The concept of quality has gained increasing importance over the last decades. Regarding the production process of a company, the quality control implementation allows companies to offer a higher quality product, which has positive influence on customer satisfaction. This paper aims to reflect the importance of statistical methods for quality control. Based on the two broad areas of statistical inference, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing, we demonstrate the usefulness of such methods in problem solving when the proportion of defective items is considered.

<p>Customer is an important factor for the survival of a company. At a time, company sometimes didn’t know the level of customer satisfaction. If the company continues with this situation, the company would not know the next strategies to develop the company. There are many factors that connected with customer such as trust, facility and service quality. This research objective is to analyze if there is a positive influence, both individually and simultaneously between independent variables which are trust, facility and service quality to the dependent variable which is customers. In this research the object are the customers of PT Panah Persada Logisindo Semarang. The data sources are primary and secondary data using sampling technique of 80 respondents. The results of multiple linear regression equation show that there is a positive influence and partial significant between (t= 3,543 &gt; ttebal = 1, 99167) Trust, (t=4,976 &gt;ttebal=1,99167 ) Facility and (t =3,908 &gt; ttebal= 1, 99167) Service Quality effected by customer satisfaction.</p><p><strong>Keywords: Trust, Facility, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction</strong></p><p>Kepuasaan Pelanggan merupakan faktor penting terhadap kelangsungan hidup sebuah perusahaan. Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan saat ini berkaitan dengan tidak diketahuinya kepuasaan Pelanggan setiap tahun, Jika ini dibiarkan terus menerus, perusahaan tidak dapat menentukan strategi untuk meningkakan kepuasaan pelanggan. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi Kepuasaan Pelanggandipengaruhi oleh kepercayaan, fasilitas dan Kualitas Pelayanaan. Perumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian dan hipotesis pada latar belakang masalah dan tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis adakah pengaruh yang positif baik secara individual dan simultan antara variabel independen yaitu kepercayaan, fasilitas, kualitas pelayanaan terhadap variabel dependen yaitu Kepuasaan Pelanggan. Pada penelitian ini obyek yang diambil pengguna jasa Freight forwarder PT Panah Persana Logisindo Semarang Sumber data meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 80 responden teknik sampling yang digunakan seluruh populasi dijadikan sample. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis berganda dihasilkan persamaan : Hasil persamaan regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara ( t hitung = 3,543&gt; t tabel = 1,99167) kepercayaan, (t hitung4,976 &gt; t tabel =1,99167) Fasilitas ( t hitung = 3,908&gt; t tabel = 1,99167) Kualitas pelayanaan terhadap Kepuasaan Pelanggan.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci : Kepercayaan, Fasilitas, Kualitas Pelanggan. PT. FSI is a company engaged in the automotive sector. Increased demand and efforts to meet customer satisfaction, then encouraging companies to continue to make various improvements including the shipping department, which is to facilitate the delivery of products to customers. One of the causes of the delay in the delivery of products to customers (delay delivery) is that there is a problem in the pre-delivery process, namely the storage conveyor machine. A storage conveyor machine is a machine that connects from the results of the production process to the temporary storage of goods which are then put into trucks to be sent to consumers.<br />The objective achieved in this study was to analyze the causes of the delay delivery in the process of shipping car seats on conveyor storage machines and make improvements to reduce the jammed base pallet frequency on the storage conveyor machine using the six sigma method. Based on the results of the research and analysis that have been carried out, it turns out that the case of the jammed base pallet on the conveyor storage machine is the cause of delay delivery to the customer and then make improvement to overcome or reduce the frequency of jammed base pallet problems on the storage conveyor machine by adding sponges to the shaft roller conveyor. The addition of sponge rolls is intended to increase power when moving base pallet between stations.

XYZ is a company engaged in fabrication. Quality is very important for the company because it can affect customer satisfaction. In the production process there are still defect problems found on the top side of the structural construction and it affects the quality of the part. The failure rate on the topside product has a 5:28% percentage exceeds the standards set by the company which is 2%. Based on the percentage of defects that have been obtained, the problem can be solved by fishbone analysis and FMEA. In the first stage using CTQ which aims to identify failures that occur and determine quality characteristics. The next step after identifying the failure that occurred can be calculated DPMO and Sigma Level. After getting the DPMO value and the Sigma level, identification of the root causes of the failure occurred. The purpose of this paper is to show the importance of inventory for a management team within a company in decision making. The main goal of the team is to maximize the company's net profit. The paper will describe the most important functions of the inventory for the benefit of society and how last minute decisions can be made regarding important activities within the organization, as well as the positive influence of these decisions. In addition, the paper will include several methods of profit maximization that involve constant monitoring of stock levels and replenishment. Careful supervision like this will prevent losses for several reasons, such as damage to packaging, expired products or even theft. Additional benefits include organized inventory, as well as the most widely used strategies in reducing expenses and increasing sales within a company. The main purpose of this paper is to increase the fact that inventory is not only a procedure that companies are required to follow at least once a year, but also has multiple advantages that can radically change profits. The methodology consisted of an analysis of academic publications and specialized books of the authors: Dorel Mates, Veronica Grosu, Aura Domil, Daniela Pordea and Denisa Cretu, publications between 2018-2020 and lectures and papers by Monica Nedelcu and Constantin Bagu have were also used to understand the stock production process, as well as production management, published in 2017. Inventory is an indispensable step in the production and operation of a business, as stated by experts in their publications.

ABSTRAKBayam Jepang adalah komoditas unggulan yang diproduksi oleh PO. Sayur Organik Merbabu dengan tingkat penjualan tertinggi mencapai 1018 kg/bulan. Salah satu faktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam proses produksi adalah kualitas produk, karena akan berdampak terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Akan tetapi terdapat kendala dalam proses produksi, yaitu sifat tanaman yang sangat rentan rusak dan patah jika tidak diperlakukan secara tepat. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kualitas terhadap Bayam Jepang untuk menekan tingkat kerusakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui jenis cacat dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas Bayam Jepang.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 16 Januari sampai 20 Februari 2020 dengan metode deskripstif kualitatif dan menggunakan alat pengendalian mutu seperti lembar periksa, histogram, peta kendali, pareto dan fishbone. Jumlah informan yang digunakan terdiri dari pemilik usaha, tenaga kerja, petani mitra dan distributor. Setelah dilakukan penelitian ditemukan lima jenis cacat yaitu daun cacat, batang patah, daun kuning, tanaman kerdil dan busuk batang atau daun. Persentase cacat yang paling tinggi adalah daun cacat. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas Bayam Jepang adalah faktor manusia, metode, dan lingkungan yang didukung dengan pembuatan diagram fishbone.ABSTRACTJapanese spinach is a superior commodity produced by PO. Sayur Organik Merbabu with the highest level of sales reach 1018 kg / month. One factor that needs to be considered in production process is product quality, because it will have an impact on customer satisfaction. However, there are obstacles in the production process, namely the nature of plants that are very susceptible to damage and broken if not treated properly. So it is necessary to conduct a quality analysis of Japanese spinach on an ongoing basis to reduce the level of damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of defects and factors that affect the quality of Japanese spinach. This research was conducted on January 16 to February 20, 2020 with qualitative descriptive methods and using quality control tools such as check sheets, histograms, control maps, pareto and fishbone. The number of informants used consisted of business owners, workers, partner farmers and distributors. After doing the research, five types of defects were found, namely defective leaves, broken stems, yellow leaves, dwarf plants and stems or leaf rot, with the highest percentage of defects being defective leaves. While the factors that influence the quality of Japanese spinach are found, namely human factors, methods, and the environment supported by making fishbone diagrams.

PT. Maspion III is a company engaged in household appliances products, In carrying out its production process activities PT. Maspion III experiences various problems. Clarisa products are products that are found reject or defective. because it is caused by suboptimal quality control. This can be seen from the number of reject or defect products. This study aims to determine the type of waste that causes defects, determine the capability of the production process, and provide recommendations for improvement in the production process. The research methods are quantitative and qualitative approaches to lean six sigma and yang and FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis). lean six sigma is a systemic and systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste. FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis) is used as a reference for companies to take corrective actions to identify product critical points in the production process. The results obtained are waste that affects product quality, namely waste defect, there are two highest defects, namely floi with a cumulative presentation of 51% and a breakage of 65%. In August the capability process is 1.5012, In September the capability process is 1.6818, In October the capability process is 1.3727, In November the capability process is 1.4275, In December the capability process is 1.4366

This research is motivated by the still not optimal quality control in the production of Nata De Coco which can be seen from the decrease in customer satisfaction, namely the reduced demand for products from consumers, this is thought to be caused by the not optimal implementation of quality control carried out by the company. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. Based on the results of the study that: 1) The implementation of quality control at the Nata De Coco Factory Bojongmengger Ciamis has been carried out quite well in accordance with the indicators that have been set in this study, namely performance, features, reliability, conformance, durability, service ability, aesthetics and quality which shows that it is quite good; 2) The production process at the Nata De Coco Factory Bojongmengger Ciamis is generally good because it is in accordance with the indicators that have been set in this study, which include the production schedule, production sequence and production time which show that it is good; 3) The implementation of quality control plays a role in improving the production process at the Nata De Coco Factory Bojongmengger Ciamis. It can be seen that with the implementation of quality control which is already quite good, it has an impact on increasing the production process at the Nata De Coco Factory in Bojongmengger Ciamis. Thus, if the implementation of quality control is good, the company's production process will increase.

This study focuses on how to control defective products at PT. Parkland World Indonesia, a company engaged in the Adidas brand shoe industry for the period April 2020 to March 2021, the average product achievement reaches 8.37%, while the company wants Zero Defect. The purpose of this study is to reduce bond defects through an approximation approach, where we observe and conduct tests in order to improve performance and reduce. The method to guarantee the quality of the product produced is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) which is a data-based problem solving approach that helps to optimally correct defects caused by the production process can decrease. The results of the analyzed data showed 5 CTQ (Critical to Quality) bonds with the highest percentage of bonding stabilizer at 43.70%. The conclusions and recommendations that can be drawn from this study are the causes of shoe ties that can be prevented by implementing several proposed improvements, by providing the latest SOPs, maximum WIP visual standards, brush change visual systems, and providing RCA (root cause analysis) board meetings

This study aims to determine the analysis of the quality control of palm oil quality in PT. Lembah Bhakti Aceh Singkil Plantation. The function of implementing quality control is to control the quality of the initial input in the form of completion of raw materials, the production process, to the process of output of finished goods. This study uses several methods, namely filtration and titration. The average quality of palm oil at FFA levels ranges from 3.39 to 4.97 with a max.3 standard, a moisture content ranging from 0.12 to 0.3% with a max standard. 0.2%, and impurities levels ranged from 0.015-0.025% with the max standard. 0.02%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the measurement of quality control that is carried out is very influential in product quality, so that it can affect the income. Where the income of a company depends on the CPO oil selling price in PMKS PT. Perkebunan Lembah Bhakti. The selling value in marketing is very dependent on the quality of the CPO.
