through the use of a rapid building evaluation programme strategically targeted to vulnerable building types with consequential attributes, including service type, number of occupants, floor area and geographic location. Findings ACPD was able to rapidly cull down its portfolio of approximately 3,500 buildings to just over 100 “high-exposure” buildings in urgent need of evaluation, set priorities for future evaluations, estimate needed operational and capital expenditures for long-term planning and provide useful information to more general facilities management decision-making processes. Originality/value A number of major cities around the world in areas of high seismicity have enacted ordinances mandating seismic retrofitting. However, much of the existing guiding literature regarding earthquake-related portfolio evaluations and costs pertains to specific scenarios involving real or hypothetical earthquakes. This case study, in contrast, details the approach taken by a public portfolio owner responding to legal mandates and attempting to quantify and reduce its life-safety risk exposure across a large portfolio as efficiently as possible using readily available information, a rapid building evaluation programme and best-practice predictive models for consulting and construction work.

The society of Sapeken islands are multi ethnic society. They’re multicultural society. The aim of the research is to know about Sapeken’s society communication system to encounter multi ethnic complexities. The theory of the research is communication system in Niklas Luhmann perspective. The research used case study method. The result of the research shown that society communication system has produced and reproduced information to encounter environmental complexities about multi ethnic. Information which produced by system are collective fish selling, collective purchasing foods and beverages, and religious activities. Information which produced by society communication system was effective to solve multi ethnic complexities. Government communication system have not produced information related to multi ethnic complexities.
