This research aims to develop Pop-Up Book as supplementary media to support the teaching of narrative texts and to evaluate whether or not the media are feasible to teach narrative texts to the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The media consisted of narrative texts with pop-up pictures. They were divided based on the structure of a narrative text. The materials were taken from the students’ textbook that the researcher has simplified. The procedures were adapted from ADDIE Model proposed by Branch and it used three phases, namely, Analyse, Design, and Develop. From analyse phase, it was found that the students needed interesting media that was visually attractive to engage them in the teaching learning process and to support the existing materials. The Design phase covered the aspects, which were the focus of the media, of the materials and the pictures for the media, and the structure of the media. The Development phase concerned the development of the essential parts of the media. According to the evaluation result, the media are considered feasible to be applied by the teachers to teach narrative text reading.

Abstract For SRAMs with high logic complexity, hard defects, design debug, and soft defects have to be tackled all at once early on in the technology development while innovative integration schemes in front-end of the line are being validated. This paper presents a case study of a high-complexity static random access memory (SRAM) used during a 32nm technology development phase. The case study addresses several novel and unrelated fail mechanisms on a product-like SRAM. Corrective actions were put in place for several process levels in the back-end of the line, the middle of the line, and the front-end of the line. These process changes were successfully verified by demonstrating a significant reduction of the Vmax and Vmin nest array block fallout, thus allowing the broader development team to continue improving random defectivity.

ABSTRACT Sleep is a human necessity that must be met, especially in the development phase because during sleep will occur the brain and body developments, so that sleep disturbance is a problem that would cause adverse effects on infants’ growth and development. The good quality of sleep can be created by providing the infants massage routinely. This study aimed to prove that the massage could affect the quality of sleep on the 0-3 months old baby. This study used Quasy-experimental design with One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample 22 infants selected by total sampling technique observed on before and after the massage. The variables measured in this study are the quality of sleep. The results of study indicate that there is an effect of infant massage to the sleep quality on 0-3 months old babies (p value 0,008 < α = 0,05).Based on the results of this study it recommended for the families and communities to provide infant massage regularly and independently to increase the quality of sleep on the baby.

Abstract: The students 'reading ability is low, it certainly affects the students' writing ability. Implementation of the School Literacy Movement is a solution to students' low reading ability. This study aims to describe the pattern of Implementation of School Literacy Movement that took place in SMP Negeri 5 Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type that describes the School Literacy Movement in SMP Negeri 5 Malang. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the pattern of implementation of school literacy measures in SMP Negeri 5 Malang included: 1) The habituation phase was carried out by way of students bringing reading books from home or borrowing books to the library. At this stage a class reading corner was prepared, reading 15 minutes before learning began, and a literacy journal; 2) The Development and Learning Phase increases the school resources especially at the State Junior High School 5 Malang, namely the existence of a reading corner in each class, an increase in the number of books, a 30-minute reading club, and a product of the School Literacy Movement. Keywords: School Literacy Movement, Habituation Phase, Development Phase, LearningAbstrak: Kemampuan membaca peserta didik tergolong rendah pasti berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis peserta didik.

AbstractCar crash simulation analysis is an important phase within the vehicle development. It intends to analyse the crashworthiness of the vehicle model and examine the level of passive security. However, this activity is not trivial because of the considerable collaboration within the project, the large amount of analysed and exchanged data and a high exigency. Consequently, a solution to assist, ease and reduce the time of the process is desired. To study the current practices followed in the car crash simulation analysis an empirical study has been conducted. This study has been applied within the simulation analysis team, in the development phase, within an automotive company. This paper describes a qualitative analysis of the industrial context and diagnoses the dysfunctions in the current practices. This paper also highlights the current challenges encountered in the car crash simulation analysis.
