Multicultural awareness is very crucial for every student, as well as self-regulated learning. Until now, research on these two variables is still min-imal. Moreover, there are no studies that examine the factors that influence the relationship between the two variables. This study aims to explore the relation-ship between multicultural awareness and self-regulated learning in students and discuss the role of students' personal profile in the relationship between the vari-ables. The respondents of this study were 165 students of the City of Surabaya, Indonesia. The structural equation model is used for data analysis techniques. The results showed that hypothesis 1 was accepted, meaning a positive and sig-nificant effect of multicultural awareness on self-regulated learning. The path co-efficient was 0.284, while the t-statistics were more significant than 1.96 (2,544) or p-values less than 0.05 (0.011). Whereas in hypothesis 2, it is rejected, the path coefficient is -0.230 while the t-static is less than 1.96 (1,811) or the p-value is more significant than 0.05 (0.071). In conclusion, personal profiles do not affect the relationship between multicultural awareness-ness and self-regulated learn-ing. This study's recommendation is to provide information on need assessments useful in determining appropriate counseling strategies at the University.

Purpose: This study aims to combine the literature of consumer behavior and green marketing into a new managerial framework of green motivation. In addition, the present study proposes an original framework to explore the influence of Green Self-Efficacy (GSE) on Green Buying Intentions (GPI) of consumers through the mediating role of Perceived Consumer Effectiveness (PCE). Design/Methodology/Approach: The current study summarizes the literature of four concepts namely green self-efficacy, perceived consumer effectiveness and green purchase intentions to develop a new framework to enhance green purchasing intentions. A questionnaire was administered to empirically verify the hypothesis and data collected from Indian consumers were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) and Hayes’s Mediation Model. Findings: The study found the positive and significant effect of GSE on GPI through PCE. In addition, the relationship between GSE and GPI are partially mediated by PCE. The conclusions drawn in the study is useful for marketers to understand the factors that affect the purchasing intentions of the consumers and will help them improve the strategies in order to increase green sales. Indeed, green marketing is a distinct and distinguish way of positioning a product or company which can benefit the society with improved environmental conditions and healthy products. Originality: Although researchers have been studying the role of green motivation, particularly in the context of green purchasing behavior, it may safely asserted that the boarder dimension of GM, GSE and PCE have been remained under-researched. This study proposes an original framework to enhance GPI via GSE and PCE.

The present study aims to explore the role of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) concept with a combination of an effectuation concept. First, it examined the effect of ESE on resources acquisition in a new venture in an emerging country’s context. Second, it attempted to use effectuation principles, namely, affordable loss, set of means, and precommitment as mediators in a relationship between ESE and resource acquisition in a new venture. A sample of 462 agro-processing entrepreneurs is explicitly surveyed and interviewed. The hierarchical regression and structural equation model were employed to analyze the data. Results showed that an ESE has a significant positive effect on the venture’s resources acquisition ability. Moreover, results showed that the effect of ESE in resource acquisition is manifested through affordable loss, precommitment, and set of means principles. Theoretically, this study extends the knowledge on the mediating role of effectuation principles using ESE in pursuing essential venture functions such as resources acquisition.

THE EFFECTS OF SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT ON INDIVIDUAL ASPECTS AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS OF MATHEMATICS EDUCATION DEPARTMENTS Abstract This study aims to describe the models of the effect of social environment on individual aspects (academic procrastination, self-regulated learning, and self-efficacy) and their relationship with the academic achievement of the students of mathematics education departments. The population was 1.285 under graduate students of mathematics education departments at three universities in Jambi. The sample was established purposively along with the stratification sampling, from which subsequent subjects were randomly selected 260 students from the population. The data were collected through Likert-scale. The instrument validity was in term of the content validity and construct validity. The data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and t-test. SEM and CFA were used to test quantitatively the model of simultaneous causality, either directly or indirectly and to test whether the theoretical constructs were supported by the data collected, while the t-test were used to find out statistically the differences of the mean score of each variable  in terms of gender. The result of the study shows that the structural equation model developed appropriate (fit) with the data collected. It was found that gender affects the differences in all variables, except the reasons for procrastination. The result also indicate that there are effect of social environment on individual aspects (academic procrastination, self-regulated learning, and self-efficacy) and there is relationship with the academic achievement of the students of mathematics education departments. Keywords: SEM, academic achievement, academic procrastination, self-regulated learning, self-efficacy, and social environment

As a causal attribution, attributing academic success to giftedness might influence students’ academic achievement. According to previous studies, students’ self-regulated learning and negative learning emotions may mediate the association between achievement attribution and academic achievement. Therefore, the present study employed structural equation modeling to examine the association between attributing academic success to giftedness and academic achievement among elementary and secondary students, and included students’ negative learning emotions and self-regulated learning as mediators. The 2018 data from China Family Panel Studies were included in the present study for analysis. Results showed that the full mediation models had satisfactory model fits. After controlling the effects of the covariates, attributing academic success to giftedness had a positive indirect association with their academic achievement, through the mediation of self-regulated learning and negative learning emotions. Based on these findings, possible explanations and suggestions for practices and future research are discussed.
