Science process learning emphasis on giving learning experience directly to develop competence in exploring and understanding environment scientifically. Science education is purposed for inquiry and do something in order to help the student to get more understanding about environment. The purpose of this development research is to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of science-biology teaching learning package for Junior High School using inquiry model to facilitate science process skills in human digestive system matter. The package  was developed using a 4-D model, and it was implemented in 30 students of SMPN 2 Lamongan. The design of this implementation phase was  One Group Pretest Posttest Design with a descriptive analysis of data. The validation revealed that the package was in good quality, so it fits to be used as a teaching learning package. Enforceability of lesson plans was also well-categorized. The student’s activities  showed the appropriate inquiry learning. The  student achievement in pretest was all students not complete, in posttest all students was complete.  Average cognitive product were 49,11 and 91,11 in pretest and posttest respectively with N-Gain 0,82.  Average cognitive process were 17,46 and 93,73 respectively with  N-Gain 0,92. N-Gain analysis results illustrate that the model of inquiry learning process was able to improve students’ science process skills because the result obtained are in the high category. Inquiry learning model also influenced students’ cognitif leaning outcome, which could complete all aspect of learning objectives.  Sensitivity items were between 0,3 up to 1,0. This indicates that all items were sensitive to learning effect. The student respond of this learning was good, and the students were really exciting and this model could facilitate them to learn.  The conclusions of this research was the learning package using inquiry model was valid, practise, and effective to improve students’ science process skills in human digestive system. Proses pembelajaran IPA menekankan pada pemberian pengalaman belajar secara langsung untuk mengembangkan kompetensi dalam menjelajahi dan memahami alam sekitar secara ilmiah.  Pendidikan IPA diarahkan untuk inkuiri dan berbuat sehingga membantu peserta didik untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang alam sekitar. Penelitian pengembangan yang telah dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektifitas perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang dikembangkan dengan model inkuiri untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan perangkat 4-D, uji coba II pada 30 siswa SMPN 2 Lamongan. Rancangan penelitian saat uji coba adalah  One Group Pretest-Posttest. Design dengan analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat berkualitas baik, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, keterlaksanaan RPP dikategorikan baik, dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Hasil belajar siswa pada uji awal (pretest) menunjukkan semua siswa tidak ada yang tuntas,  sedangkan  pada uji akhir (posttest) semua siswa tuntas. THB produk rata-rata uji awal (pretest) 49,11 dan rata-rata uji akhir (posttest) 91,11 dengan Indeks N-Gain 0,82. THB proses rata-rata uji awal (pretest) 17,46 dan rata-rata uji akhir (posttest) 93,73 dengan Indeks N-Gain 0,92. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses siswa, karena hasil yang diperoleh berada pada kategori tinggi. Sensitivitas butir soal seluruhnya menunjukkan peka terhadap efek pembelajaran karena berada antara 0,3 sampai dengan 1,0. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dinilai baru, menarik, dan memudahkan siswa dalam belajar. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan model inkuiri adalah valid, praktis dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia.

The research aims to develop inquiry learning materials to facilitate science process skills and science concept mastery the junior high school students in energy and works matter. The research was conducted through two phase that is development phase by using 4-D models and implementation phase using one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods used test and observation, while the data analysis techniques using inferential parametric, quantitative descriptive, and qualitative descriptive. The result were obtained: the devices that have been developed are generally categorized as well; RPP performing well; activity is the dominant doing observation; The results also showed that mean of N-gain score mastery of concepts in high category; science process skills in high category; students mastery of the concept after learning improving; students responses to learning a positive model of inquiry. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the develop inquiry learning materials effective that can be applied in learning activities in grade VIII of SMP.

This reseach aims to develop a physics learning material based on guided inquiry to facilate the students’ science process skills are valid, practical and effective. Learning material was developed using 3-D models (define, design, develop) were tested using a one group pretest-posttest design. Learning material was tryouted class VII SMPN 1 Muara Jawa in academic year 2014/2015. The data collection through observation, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis and descriptive analysis of quantitative. The results obtained demonstrate the validity of the learning material that includes lesson plans, worksheets, textbooks and  students the knowledge and skills assessment sheet of a valid category. Practicality implementation of learning material that includes lesson plans and students’ activities of a good category. The learning material developed is effective in terms of achievement learning indicators and learning outcomes of individual completeness increases, the positive students’ response to learning. Based on these results, it can be conclude that the physics learning material based on guided inquiry are valid, practical and effective for use in teaching and learning and can to facilate the science process skills in junior high school students’. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika SMP berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan model 3-D (define, design, develop) yang diujicobakan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Uji coba perangkat pembelajaran dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Muara Jawa tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara analisis kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan validitas perangkat yang meliputi RPP, LKS, Buku ajar siswa dan Lembar Penilaian pengetahuan serta keterampilan berkategori valid. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi keterlaksanaan RPP dan aktivitas siswa berkategori baik. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah efektif ditinjau dari ketercapaian indikator pembelajaran serta ketuntasan hasil belajar individual yang meningkat, respon siswa positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan berkategori valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar serta dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses sains kepada siswa SMP.

The main problem in this study is whether there are differences in the science process skills of students after the guided inquiry learning model is applied. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in science process skills of students after applying the guided inquiry learning mode. This type of research is pre-experimental and One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 4 Binongko in the academic year 2019/2020, amounting to 30 students consisting of one class, so that the population mentioned above as well as research samples. The research instrument used was a science process skills test. The results of descriptive analysis on the pretest obtained an average score of 8.84 scientific process skills baseline while in the posttest obtained an average score of science process skills of 16.35 with a normalized gain index of 0.47 which included the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning using the guided incutri learning model provides a better influence in improving students' science process skills. As for suggestions so that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model implemented optimally it is necessary to manage time appropriately so that the learning objectives can be achieved.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning Model, Science process skills.Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Binongko tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik terdiri dari satu kelas, sehingga populasi tersebut di atas sekaligus sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisi deskriptif pada pretest diperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan proses sains sebasar 8,83 sedangkan pada posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan proses sains sebesar 16,35 dengan indeks gain ternormalisasisebesar 0,47 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Adapun saran agar penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terlaksana dengan optimal perlu melakukan pengelolaan waktu secara tepat sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing, Keterampilan proses sains

The purpose of this research is to improve the science process skills and scientific attitudes of students. In a lesson study activity, teachers of some Junior High Schools collaboratively developed a teaching learning process using the inquiry model for expansion concepts. The teaching learning process was carried out at one junior high schools in Bandung. The method used is the Classroom Action Research. Meanwhile, the instruments used in this research are observation formats involving teacher and student activities, science process skills and scientific attitudes of students, science process skill tests for students and lesson study observation sheets for observers. The objects of this research were the students class VII E 2010/2011 as many as 38 students who were enrolled in science learning. The results showed an increase in students' science process skills in science learning after using the inquiry learning model. The average of the normalized gain score of science process skills in the firts cycle is 0.67, in the second cycle is 0.49, and in the third cycle is 0,70. Based on observations in this research, the using of inquiry learning model can improve the science process skills of students. Besides, the scientific attitudes of students consisting of curiosity, cooperation, responsibility and discipline are well developed during the learning process.Keywords: learning science-based inquiry, science process skill, scientific attitude.

The aims of this research are to develop Subject Specific Pedagogy with SETS vision that consist of syllabus, lesson plans, students worksheets, and evaluation sheets that can be applied in teaching learning to develop science process skills and learning science motivation for seventh grade students in Junior High School. The study was a Research and Development (R&D) with students in class VII MTs Darul Ishlah Sukorejo as a subject of study. The research start from September to November 2019. The study began with a literature study and field study to obtain information about the problem faced at school, and followed by planning, drafting and validating product by experts. The result shows that Subject Specific Pedagogy with SETS vision feasible to use in teaching and learning based on the validation result from lecturer, teacher, and student response. The Subject Specific Pedagogy with SETS vision potential for develop the science process skills and learning science motivation of students.

One of alternative way to improve science process skills and student creativity is by using guided inquiry learning model. Improvement science process skills research and student creativity in the excretion system material concept was carried out in� SMP Negeri 1 Cigandamekar. This research was carried out by quasi-experimental method. The research was conducted on the eighth grade students of junior high school. The research� used two classes, there are class VIIIA as control and VIIIB as experimental classes. In control class� the learning process is carried out by conventional methods namely lectures and information discussions. While in the learning experimental class using guided inquiry models with discussion learning methods.The result shows that studied with guided inquiry models is increasing value of 96 % from learning I to learning II. The students who studied using guided inquiry learning models have higher values of science process skills than the control classes that using conventional learning models. This is proved by the average value of N-Gain in the assessment of science process skills in the experimental class which is 0.35 while in the control class the value of N-Gain is 0.23. The average value of science process skills in the control class was 53,48 and in the experimental class the value was 64,33. There is increasing value of students' science process skills after learning with a guided inquiry model of 10.22% The average value of creativity in the control class was 62.96 and in the experimental class the value was 83.28. And there is increasing in the value of students' creativity with indicators of fluency, flexibility, elaboration and originality with a cumulative value of 24.39%. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which students 'science process skills in Biology subjects can be increased through the use of Guided Inquiry learning models and to know students' responses to learning that has been implemented as a reflection of learning. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan on students of class XII Science. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR)  methods. The results showed that the use of Guided Inquiry learning models in Biology concepts of plant growth and development concepts can provide positive and significant improvements to students' science process skills.

The purpose of this research was to know effect of inquiry learning strategies and problem solving ability to student university science process skills on plant physiology prakticum. The research applied the quasy experiment method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The results showed that (1) science process skills of student university who learned with modified free inquiry learning strategies are higher science process skills of student university who learned with guided inquiry learning strategies (2) There is interaction effect between strategies learning and problem solving ability to the science process skills. (3) science process skills of student university who learned with modified free inquiry learning strategies is higher than the students who learned with guided inquiry learning strategies in terms of high problem solving ability. and (4) science process skills student university learned with guided inquiry learning strategies are higher than students who learned with modified free inquiry learning strategies in terms of low problem solving ability. Based on the findings of that inquiry learning strategies effect science process skills of student university.

This research aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on science process skills and higher order thinking skills on the theme of heat and its displacement in grade V SD Negeri 104260 Melati. The research instrument included observation of science process skills and tests of higher order thinking skills. This study uses the analysis of the Independent Sample Test (t test).The average value of science process skills in the guided inquiry class was 81.62 and the direct instruction learning model class was 79.02. A significant influence on students' science process skills in the learning process on the theme of heat and its displacement, with a score of tcount (2.384)> ttable (2.004) for n = 56, α = 0.05 and sig. 2 tailed (0.021) <α = 0.05, so that H₀rejected. then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. The average value of high-order thinking skills in the guided inquiry class is 75.57 and in the class of direct instruction learning model. A total of 67.43. The results of the analysis of high-order thinking skills have tcount (3.597)> ttable (2.004) for n = 56, α = 0.05 and sig. 2 tailed (0.001) <α = 0.05, so that H₀rejected and Ha accepted. Guided inquiry learning model affects science process skills and high-order thinking skills of students on the theme of heat and its displacement in grade V SD Negeri 104260 Melati.

The aims of this research are to produce SETS worksheet that can be applied in teaching learning to grow and process skills and scientific attitude for students in Junior High Shcool. The study was a Research and Development (R D ) with students in class VIII SMP N 1 Sewon Bantul as a subject of study. The reseach start form July to November 2015.
