As a consequence of never-ending changes occurs in the business environment, organisations must ensure that they own proficient people who could adapt themselves to development. An agile organisation is one that possesses the ability to face changes and succeed with the support of competent staff and strategies. This research article emphasises the competitive advantage which organisation offer in turbulent scenario. However,  This study presents a comprehensive literature review to create an apparent link between organisational agility and HRM practices. It provides an abstract landscape that acknowledges rule the people in building of organisations responsive.

The paper examines the specific knowledge universities transfer to industry, reflecting to creative industry needs. As results shows, the most asked alumni competences should be tacit knowledge and divergent thinking. Divergent thinking influence the creativity. Creativity is often defined as the ability to develop new and useful ideas, but in deep literature review, we can see few irregularities and different definitions of creativity. The paper also evaluates the importance of creativity from business environment point of view and from the creative industry perspective and creative firm owners. As point of view. Another key finding is, that to educate creative people will be one of the key competitive advantage, because mainly the ability to create and disseminate knowledge is often at the heart of the organization's competitive advantage not only in creative industry, but in transport industry as well.

Workforce diversity is a critical area of competence for any organisation. It is an important asset for every organisation that seeks competitive advantage in the global economy. With the change in needs at the fast pace, the association among the people from varied culture, background, beliefs etc. has increased substantially. Wambui et.al. state that HRM practices need to promote diversity for business to grow effectively. The paper discusses the various benefits of a having a diverse workforce along with the challenges linked to it (post #me too movement also). The study of various literature and research papers and books has been done which reveals that diversity is all about differences. The manner in which we analyse and use these differences will determine whether diversity is an asset or liability to the individual and the organization. Workforce diversity can prove to be a strong pillar to the organisation if managed appropriately. There is need to lead a diverse workforce that can give diverse benefits to the organisation.

In today's competitive business environment, information systems are not a luxury; rather they are vital for survival. A new generation of ISs has been established on cloud capabilities. Moving toward software as a service is not the goal in a business, and if not implemented properly, competitive advantage may even suffer. Managers and change agents should undertake deep study over SaaS implementation before migration. In this chapter, the main elements and features in which CEOs and IT managers should consider in evaluating the SaaS migration option will be provided, and enterprises may be acquainted with the concept, goals, and theoretical foundations of SaaS as a main cloud-based service in the business environment. On the other hand, businesses should undertake some necessary changes in the operating circumstances which are utilization of a proper and modified business models established over a knowledge base strategic movement. This will lead enterprises to achieve the main goals of migrating to SaaS and cloud platforms (i.e., agility, competitive advantage, and innovation).

Innovation has become an integral part of every business organization because it provides sustainable competitive advantage to the company. In today's highly dynamic business environment every organization wants to succeed by leveraging their employees' talent. In order to leverage the employees' talent, it is important to follow relevant HRM policies or to continuously introduce innovative HR practices to meet the expectations of the employees. Reviewing the literature and previous research work, this study has tried to find out the various innovative HR practices initiated by Indian organizations till now. The findings will help in guiding how much more innovative practices are still to be initiated in order to attain employee confidence and loyalty for the company. The enterprenurial process in purified water system is typical not just how entrepreneurs whose played in water treatment industry viewed as opportunity, creativity, innovation and leadership, but also need to focused on green business environment and most importantly the sustainability in Indonesian pharmaceutical industry. In addition, pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia is one the rapidly growing industries with a market that continues to grow and the largest pharmaceutical market in the ASEAN region. The aim of this paper is to examine the literature review and conceptual framework model to shown that the entrepernurial process in purified water system of Indonesia pharmaceutical industry will lead to green business environment and sustainable competitive advantage.

Organizations from different industries worldwide focus their efforts and budgets to enhance employees’ creativity which is widely perceived as a major success ingredient in today’s challenging business environment. Consequently, practitioners and managers establish reward systems to enhance employees’ creativity. However, the literature presents opposing views pertaining to the relationship between rewards and employees creativity, such that some scholars find it important to be intrinsically motivated to be creative whereby others find extrinsic motivation (e.g. rewards) to be important to enhance creativity. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive literature review by presenting prominent theories addressing the role of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in enhancing employees’ creativity. It then highlights the research questions intended to be investigated and finally presents the context of proposed empirical research. Purpose Building on the little guidance in the existing literature regarding the relationship between human resource management (HRM) practices, entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance, this study aims to generate theoretical propositions that underpin an integrative framework following a systematic literature review, then to test such a framework within the context of a small and medium enterprise (SME) to demonstrate how employees’ knowledge and competencies are translated into added value while fostering the company’s entrepreneurial capabilities and culture. Design/methodology/approach For the purpose of this research, a systematic literature review was adopted to build the propositions underpinning an integrative theoretical framework linking HRM practices, entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance. A single case study approach was then followed to test the propositions of the integrative theoretical framework within the context of an SME, while adopting a triangulation methodology for data collection, including questionnaires, interviews and archival data. Data analysis was conducted following the procedures of a pattern-matching methodology. Findings This research confirms the strategic role of HRM practices in fostering the firm’s entrepreneurial orientation and capabilities, while nurturing, enriching and bundling employees’ knowledge, skills and distinctive competencies within the context of a company’s innovation-driven strategy. HRM practices through a strategic alignment with the company’s business strategy, contribute to shaping up organizational attitudes, behaviors and cultural determinants that are, in turn, conducive to better innovativeness, risk propensity and initiative-taking. Theoretical and empirical evidence shows how such corporate entrepreneurialism is then translated into adding value activities, individual and group productivity and overall organizational performance. Research limitations implications This research generates meaningful insights on how HRM practices contribute to shaping up corporate entrepreneurship attitudes and transforming them into both individual and organizational results while building on conceptual assumptions and empirical evidence. The authors believe such insights have the potential to lay the foundations of a comprehensive theoretical model that disentangles the complexities and the dynamics of how strategically-oriented HRM interventions could help an organization redirect its employees’ competencies into innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities to generate a competitive advantage in an ever-changing business environment. Future research should emphasize mainly on multiple case study approaches and ethnographic methodologies for the sake of result generalizability and holistic understandings. Practical implications This research draws significant conclusions for SMEs to cope with the change and the fierce competitive dynamics affecting current business environments. To consolidate and further develop their strategic positioning, this research suggests that SMEs could leverage distinctive individual and group competencies, through strategically aligned HRM actions and investments, to foster learning and generate entrepreneurially-oriented cultural values and management style conducive to innovation, performance and competitive advantage. Originality/value This research offers integrated and holistic views of how HRM practices affect organizational performance while leveraging on learning to create the necessary cultural and managerial conditions for corporate entrepreneurialism. This research builds on both theoretical propositions and empirical evidence to lay the foundations of a comprehensive model linking HRM practices, entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance. From a practical perspective, the research findings suggest new human resource developmental venues while placing much emphasis on the value of creating the innovation-driven managerial culture and fostering entrepreneurially-oriented attitudes to achieve better performance results.

The article seeks to explore the contemporary issues of meaningful content of a competitive advantage in achieving strategic goals. The study offers an attempt to provide a deeper understanding of competitive advantage origin and generation and suggests two patterns:  competitive advantage as an outcome of effective resource management and the performance efficiency (activity success) as an outcome of gaining a competitive advantage. The relationship between the organizational knowledge categories and enterprise strategy is presented. It is argued that innovative knowledge shapes a favourable environment for building competitive advantages. The literature review on modern approaches to building company competitive advantages has allowed identifying three main areas: market-based approach, resource-based approach and partnership-based approach. It is suggested to differentiate each of the above approaches to generating competitive advantages from the three basic perspectives: in terms of the source of competitive advantage, barriers to imitation of competitive advantages and from the position of the company strategic goals. A retrospective analysis of the meaningful content of a competitive advantage concept contributed to providing the author’s interpretation of this category with an emphasis on the relevance of its consideration within three projections – market position, unique resources / opportunities and partnership interaction with further focus on specific drivers of competitive advantages as an impetus for partnership collaboration in the business environment. Among the factors able to boost competitive advantages the study considers the following: innovative knowledge exchange possibilities and building the capacity to create additional resources / opportunities (tangible and intangible). A competitive advantage within the scope of this study is viewed as company's ability to respond quickly to market demands through the effective use of unique resources / opportunities (own and derived from partnerships in the current business environment) in order to most effectively meet the customer needs and expectations.

Historically, very few logistic trends have caught the attention of academics and practitioners to the same extent as outsourcing. A comprehensive literature review reveals two reasons for this continual topicality. The problem complexity and the business environment dynamics – including an interaction with other main trends in logistics and modern supply chains – both led to a permanent literature gap, indicating the need to explore some new aspects of logistics outsourcing (LO). In this paper, a new LO research perspective has been explored by identifying some weaknesses in the main LO research streams and related common viewpoints which led to six ‘logistics outsourcing research paradoxes’. Each of these paradoxes is briefly described and their links with research streams and common views on LO discussed. Finally, the nature of some known opportunities for further research is better explained and some overlooked research opportunities are highlighted.

The purpose of this study is to define process management as a requirement of organizational excellence in the twenty-first century business environment. The business environment in the twenty-first century has reached a new height as far as challenges are concerned. The Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences have shaped a new business environment that requires organizations and businesses to raise the bar for themselves in honoring their obligation to achieve excellence. This means that competitive advantage, quality service, and product are achieved through organizational excellence. How can process management help organizations and businesses achieve organizational excellence in such a hostile and turbulent business environment? Applying a conceptual approach, the study attempts to answer the question through a comprehensive literature review. Testable propositions have been formulated, action steps defined, and implications of the study established. By identifying workflow design (WFD), control and correction of workflow processes (CCWFP), monitoring of workflow processes (MWFP), and workflow promotion of process-related learning in organizations (WPPRLO) against the background of conceptualization, operationalization, and context, the study findings suggest that process management is indeed a requirement for organizational excellence in the twenty-first century business environment. Scholars and practitioners have the opportunity to confirm or disconfirm the validity of the assumptions and ideas presented in the study.
